Listening to the man’s mocking tone close to her ear, Wen Qiao slowly raised a question mark in her mind, "What are you freaking out about now?"
"Freaking out about you."
After Fu Jinghen said that, he turned around and walked towards his own car.

The car played relaxing music that cald the spirits. Listening to the gentle humming of the woman by his side, Qi Ming hooked up the corner of his mouth and asked, "Are you happy?"
Wen Shu nodded, "Yes, I’m very happy to be able to sing ’Red Makeup’ the song with you."
Qi Ming blushed slightly at Wen Shu’s straightforward words. He chuckled with a silly "hehe" twice, "I’m also very happy."
"Lucky you have sharp eyes and saw my little uncle and them, otherwise I might have had to sing with soone else."
Wen Shu winked playfully at him, "Maybe that’s the advantage of having big eyes."
Seeing her wink at him, Qi Ming’s face grew even hotter. He turned his head away to focus on driving. After a while, he asked, "But you really don’t mind having dinner at the sa table with Wen Qiao?"
"No, of course not," Wen Shu said with a hint of bewildernt in her eyes. "Didn’t you tell you don’t like her? And she’s going to be your little uncle’s fiancée, eventually a part of your family. I can’t just forbid you from associating with your little uncle, can I? Plus, if I did mind, I wouldn’t have suggested that you go have dinner with President Fu earlier."
Qi Ming was convinced by Wen Shu. The traffic light ahead turned red, and he stepped on the brakes to stop the car. He turned his head and looked at Wen Shu seriously, "I promise you, I have absolutely no thoughts about Wen Qiao. The most our relationship will ever be is to call her ’Little Aunt’ when I see her in the future."
Wen Shu was amused by his serious deanor and burst out laughing, "I said I don’t mind. Why so serious, silly?"
Qi Ming smiled earnestly and a bit foolishly, "That’s good to know."
The traffic light turned green, and Qi Ming stepped on the accelerator, the car continued to move forward.
Wen Shu looked out the window, recalling Wen Qiao’s behavior during their contact over the past two days and her reaction at the dinner table earlier.
It didn’t quite match the description of Wen Qiao in the book.
In the original story, although Wen Qiao ca from a well-off family and had good looks, her character was sowhat gloomy and depressed due to her family background, and she also had the capricious nature typical of a spoiled young lady.
But at the dinner table today, she wasn’t like the spoiled and slightly troubleso character described in the book. Words like ’gloomy’ and ’depressed’ couldn’t be associated with her at all, and she showed no discomfort interacting with Qi Ming. Her unruffled deanor was as if she had never liked Qi Ming in the first place.
Wen Shu gazed out at the rapidly passing scenery, her eyes deep in thought.
The hand resting on her lap ward, and Wen Shu snapped back to reality. She instinctively thought about withdrawing her hand but then realized who was holding it and decided against it.
