My SuperVillain System: Building Legion of SSS-Ranked SuperHeroines Chapter 117 - Sugar realizes Nano has past life memories
The realization punched her chest hollow. She staggered back a step, eyes locked on the screen as the intruders advanced down the corridor leading to her sanctuary.
And then—she moved.
Fast.
She bolted toward the east wall, slamming her palm against a hidden panel. A section of the wall hissed open, revealing a narrow tunnel lined with carbon sh.
She dove in headfirst, crawling through the crawlspace as fast as her body would allow.
Her breath ca in sharp gasps. Pupils trembled. Eyes darted like a cornered animal.
’How?!’
’How did they find ?!’
’Why now?!’
She reached the ergency chamber—a room no larger than a prison cell, lined with a suit she’d spent months building.
It hung on a rack like a soldier awaiting deploynt: high-tech, armored plating fused with cybernetic sh, gauntlets ard with taser prongs, shoulder guards rigged to deflect standard rounds, a shield generator on the left arm, and a compact RPG launcher clipped to the back.
She suited up in seconds.
The helt hissed into place. Power surged through the suit, and her HUD lit up with vitals, GPS scrambling, and escape route overlays. With one final glance toward the direction of the base breach, she grit her teeth.
No ti to look back.
The hidden exit hatch at the end of the room hissed open, revealing a long tunnel that led upward—toward a disguised outcropping in the desert.
She grabbed her bike, a sleek black hoverbike powered by hybrid fuel and stealth coatings. It roared to life as she mounted it, tires kicking sand in every direction as she launched forward.
VROOOOOM
She tore through the narrow exit tunnel, bursting out into the cold, moonlit desert.
Her hoodie flapped behind her, the sand slicing across her helt like knives, and the bunker behind her now just a fading speck swallowed by the night.
’N-no, how can soone know location of my place... impossible,’ she hissed before looking back, accelerating her bike, clearly not understanding how it was possible.
---
’How can they have those vehicles!? Are they from A-1 military!?’
The engine roared beneath her thighs, wheels tearing across the desert like hellhounds at her heels.
Dust blinded her vision, sweat dripped into her eyes, and every heartbeat echoed with dread.
Behind her, the black armored vehicle didn’t stop. It hunted—steady, chanical, relentless.
A high-pitched beep scread in her helt.
[Target Lock Acquired.]
"Shit—no, no—"
She veered left. Too late.
KRA-KOOM!
A missile exploded just to her right. The force flung her sideways, her bike scraping across a dune’s slope as she gritted her teeth and barely held on.
"You want that bad, huh?" she growled, blood leaking from the corner of her mouth. Her voice cracked from days without water. "Bastards..."
She swerved, pulled the RPG off her back, fired blindly over her shoulder—
BOOM.
One drone spiraled into fire.
But the second drone zipped past it, fast as a wasp. Gunfire crackled. Two rounds slamd into her left shoulder.
"Aghhh—!" The pain made her vision blur. Her hand spasd on the throttle.
She lost control.
The bike flipped.
CRASH—!!
She rolled, tal armor scraping across the ground, shoulder shattered, helt cracking in two.
The world spun violently. Dirt filled her mouth. She gasped, coughing blood into her mask.
Then—boots.
Rough hands.
Two n in black ops gear grabbed her arms, yanking her up like she weighed nothing.
"Target secured."
"She’s bleeding bad. Arrange first aid, we need to bring her alive or else commander will kill us."
She struggled. Kicked once—useless. Her legs wouldn’t respond. Her body was giving up.
"No... no no no..." she whimpered.
They dragged her toward the armored jeep behind them.
Then—
BOOOOOOOM
A thunderclap tore the sky.
CRACK—!!
tal scread. Sand blasted outward.
Sothing crashed down like a missile—on top of the armored vehicle.
The whole thing crumpled like a soda can, engulfed in flas. One of the n dragging her was thrown like a ragdoll. The other fell to his knees, blinded by the smoke.
From the debris... she landed.
Purple-haired. Cloaked in smoke. Surrounded by an aura of violet sparks.
The woman stood amidst the wreckage like a god descending from orbit. Her boots stepped off the crumpled vehicle. Her eyes glowed with ferocity.
"Are you the girl nad Nano who killed so many people?" Ytrisia muttered, voice cold as the night wind. As given the information from Cruxius, she was sent here to catch the sa woman who was responsible for the drone hijack attacks that happened in Syria and other countries costing a large number of deaths.
The soldier tried to raise his gun.
WHAM
She moved like lightning. A single punch crushed his rifle—and his jaw.
Nano, still lying half-conscious on the ground, blinked in disbelief.
"Wh... who the hell..."
Before she could finish, the air rippled above her.
A sound like tearing silk followed—A kind of energy, more like a portal, just passed through her body before she felt her hand disappearing then legs before her whole body disappeared within the portal, more likely found herself transitioning from where she was to the other place just few miles away from there.
"Huh?!" Nano fell forward, her body trembled, but soon enough she composed herself before looking around, finding herself on the ground.
She then saw a pair of feet in low heels, decent jeans, and a t-shirt as she slowly lifted her gaze and found a woman standing while looking down at her.
"It’s nice eting you again, Nano," Sugar greeted, looking towards the woman below with the hoodie, short hair and a petite body, observing.
She saw the clear widening of her gaze, the expression showing a visible shock which made her super narrow her eyes as she seed to just confirm one of her doubts.
It was officially announced by the Villain Syndicate that they were behind the drone hijack and malfunctioning of the Blac Corporation.
Given Sugar’s past life mories, she was aware of that particular person who was capable of pulling such a huge stunt. And given aligning the puzzles, it was natural that Nano would have no reason for doing so.
And the only reason Sugar could think of motivating Nano to take such a vital step:
"So, Nano, you do have your past life mories, didn’t you?"
’!?!’
