In the past, humanity faced several attacks in a row from the second world. Thousands of monsters that exterminated and killed civilians, hordes of colossal giants that destroyed buildings, and dragons that turned entire cities into dust. All this happened after the two worlds were connected.
Centuries ago, the world was untouched by magic. Until suddenly, everyone had access to this blessing. In the beginning, using these powers was difficult and costly. People were born with one ability or another and stayed with it; over ti, scholars began to understand the workings of mana logic, channeling and transforming magic into what is known today.
In the years following the ergence of mana and magic, elves, dwarves, and half-beasts began to be born naturally around the world. Then, with a better understanding of mana, world hunger was exterminated, as magic could be used for food production.
Houses could be built in seconds with earth magics, and even the most arid deserts could have gigantic rivers with the power of a good water mage. The world quickly transford to a better place, and just when everyone thought the worldly challenges and fears were over, portals began to appear.
Every day, connections to a different land appeared. Green, red, purple and black portals led to different and unrecognizable places. Flying islands, lava seas, colossal forests, crystal paradises and ice cliffs. When a portal remained open long enough, the monsters within it began to co out, but by exterminating a creature, for the first ti an individual could feel human evolution happening.
