A twenty-second counter appeared on top of the arena. The numbers were spinning, as they alternated with the passing of ti, that gigantic golden hologram must have been around four ters long.

The numbers continued to decrease, while a silence remained in the audience. Confused, everyone began to comnt on what was happening.
"He's going to drown like that"
"Isn't it better to decide that the fight is over?"
"I hope he's already dead"
"How cruel"
But when the counter hit fourteen seconds, Ethan resurfaced. Being lifted by the waters of that lake, he was carried up into the sky, his eyes were glowing with an intense white light because of the gigantic amount of energy he was using.
Extending his hands, he launched hundreds of ice needles towards Ryan, who had no option but to receive the attacks. His aura of flas was increasing, preventing the ice from reaching his skin, yet so fragnts managed to cut through Whitemane's clothes and face.
Again, Ethan spat out blood. This ti, he created five different magic circles. All were drawn with that red liquid, which increased the intensity and improved his mana handling. All the water on the bridge was turned to ice, making walking across the concrete walkway a much more complicated task. Even with the aura of fire, Ryan's feet were still slipping as he walked.
'He won't be able to keep that spell up for long' he thought. Closing his eyes, Ryan increased the concentration of his energy, causing the fire to beco more intense than Ethan's spell. Thus he was able to lt the ice again with ease.
The magic circles moved from position, while one of the circles remained at Ethan's side, the other four remained stationary, in front of Ryan. One on his right, one on his left, one on his back, and one in front of him. It was like a box of magic.
Raising his golden sword again, Ryan turned his back and threw the sword like a dart. Destroying one of the magic circles. 'I shouldn't go near it, but fuck it' he thought.
Within seconds, Ryan disappeared and reappeared in front of Ethan. With one of his hands, he grabbed his head, and activating his Healing Hands ability, Ryan caused the blood in his mouth to beco stanched. The healing was so intense that Ethan could no longer open his mouth, as all the blood had turned into a tough solid form.
Struggling, he grabbed Ryan's arm. "Shit" he said aloud.
'Laila had warned to avoid his hands'
With a single touch, Ryan felt his arm being completely weakened. It was as if all the strength he had was gone in a single instant. Releasing Ethan's head, he fell to the ground immobilized.
His heart had stopped pumping blood. Even with his mouth immobilized, Ethan's gaze was clearly psychotic, it was as if he was smiling as he watched his confused and breathless opponent.
'He's a blood mage... I didn't think he could'
Ryan's whole body began to catch fire, activating his demonic form, he regained control of his own body. "I guess you can't control my blood that way" he said, laughing still on the ground. Standing up with so difficulty, Ryan reached out one of his hands, and moving his arm, caused black flas to spread across the entire arena.
The fire cut through the water that was levitating Ethan, but with a wave of his hand, he activated the four remaining magic circles. Several ice spikes appeared between the bridge, breaking the concrete structure as they tried to hit Ryan.
But with ease, he dodged the attacks. 'I'm not having much energy'
