Yoru pounced on Kurou right after snarling at him.
He was in kitten form, so there wasnt much impact, but if he were bigger, Kurou would not have been able to avoid it so beautifully.

If youre going to look into it, you need to first investigate the guildmaster Linga and his younger brother Sena.

Linga, when that guy was talking to the adventurers in front of the guild, he said We will not allow the demons to defile our town. I dont think that the other adventurers noticed since they were tense due to the outbreak of war, but at that ti, not a single demon had appeared yet.
Sena, who didnt seem to have any reaction to that, was also sowhat suspicious.
If you thought about it rationally, you wouldnt send yellow or red ranked adventurers to the front lines, would you?
There were many powerful beastn, there was a silver ranked adventurer party there as well.
At that ti, the response had already been delayed, and there were quite a number of monsters that appeared in the town.
If it were , I would have the highest ranked adventurers such as the silver ranked ones get rid of the high level monsters and then have the red and yellow adventurers focus on the other monsters.
At that point in ti, the entrance to the dungeon had already collapsed, so even if you reinforced it, the monsters would still erge.
If that was the case, then it would be much more efficient to not bother with it and dispatch the adventurers to the areas where evacuation was delayed to exterminate the monsters.

its very likely that Linga is the mastermind. The deploynt of the adventurers was entirely done by that guy, the guildmaster. Thats why, even if the evacuation of the village near Kurous house was delayed, he was able to do sothing like not dispatch the adventurers there. Even if it was investigated in the future, he would be able to make excuses like the chain of command was chaotic.
Yoru frowned, as the true aning of my words was difficult to comprehend.
As for Kurou, he was making a face as if he had swallowed sothing bitter.

if its guildmaster Linga, its also possible for him to anticipate that Alia would assist the civilians who were unable to evacuate, and persuade her to join the battle.
There were others who couldve done it.
Of course, there were people who ran all over the place, serving as ssengers.
However, for that guy to do sothing like that, it was too risky.
