[In your current predicant, the only thing you can do is sit and watch.] The system said in a serious tone as it analyzed the ethereal sphere above.
The system knew very well that the battles between demigods weren't on the sa level as that of re mortals. If protective asures weren't put in place, their clash could level the entire slums and even more, and knowing this fact the system began analyzing the ethereal sphere to see how strong it was.
Their observation so far was that as the mission progressed the more chaotic it beca. The fight between the demigods was signaling the climax and if nothing else happens and they managed to pull through this stage everything will be over.
But the problem was, could they pull through this especially with Blake being trapped in the sa spot.
[Interesting…] The system said in a reminiscing tone.
'Did you find a way to get us out of here?' Blake's eyes glowed when he heard the words of the system.
[No. Like I said, all we can do is sit back and watch…]
'If not my safety what else can be 'interesting' at such a ti?' Blake asked with a raised brow, He couldn't believe how carefree the system was.
[I know you are wondering why I sound like I don't give a damn? The truth is that, we are too weak and can't do anything in this situation and to be frank with you, I am tired of worrying about sothing I can't change. So, like I said sit back and watch.] The system's words stunned Blake for a second.
'So, what piqued your interest?' Blake asked.
The system was undoubtedly right and it made him realize that since he couldn't change their current predicant it was pointless worrying, so he decided to leave himself in the hands of faith.
[You know, when I first saw the cube artifact it reminded of a legendary rank item, but I quickly eliminated that line of thought because it was impossible for soone like your hirer to wield such an artifact.
Even when the blonde demigod activated the cube I wasn't fully convinced, but the mont he manipulated space created a dinsion I was totally convinced.]
'A legendary grade artifact?!' Blake was stunned by the revelation.
['Supposedly... The truth is that no one has ever seen the artifact and that includes , the little I know about it, was knowledge from legends and hasn't been confird yet, but seeing it wasn't what piqued my interest.]
[The artifact is called Horix cube and is said to have many mind-blowing abilities that cut across the different elents. From what I have heard so far it seems the Horix cube is incomplete, but the fact that it is able to split into rings ans everyone had been searching for the wrong thing all along!] The system explained in an ecstatic tone.
'Are you saying you are ant to be looking for rings, doesn't that make the search way more difficult?' Blake asked with a raised brow.
[Well, you may be right, but the thing is that I am not even sure the missing parts would be rings. It could be a sword, gauntlet, anything. The only way to be sure is to bring a second part and check if they react to each other.] The system explained.
'That ans I could even be with a part of it and I wouldn't have an Idea?' Blake's thoughts began drifting away.
[Don't even dream of it. If you were to be in possession of 1 of the missing parts, not only will it be top-level epic grade artifacts or even legendary grade, the range of the so-called reaction could even be that of a city.
So, if you are to be with one of them, you would have clearly felt a reaction by being so close to it in the carriage.] The system quickly shattered Blake's reverie before he drifted too far.

5 minutes after the sphere was ford, the fight inside the ethereal sphere was at its climax. The power display of both demigods was so great that the walls of the dinsion created by Horix cube began cracking, sending shockwaves of their powers through the barrier and affecting the environnt.
In just a few seconds the weather had gone berserk. The mid-day sky had turned dark, arcs of lightning shot through the sky and into the streets, breaking apart buildings and destroying anything that was in its path.
'What is going on?! Don't tell an angel decided to join the fray?' Seeing the berserk Blake was gripped by fear. The last ti sothing like this happened a demigod appeared and he almost suffocated.
[The Horix cube isn't complete and just as I suspected, the dinsion wouldn't be able to handle the power of 2 perfect demigods causing the shockwave to leak into the real world!] The system explained as it began analyzing the situation.
'So much for a D rank mission...' Blake cursed his bad luck as the wind suddenly went wild, tossing unrooted objects except for them all over the area at high speeds.

'Holy shit!' Brian almost peed his pants when a carriage zood past him, missing him by only a ter.
'Fuck ! Give your view and prepare the barrier in case of surprises.' Blake began issuing commands when he saw how chaotic things had beco in a matter of seconds.
The situation wasn't favorable for Blake. The fire and lightning elents weren't effective when blocking projectiles moving at such speeds, and with his inability to dodge incoming objects his options were limited leaving him with the space elent and the system's in-built barrier.
[Watch out!] The system quickly alerted Blake when it sensed a lightning bolt coming straight for him.
'Shit!' Using the systems view, Blake quickly focused on the spot above him, imdiately freezing it and activating the systems barrier.
