The little girl really had a way with logic.

Fu Jinghen silently curved the corner of his mouth, tossing his suit and tie aside as he cautioned, "I’m going to shower, you play by yourself for a while."

At these words, Wen Qiao’s eyes involuntarily lit up but then she suppressed them, saying obediently, "Okay, you go."

Fu Jinghen didn’t miss this small action; he stared at Wen Qiao for a while before stepping forward, bending over, and eting her gaze at eye level.

Wen Qiao felt a surge of panic inside, but still locked eyes with Fu Jinghen and asked softly, "What’s wrong?"

Wen Qiao unconsciously licked her lips as she had just eaten a candy, the milky sweetness of the White Rabbit candy still faintly discernible as she spoke.

Fu Jinghen’s gaze flickered, then he raised his hand and reached out toward Wen Qiao’s cheek.

The movent was at a perfectly normal speed, but in Wen Qiao’s eyes, it seed to move in slow motion.

Her heartbeat unconsciously quickened as her eyes darted back and forth between Fu Jinghen’s eyes and his approaching hand; just when she was almost dizzy with anticipation, she suddenly felt a void before her, and that strand of hair was hooked behind her ear.

The man’s fingertips, rough with thin callouses, grazed Wen Qiao’s ear, a tingly feeling that made her involuntarily tilt her head.

"Don’t run around, be good."

After saying that, Fu Jinghen straightened up, gave her head a light pat, then turned and walked towards the bathroom.

Once the man’s tall figure had disappeared behind the door, Wen Qiao finally snapped back to reality, rolled around on the bed, and wriggled out of the covers.

She touched her ear that Fu Jinghen had just brushed, pursed her lips, put on her shoes and a mask, and dashed out.

Not running around was out of the question.

If she wasn’t going to have a drink, what was the point of coming to the top floor?

Qin Xiang stepped out of his room and imdiately caught sight of a bright yellow figure bouncing away and disappearing around the corner.

He walked to the next room, curled his fingers, and knocked twice, waiting a mont without getting an answer.

He raised an eyebrow, his intuition telling him that the flashy yellow figure was definitely Wen Qiao, the sa one who had been strutting around in the elevator just now.

And surely, this restless one had sneaked out while Fu Jinghen was in the shower.

With the intention of checking on her on behalf of Fu Jinghen, to make sure she didn’t cause any trouble, Qin Xiang followed after her.

He swore, it wasn’t out of curiosity.

Five minutes later, Qin Xiang glanced at a small wooden sign hanging nearby that said "mbers Only Beyond This Point," took out his phone, and recorded a video for Fu Jinghen.

[Rich as Croesus Mr. Qin: Don’t say I don’t have you in my heart, bro, but your troubleso fiancée has run in here. Finish your shower and co catch her.]

After sending the ssage, Qin Xiang pocketed his phone and walked in.

Yingcheng Hotel was situated within the country’s largest film and television city, attracting a diverse crowd, so the top-floor bar was open exclusively to mbers. However, the place was still bustling, with rich second-generation kids likely calling in so minor stars for company.

Looking around, the booths were almost all occupied.

To avoid being spotted by Wen Qiao, Qin Xiang kept a distance from her as he entered, quickly scanning the room and imdiately spotting the yellow bundle beside the bar.

But there was also a man sitting next to this yellow bundle.

The two were cheerfully tossing dice.
