Ling Jiu was stunned.
How could the universal laws be written in books?
However, that seemed to be understandable upon thinking about it.
Were the knowledge taught in the textbooks of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and others on the earth not the universal laws?
"Unlike your textbooks on Earth, the universal laws recorded in the books of our Emissian civilization are much more plicated and profound," Leoux said. "Starting from the Level-One, stellar books to the higher-level, galactic books, to the even higher-level Super-cl.u.s.tered books contain the universal laws that should be understood at this level. Of course, it is also divided into different categories of books, such as dimensions, speed, energy, metal, life, and soul."
Ling Jiu's breathing turned rapid, his eyes brightening up. "Where are these books, Leoux? I really want to read them."
"Before answering your question, I have a question for you," Leoux said. "Have you decided which law to study, Ling Jiu?"
"Which law?" Ling Jiu was taken aback. He had not thought about this question. After all, he had just bee a stellar life form and e into contact with the universal laws.
But if he had to choose, he would probably choose the law of dimensions.
"What are the universal laws?" Ling Jiu asked after thinking for a while.
"There are so many universal laws—so many that you will not even realize they exist."
Leoux said. "They are like the sand on the beach and the stars in the sky. But among all the universal laws, there are about three thousand of them most thoroughly studied by intelligent life."
"Three thousand?" Ling Jiu was startled.
"Yup. Three thousand." Leoux nodded. "In fact, the major immortal divine-level civilizations have a universal law prehension list, which records the three thousand laws with the highest prehension frequency. This is one example of such a list. Take a look."
Two rays of blood-red light flashed in his eyes as soon as Leoux's voice trailed off. The lights intertwined to form a bloody light curtain in the air.
Ling Jiu quickly took a look.
The prehension List of the Universal Laws:
No 1: The Law of Force
No 2: The Law of Metal
No 4: The Law of Fire
No 5: The Law of speed
...
Since there were 3,000 rules on the list, Ling Jiu just briefly browsed through them. He had no word for it when he found that the law of dimensions that he was interested in was at the bottom of the list.
"Why is the law of dimensions ranked so low, Leoux? Isn't it powerful enough?"
"I think you are confused by the prehension list of universal laws, Ling Jiu." Leoux laughed. "The list only records 3,000 laws with the highest prehension frequency. What does it mean? It is a list of the laws prehended by the greatest number of people. It has nothing to do with how powerful a law is."
"No wonder."
"In fact, this is the same as the novel websites on Earth. Novel websites have many ranking lists, such as collection lists, and monthly ticket lists. The universal law prehension list only represents the frequency and number of prehensions, not the strength of the laws." Leoux shook his head with a smile.
"But doesn't the universal laws prehension list can also reflect the strength of a law in some ways?" Ling Jiu asked with a frown.
"Definitely." Leoux nodded. "Generally, everyone will choose the most powerful law to prehend, because the more powerful the law, the stronger the bat effectiveness."
Ling Jiu nodded. It was only normal that people wanted the best for themselves.
"But prehending the universal laws is not something you can achieve at will. It has also something to do with talents. For example, if you have a talent for the law of dimensions, you will find it relatively easy to prehend and often get twice the result with half the effort," Leoux said. "If one does not have a talent for the law of dimensions, that person will only find that the result does not mensurate with his effort, no matter how hard he tries."
"It has to do with talent." Ling Jiu nodded again.
"Everyone wants to prehend the most powerful law, but if one does not have a certain talent, it will be an empty talk. He is limited by his talent," Leoux said. "Of course, prehending the universal laws has something to do with its level of difficulty, too. Often, the more powerful a universal law is, the more profound and plex it is, and the more difficult it is to prehend it. Take the law of dimensions as an example. Why does the law of dimensions rank so low on the universal laws prehension list?"
That's because it is too difficult to understand. Coupled with the fact that few people possess the talent for dimensions, so few could prehend the law of dimensions, and so its ranking is naturally low.
"That makes sense now," Ling Jiu said.
"Look at the list again," Leoux said. As a blood-red light flashed in Leoux's eyes, Ling Jiu saw the list on the light curtain changing.
The Difficult List of the Universal Laws:
No 1: The Law of Time
No 3: The Law of Force
No 4: The Law of Life
No 5: The Law of Creation
...
"The law of time is the first while the law of dimensions is the second?"
Ling Jiu looked at the difficulty list of universal laws.
"The law of time is the most difficult to prehend of all the universal laws because it is so profound. Besides, few people have the talent for the law of time. So in the entire universe, no one has fully understood the law of time," Leoux said. "The law of dimensions, second only to the law of time, is also very difficult to prehend."
Ling Jiu nodded, his eyes landing on the third-ranked law of force. "The law of force ranks third on the list of difficulty, but first on the prehension list. It is pretty popular, eh?"
