Chapter 151: Dark Psionic Crystal, Stellar Lifeform
He had been extrely weak before, so when he could once again absorb Gene Arcana, Ling Jiu tossed everything aside and started to absorb.
As his mind cleared up, Ling Jiu beca aware of the difference.
The Gene Arcana he had absorbed was significantly denser, more condensed, and purer.

Once the Dark Bio-energy spread from the dark universe to the bright universe, the effect of energy-level attenuation would cause its power and effects to be greatly diminished.
It could be visually understood as a downgrade from high energy to low energy.
The previously absorbed Gene Arcana had all been downgraded ones, and in the present, he had absorbed the purest of Dark Bio-energy. Hence, it felt very different.
9527 laughed. “Whether it is to strengthen your body or the power of your Arcana, the power of the Dark Bio-energy is far, far more powerful than the degraded Gene Arcana. There’s probably a difference of... about 10 tis.”

“I’m quite pleased with this!”
Ling Jiu nodded, and even without any further rewards, this alone was enough to satisfy him.
“Moving on, every lifeform is made out of flesh and soul just like an artificial intelligent form is made out of both software and hardware systems.”
9527 continued, “As a proper warrior of the Essian Civilization, you should not have any obvious shortcomings. So, your flesh and soul cannot fall behind, hence the ascension of both is king!
“As such, your second reward is a Dark Psionic Crystal to strengthen your soul!”
Ling Jiu’s eyes lit up!
The soul...
It was a mystical realm!
There were many ways to strengthen the body on Earth, but there were only two thods to strengthen one’s soul. One was to obtain treasures of heaven and earth that strengthened the soul.
The other was to raise the body and soul as a whole. When a body ascended, the soul would as well, so only by strengthening one’s body would the soul also see ascension.
The forr was unlikely because there were just too few treasures, while the latter was too inefficient. Neither thod was clearly a good idea.
9527 laughed. “As I’ve said before, the soul is made out of Dark Psions.
“However, compared with Dark Bio-energy, the amount of Dark Psions it has is far lesser!
“Unless you beco a higher lifeform, you will never be able to absorb Dark Psions.
“This ans that a planetary lifeform like you will never be able to ingest Dark Psions and lift your soul for ascension.
“Given the situation, I will specially reward you with a Dark Psionic Crystal. Once you have completely absorbed this crystal, the strength of your soul can be comparable to that of a Stellar Lifeform.”
“A Stellar Lifeform?”
Ling Jiu was confused.
“You have passed the assessnt and beco a mber of the Essian Civilization, so you have the authorization to know about this!”
9527 smiled. “The universe is vast and infinite. It has given birth to countless lives and is subdivided into various species, as well as categories, the sa way it is on Earth.
“Life in the universe is similarly divided into many levels, and the lowest and weakest of them all are... the Planetary Lifeforms!”
“Planetary Lifeforms, as the na suggests, can only survive on their mother planet and cannot leave the planet, or else, they will die.
“So, a Planetary Lifeform is weak and belongs to the bottommost existence in the universe. The flora and fauna, the common people, and even a powerful Arcanist like you on Earth, belong to the weakest Planetary Lifeform category.”

“You’ve also seen for yourself that even between Planetary Lifeforms, they are divided into levels. Generally, Planetary Lifeforms are divided into ten different orders. With zeroth being the weakest and ninth the strongest. You are a Level 6 Arcanist, so you belong to the Sixth Order of Planetary Lifeforms.”

Ling Jiu took a deep breath.
“Above a Planetary Lifeform is a Stellar Lifeform. In the words of Earthlings, an existence like a Level 10 Arcanist and above is a Stellar Lifeform.”
9527 explained, “By becoming a Stellar Lifeform, you can break out of the shackles of your mother planet like those man-made satellites and go into outer space!
“When that ti cos, no matter how harsh the environnt in outer space is, it will not be able to threaten the safety of a Stellar Lifeform.”
“As long as the Stellar Lifeform wants to, they can travel around their mother planet, similar to a man-made satellite orbiting the Earth, or they can even walk on the moon!
“If they really want to, they can even wander farther away. The only problem is that if it’s too far away, it might take a very long ti!”
Ling Jiu was sowhat shocked. “Is a Stellar Lifeform that powerful?”
“For a being that is able to escape the shackles of one’s mother planet, being strong cos naturally.
“In fact, for an elentary civilization or an even more primitive civilization, a Stellar Lifeform is almost no different from a god!”
9527 suddenly said, “Speaking of which, a Stellar Lifeform appeared on this planet the other day. He’s called Emperor Might or sothing. That person is quite strong, and according to the energy signatures I observed, he is at least a Sixth-Order Stellar Lifeform.”

“To you Earthlings, a Stellar Lifeform is indeed powerful, but to us Essians, a Stellar Lifeform is rely a toddler!”
9527 smiled faintly. “Also, don’t think it’s easy to absorb Dark Bio-energy from the dark universe.
“In the absence of elentary training and certain talents, even a more advanced lifeform may not be able to master it, much less a Stellar Lifeform.”
“In actuality, many primitive civilizations have given enough to many powerful Stellar Lifeforms or even other higher lifeforms. Nonetheless, they have not mastered the correct thod of absorbing Dark Bio-energy.”

“The most significant difference between a higher civilization and a lower civilization is not the developnt of weapons and the strength of arms, but it is a richer reserve of knowledge, more advanced technology, and more mature ideology.”
9527 continued to smile faintly. “Let’s talk about the third reward then. As an Essian warrior, an Essian Battle Suit is a standard-issue!”
