Lin Zhenxin seed to have long gotten used to Yao Lemon's antics, moving the receiver away from her ear and continuing to walk forward.
She only moved it back when Yao Lemon finally finished her outburst and started speaking again.
"Lin Zhenxin, are you crazy? Where did you dig up this guy, from a thrift shop or sothing? Did you pawn your brain or what?"
After leaving her house, Yao Lemon made her way ho in a daze, only coming to her senses once she stepped inside!
"Lemon, why don't you calm down a bit more?"
Lin Zhenxin had known Yao Lemon for so many years and was well aware of her lifestyle habits.
"Calm your ass!" Without another word, Yao Lemon burst into another tirade, and Lin Zhenxin once again moved the receiver away.
"You outside?" After a round of yelling, Yao Lemon temporarily returned to normal.
"Yeah." It was getting colder, and Lin Zhenxin hunched her shoulders, regretting not bringing a scarf.
"Where are you going?"
"To buy condoms." Lin Zhenxin replied casually, hearing the other end of the line suddenly fall silent as if ti had stopped.
Then, she heard a click, and the call was disconnected.
Lin Zhenxin could imagine Yao Lemon's frantic expression in her mind, and couldn't help but laugh out loud...
If Lin Zhenxin rembered correctly, there was indeed a pharmacy at the corner.

Logically speaking, this should be considered a scholarly family background, but for the director's generation, sothing went awry.
With the director's qualifications and family background, it was absolutely impossible for him to take a position at the radio station, yet he committed the 'mistake that all n in the world would make,' and coincidentally was caught and made an example of, remaining in silence for two whole years before parachuting into the station.
On the other hand, the female broadcaster, not realizing she was being watched by an acquaintance, was wantonly leveraging her youthful advantage and acting coquettishly.
The director was nearing fifty-six, while the broadcaster was in her early twenties; they looked just like a father-daughter duo.
To top it off, the director's real daughter was the sa age as the broadcaster!
Lin Zhenxin had no interest in the affairs between the two and just wanted to hurry back.
As luck would have it, just as Lin Zhenxin turned around, the broadcaster's peripheral vision caught sight of her.
She was initially startled, and the smile on her face froze.
Knowing she had been seen, Lin Zhenxin sighed internally, knowing this matter probably wouldn't end well...
This ti, Lin Zhenxin's actions in opening the door were more adept, and she reached her floor after a short elevator ride.

Unsure whether it was out of guilt, Lin Zhenxin quickly hid the items she'd bought behind her back, her eyes sweeping over the fire in the kitchen, an obscure expression crossing her face as she unconsciously took two steps back.
