And, of course, the Sun and Dragon Clans received their pardon, and the new tri-state hidden country will be responsible for keeping them in check.
The news reached the Blood Clan, and Francis put forth his sche into motion behind Azzy's back.
anwhile, Azzy called for a private eting with the two clan heads that put up rather an interesting but sa demand, as if they had discussed it beforehand. Coincidentally, these two are the sa ones who personally attended his ascension ceremony and both of them wanted a marriage alliance with the Death Clan.
He didn't have a one-on-one eting with either of them but instead had a direct eting with two of them with their respective clan heirs involved too.
As the room was covered by the noise cancellation barrier and everyone sat down with the Elf clan heir, Neyryn's cousin seed to be the one who looked disinterested, Azzy brought up the topic right away.
The first thing that ca out of his mouth as soon as they were seated was, "Alright, be honest, those demands you brought up. Was it done on a whim or a carefully planned thought?"
A brief silence filled the room before Neyryn opened his mouth, "To be honest, we were having thoughts about mingling with human society for a while but never knew how to proceed until you claid that you could actually move the pocket dinsions and even rge them." He then took a pause for a mont and then asked, "Are you sure that you can do it?"
Azzy gave a subtle nod, "Yes. However, I'm not sure whether it hurt the people if they were inside. So, I recomnd that everyone residing in your pocket dinsion stay in the material world before I proceed with it. The process will take just as much ti as traveling."
Shuichi then spoke, "Fine, Azrael, since you are hellbent on being straightforward, we'll do your way. First, I took the decision on the spot after listening to Neyryn here. Secondly, we actually had another demand but I couldn't say it aloud in front of other clan heads and sha our clan's reputation. To be honest, we aren't interested in those cores at all."
"Not cores? Then, what is it that you want?" Azzy was curious, although worried about his assumption.
Shuichi looked at him and answered, "Forget about the fact that you carry one of the strongest bloodlines in this world, but you currently hold the power stronger than our entire clan. Based on the propositions you put forth during the eting and the decisions you have taken so far within your clan, you will transform this world, Azrael.
Moreover, you are still young and already a Supre Being. Your imdiate descendants will probably shape the future. And since you intend to pass your throne to your sister anyway, I would want you to marry my great-great-great-great-grandniece, but not as your first marriage, though."
What Shuichi has pointed out is completely logical. Usually, when an Arcana Master of the human race crosses 200 years, their testosterone levels will start dropping regardless of their strength, and by 1000 years of age, they entirely lose the ability to give birth to children.
And the higher rank an Arcana Master was when they had a child, the more potential the child would have. Of course, the prerequisite is that the Father cannot be a demigod realm.
As for won, while the maximum age was around 500 years to beco a mother, there are no rank restrictions for them.
Hence, Azzy, who is now a Supre Being, is the best candidate to pass on his bloodline to the new generation.
Azzy didn't take much ti to process his request as it was well within his expectations all along, although he still couldn't figure out what this curse was about.
The information couldn't be found in the Book of Death or any book in the royal library, and neither his dad nor Yashna Night had any idea about it. He couldn't talk with Francis, who might have an idea about it. And it is too embarrassing to ask other heads of hidden clans when he is a clan head himself. The ones who had an idea, i.e. Qridus, the founder's remnant spirit, and the Reaper were all not willing to give him the answer.
The best bet he had was this guy, who almost revealed it last ti.
After thinking about it, Azzy responded by comnting, "I rember the last ti you were here, you said sothing about your descendant marrying would be like sacrificing her because of the curse. And it has only been like a week."
The Head of the Minamoto Clan hesitated a little bit before replying, "We found the loophole to the curse after going through our ancient records. As long as she is not your true love or your first wife you had your children with, the curse wouldn't affect her too much."
"I don't know what this curse is, but if I were to be reunited with Claire, she would likely bear the brunt of it. Hmm…" Azzy montarily glanced at the Elf King as he rembered the latter's comnts back then, "This guy said that Elves don't have to worry about the curse because they have long lifespans. I rember this guy clearly ntioned that they only need a 7-star rank to have their lifespan reach above 10,000 years, which is impossible for a human unless they reach a demigod. The curse should be linked to the reduction of lifespan. Rather than an instant death, it should be an increased pace of the life span reduction. Moreover, it shouldn't be a problem for Claire either way. The last ti I saw her, she was already a demigod. So, she shouldn't have any problems. Well, I hope…"
Later on;
After finishing his etings with the two clan heads without giving any sort of promise to their marriage proposals either, Azzy had another private eting with the Moon Clan representatives.
The guests were changed but the topic remained the sa.
Like others, the Moon Clan is also interested in forming a marriage alliance with the Death Clan. The only difference was that previously, they wanted Estella to marry off to his father. He argued with Qridus and got so ti to resolve it. He went to Gideon and intended to unite him and Estella.
How in the world could he expect that Gideon would go on his own and Estella would break up with him for good and she was actually interested in marrying him instead?
It was quite difficult for Azzy to wrap his head around this matter. Hence, he asked for Elyssa to give him so ti alone to talk with Estella.
After requesting him to knock so sense into her clan heir, Elyssa left the room, leaving the two of them alone.
Before Estella opened her mouth, Azzy quickly brought up the topic of Gideon.
Estella was neither perplexed nor flustered about her forr love. Instead, she calmly told him the truth that she told Gideon and her family mbers.
