Li Yanan was much taller than her, and standing next to him, Lin Zhenxin always felt a bit like a child.
It was a call from the station director.
They said sothing urgent had co up and she needed to co over.
Lin Zhenxin simply agreed, hung up the phone, and glanced at Li Yanan, who naturally withdrew his hand.
"Don't you have to work today?"
"Hmm." He didn't deny it, but it was unclear if he was affirming it.
"I have to go to the station later. Grandma has a habit of taking a nap. When she wakes up, could you help make sure she takes her dicine?"
If they were at ho, she wouldn't worry, but now in an unfamiliar environnt, Lin Zhenxin felt uneasy.
"Need a ride?"
Hearing this, Lin Zhenxin quickly shook her head. Earlier, she noticed that there was a tro station at the community entrance; it was convenient to reach the radio station in forty minutes.
"Uh..." As if rembering sothing, she called out to stop Li Yanan, who was walking out.
Li Yanan turned back, but Lin Zhenxin was montarily at a loss for words. She didn't intend to hide anything about her academic background.
"Anything else?" He asked when she remained silent for a while.
"No, nothing..." Lin Zhenxin shook her head, ultimately saying nothing at all...
When she arrived at the station, she learned that an urgent eting was about to be held. Ordinarily, such matters wouldn't involve Lin Zhenxin, but an hour before the eting, she was unexpectedly nad, prompting the director to call her.
However, the director secretly revealed so information to Lin Zhenxin. It was said to be preparations for a new live broadcast program at the station.
Lin Zhenxin didn't feel lucky. On the contrary, after bumping into that incident at noon, she had a nagging premonition.
Sure enough, a minute before the eting began, that popular female broadcaster strutted in with model-like steps, naturally sitting in the main seat. It was evident that the host for the station's new live program had already been decided.
Whether deliberate or not, she glanced over with a smirk that didn't reach her eyes.
The eting officially started.
"How about inviting He Bainian as the first guest?" Soone suggested, and others imdiately echoed the idea.
He Bainian, the new financial whiz of Wall Street, had just returned from the United States, backed by the entire He Group, not to ntion his legendary rich aunt.
In the international financial circle, there were two invincible Chinese tycoons: the mysterious, never-before-seen Elliott, and then He Bainian's aunt, Susan He.
There used to be a joke that if these two tead up, they could absolutely shake half the world!
"Speaking of He Bainian, you must ntion his precious little sister." Soone brought up the topic, and the conversation shifted.
"He Nuoxin, she's truly a little princess!" soone else laughed.
Lin Zhenxin didn't know whom they were talking about; whether it was He Bainian or He Nuoxin, she paid them no attention.
"Yeah, but why did she fancy that illegitimate child from the Li family back then, with the marriage rumors spreading like wildfire?"
Throughout, Lin Zhenxin just kept her head down without speaking, like a background character.
"Why not invite Mr. He Bainian and that illegitimate child from the Li family together for the first episode? I'm sure the listening ratings would soar!"
As soon as the popular female broadcaster Shelley spoke, the room fell silent.
The proposal was indeed daring!
