On the sa evening, the very first official assembly was called out by Azzy; the clan leaders answered the summons and reached the Garcia Palace within no ti.
The first to arrive was the Night Clan's new leader, Avia Night, despite having her ho the farthest. Perhaps, it is the unique relationship they had or it might be because he gained her acknowledgnt by soundly defeating her earlier in the Arena. Nevertheless, she responded the fastest, proving her loyalty to the throne.
When she arrived at the throne hall, she saw the new Clan Head was already there, waiting for them.
But, it isn't his early arrival caught her by surprise. It was the presence of soone else.
She saw little Affea sitting beside Azzy, having snacks and chatting with her brother with all smiles.
Her presence interrupted their chat, and Azzy gave her the nod of acknowledgnt, wiping off that earlier laugh he had on his face. "You are here, Clan Leader Avia."
Avia steadily walked forward and stopped at the center of the room, going down onto one of her knees with the fist on her chest, "Your Majesty."
"Arise."
As she got up and stood to the side, Azzy suddenly asked, "Did you appoint your successor for the position of the new presiding Judge?"
Avia calmly reacted to his question, "Not Yet, Your Majesty. But I have made a shortlist. The job will be done by tomorrow noon."
Azzy replied, "No, scarp off that list."
"Huh? Your Majesty?" Avia abruptly raised her head to look at Azzy in surprise. The latter spoke, "You shall continue as the Judge."
Avia was certainly taken aback by this order. "But, that's impossible. A clan leader is prohibited to take any civil or military position in the village."
"I know," Azzy nodded, "But I'll be going on a trip soon, leaving behind a ss for everyone to deal with. It is best if you lead the Judgent Hall as it was. If being a clan leader is a problem, then you can stay as a temporary judge until I decide your successor."
"But Your Majesty…"
Seeing Avia hesitate, Azzy used a stern tone, furrowing his brows as he looked at her, "Why? Do you wish to reject the order from your Clan Head?"
Avia quickly fell to one of her knees, "Avia Night follows the Monarch's will."
"Good, you may now relax."
"Wah… Chuckee…" Little Affea's beautiful large oval eyes were filled with an illusion of glowing stars as she was observing the situation. She couldn't help but comnt, "I heard that Auntie Avia was feared by all the villagers and everyone says that she is a demon from hell but she listens to you."
"Auntie… Ugh…" Avia felt like an invisible arrow struck her chest when she heard those words. She wants to scream out loud that she is not even forty years old but forces herself to keep her cool and return to her position.
Azzy, anwhile, stroked Affea's head lovingly as he replied, "She doesn't listen to , Affea. She listens to the one sitting on the throne. When you take over my position in the future, she will listen to your orders as well."
"Really?" Affea's excitent only grew further as she turned her head to gaze at the woman dressed in a long coat with a black shirt underneath and black leather pants on the bottom, "If I order you to beat up a baddie, will you do it without any questions?"
Affea calmly stared back at the little monster, as people in the village would call her affectionately, "Certainly. I would also beat up an innocent if the Clan Head orders ."
"Eh? But, why do you beat up an innocent?" Affea couldn't help but ask, dropping a puff of corn from her hand in surprise. "Auntie, are you a bully? Do you enjoy beating up people or sothing?"
"Eh?" Avia was taken aback this ti. "No, that's not it. What I an is that my will is the will of the Clan Head."
"Will? What is will?" Affea turned curious.
It was then Avia suddenly realized that Affea was only four years old. "Eh? Will?"
Azzy couldn't help but grin inwardly, enjoying the scene. At her age, Affea had a lot of questions to ask and it is not easy for adults to patiently explain everything the four-year-old kids in a way they understand.
Usually, the adults would give a straight answer for that, but the kids don't understand it properly, giving rise to more questions from them. It is why parents at that age would want their kids to spend their ti more on playing.
"You see… will is sothing that…" Avia was about to explain it in a way that the little girl would understand the concept of will but they were interrupted by the arrival of another clan leader, representing the Ash Clan.
Surprisingly, it wasn't the old clan leader. It was the young woman, whom Azzy was quite familiar with, soone he knew from the past tiline but never t during these past few years of his stay in the clan. He was quite surprised at first, seeing her white hair, as the last he saw her, it wasn't white.
The white-haired woman gracefully walked to the center of the room and greeted Azzy, just like Avia, although at a slow pace and quite elegantly, "Irene Ash greets the Clan Head. Lady Demure has passed her position to this noon, Your Majesty."
"Arise, Clan Leader Irene."
Irene had no mories of eting him in the Champions League. Hence, he acted as if he was eting her for the first ti, asking her, "I heard that you have been under Close door training for many years to break through into the legendary realm, but I see that you are still at the peak stage of Exalt realm. Why did Demure appoint you as her successor when you should be focused on your breakthrough."
"Uhh… this…" Irene couldn't see him directly in the eyes. She averted her gaze instead and answered slowly, "Your Majesty, after a eting among the clan elders, it has been decided that the clan will pour all the resources into Lady Demure's close-door training to the Supre Realm."
"Chuckee… this auntie is lying…" Affea suddenly made a comnt; her voice was loud and clear, taking all three of them by surprise.
"Huh?"