"The law of force, in fact, is just a general term," Leoux said. "There are many types of force, such as destructive force, elastic force, resistance, electromagnetic force, and gravity. The ranking here is only an integrated ranking after a prehensive evaluation."
"Interesting." Ling Jiu nodded.
"Let me show you another list."
Leoux took out another list, and Ling Jiu glanced at it.
The Power List of the Universal Laws
No 1: The Law of Time
No 2: The Law of Dimensions
No 3: The Law of Destruction
No 4: The Law of Force
No 5: The Law of Creation
...
"See this list? You can pare it with the previous two lists," Leoux said. "In terms of power, the laws of time and dimensions are recognized as powerful, but why are so few people prehending them? It is because they are hard to prehend."
"Really?"
"Yup," Leoux said. "As of now, the law of time has never been fully understood by people, and there are only a handful of them who fully understand the law of dimensions."
"Can I prehend the laws of time and dimensions?" Ling Jiu was an eager beaver now.
"Maybe not the law of time." Leoux poured cold water over his idea. "Countless immortal god-level civilizations tried to understand the plete law of time, but none of them succeeded so far. So people have gradually realized that humans cannot possibly master the law of time."
"You may prehend the law of dimensions. As you possess a Dimensional Arcana, you can open up wormholes, and have a unique talent for the law of dimensions."
Leoux looked at Ling Jiu. "So I strongly remend that you prehend the law of dimensions. When you have mastered the law of dimensions, you will be at least an overlord of part of the universe."
"Of course, the law of dimensions is on my bucket list. But the law of time also looks tempting—it is the number one universal law." Ling Jiu licked his lips.
"Don't be too greedy." Leoux exhorted. "People have limited energy and life span. You must make good use of your limited time to reach a higher level. Half-heartedness is a waste of time and you will eventually go nowhere."
Ling Jiu frowned. "How long does each realm correspond to, Leoux?"
"Generally, the life spans of different species vary. But even if there are differences, they would not be too big," Leoux said. "The lifespan of planetary beings is about a hundred years. Some may live longer, over a hundred years, but that is just about it.
"Stellar beings live about a thousand years, galactic beings about ten thousand years, super-cl.u.s.tered beings about one hundred thousand years, perfect three-dimensional beings about one million years, and cosmic beings about ten million years."
Stellar beings can live for a thousand years? Ling Jiu thought to himself. I have replicated the Anti-Aging arcana and could live eight hundred or a thousand years longer.
"See that? pared with the planets that are billions of years old, we are really short-lived," Leoux said. "So if you want to reach a higher level, you must not waste even the slightest time, as you simply don't have enough time."
"Now I know." Ling Jiu took a deep breath.
"Glad that you know." Leoux was happy with his reply. A black disc appeared in its hand with the flip of its hand.
"This is a book about the stellar-class law of dimensions. It records the law of dimensions and the application of other laws that you need to understand in the stellar-class realm."
"I hope you can make good use of your time, strive to understand this part of the law of dimensions and achieve a higher level before the end of life."
"Don't worry, I will finish prehending it as soon as possible," Ling Jiu said.
"As soon as possible?" Leoux shook its head. "I would be most thankful if you could prehend this part of the law in 1,000 years."
"You are underestimating me." Ling Jiu's mouth twitched. He would not argue with Leoux since he had never prehended the law of dimensions before and did not know the difficulty of it. He could not refute it, but he had confidence in himself.
"This is the first thing," Leoux said. "Now I will talk about the second thing."
"The second thing?" Ling Jiu was taken aback.
"I said before, after being a stellar being, self-cultivation mainly prises two aspects. Do you remember?" Leoux asked.
"Of course, I do." Ling Jiu nodded. "The acc.u.mulation of dark bio-energy and the prehension of the universal laws."
"I just explained the prehension of the universal laws. Now I will delve into the acc.u.mulation of dark bio-energy," Leoux said. "Stellar beings have to condense new cores continuously and eventually a stellar system will evolve in the elixir field, right?"
"Yup." Ling Jiu nodded.
"How do you plan to condense a core and what kind of stellar system you will evolve?" Leoux asked.
"I have read the experience of many seniors before me. Most of them try to evolve a stellar system based on the solar system model."
Many big guys on Earth did the same, using the solar system as a template to condense the eight planets and their major moons.
"It is certainly possible to evolve based on the solar system model. In fact, many stellar beings in primitive and lower civilizations evolve into the parent star system where they are." Leoux nodded first and then changed the conversation. "But the stellar beings that evolved this stellar system are not perfect but just ordinary stellar beings."
"Perfect stellar beings?" Ling Jiu was stunned. "What do you mean?"
"Let me ask you, what is the purpose of evolving a stellar system in the elixir field?" Leoux asked back.
"Purpose?"
Ling Jiu frowned. "What else if not…"
