Wen Qiao put away her phone and lifted her chin haughtily towards Jiang Yao, "You don’t understand. Everyone thinks we have no connection, but I am actually the person here with the closest relationship to him. This kind of secretive contact is the most tantalizing, right?"

She really didn’t understand.
After dealing with Qin Xiang, Lin Ruochun squeezed out of the crowd, ca up beside Wen Qiao, and said in a lowered voice, "Why are you still standing here? Hurry up and see him off. Look at Jiang Wei; she’s so eager she might as well climb into the car and leave with Brother Jinghen. How can you remain so indifferent?"
"She can dream on about getting into the car." Wen Qiao shrugged indifferently. "Besides, we’re secretly married; it’s not good for to send him off."
And to think, on her first day on set, Fu Jinghen didn’t see her off, so she certainly wasn’t going to see off Fu Jinghen.
Seeing her nonchalant deanor and then glancing at Jiang Wei, who was eager to the point of agitation, Lin Ruochun beca anxious and stomped her foot. She reached out to tug at Wen Qiao, nearly dragging her away, her mouth agape as if about to shout. But Wen Qiao, perceptive of her intentions, spoke first, calmly saying, "Don’t forget your little secret is still in my hands. Try shouting out; see what happens?"

Lin Ruochun imdiately clamped her mouth shut and released Wen Qiao’s clothes, even smoothing them out as she apologized, "Sorry, that was presumptuous of ."

Wen Qiao’s eyes crinkled with a smile as she patted Lin Ruochun’s hair. "Let’s go back and review the script. Whether they’ve co or gone, we have a drama to shoot."
Lin Ruochun nodded and followed Wen Qiao and Jiang Yao away.

The black business car gradually picked up speed, turning the crowd into a re dot in the rearview mirror. Propping his legs up, Qin Xiang settled into his seat and remarked in wonder, "I still can’t believe you personally ca down to Hang City to do business just to take a glance at Wen Qiao."
"Who said I’m here to see her."
A cool voice rose in the car, prompting the driver in front to involuntarily straighten up, though Qin Xiang remained as unflappable as ever, showing no fear whatsoever.
"Not? Do you think I’d believe that? Feng Li said that you had abandoned this partnership, yet you picked it up again suddenly. Wasn’t it just to find an excuse to co here and take a look?" Qin Xiang looked at Fu Jinghen teasingly. "President Fu, your roundabout way of thinking sure is costly."
Fu Jinghen looked at Qin Xiang expressionlessly, "Say one more word, and you’re out of here."
His eyes, dark as ink, were as inscrutable as an ancient well. It could be quite intimidating to be on the receiving end of his cold stare, and of the two people Mr. Qin feared the most, one was his brother and the other was Fu Jinghen.
With that look from him, Qin Xiang’s sardonic expression diminished a bit, "Alright, if you say it’s not, then it’s not."
Fu Jinghen then withdrew his gaze and closed his eyes to rest.
Although he didn’t like to admit it, the Hang City partnership was indeed sothing he had initially given up on.
The partnership wasn’t likely to lose money, but it also wouldn’t bring any significant benefits to FS.
In the years since Fu Jinghen took over FS Group, ard with his formidable skills and his unique insights into capital operation, he took FS up more than a notch. And soone whose standards couldn’t be higher was him.
He usually wouldn’t bother with such a lackluster deal.
Yet he gave the partners a chance.
Part of the reason was indeed the desire to see how Wen Qiao was doing.
