Not only were All Saints imrsed in mory, but even Mountain Sea itself trembled with fear and shuddered without end upon this discovery.
In an instant, Infinite Sea rippled with countless waves; at this mont, the possibilities arising were more than all those of the past billion years combined.
The towering Upper Mountain seed to be struck by an invisible force, trembling incessantly.
After the Mountain and Sea Devouring God, it was believed that everything in the world would return to Mountain Sea.
In harmonious dependency, an eternal world would be shaped.
Yet the discovery at this mont rcilessly shattered Mountain Sea’s long-held expectations.
Thus, change erged of its own accord.
...
"That gaze from beyond Mountain Sea, where does it truly co from? Could it be what’s called ’Star’?"
"Without this gaze, perhaps Mountain Sea could indeed maintain this so-called eternity. Possibilities arise and perish, yet do not affect Mountain Sea itself. Ti holds significance for the irregular ergence of possibilities within Infinite Sea, but it holds none for Mountain Sea itself. But with this gaze from beyond Mountain Sea... everything becos different!"
"Mountain Sea transford from the eternal creator and sustainer to the observer. No longer transcendent nor eternally unchanged."
"This inexplicable gaze is likely the culprit behind Mountain Sea’s current predicant. Just what exactly..."
After the fear, many questions arose in the hearts of the observing Saints.
But even Mountain Sea itself found it difficult to know the answer, let alone the Saints present.
They had no choice but to continue watching in bewildernt.
...
In the past, unknown to the gaze over Mountain Sea, Mountain Sea could perhaps maintain balance on its own.
But since sensing that thread of gaze from beyond Mountain Sea, Mountain Sea could no longer maintain its previous state of tranquility.
As the ripples in Infinite Sea increased at the sa ti, a pond of water, ultimately, could no longer be sustained.
As if a Big Wind constantly blew, carrying the pond water outwards.
Causing Mountain and Sea to ld, causing stillness to be broken.
Ti quietly flowed over Mountain Sea.
After devouring the God, the Mountain Sea’s attempt to consolidate its existence at one point did not last long before being shattered.
Perhaps it signified so inevitability.
Mountain and Sea ld, for Mountain Sea, destined to be a tribulation.
Yet for the Living Beings within the possibilities between Mountain Sea, it was nothing short of a creation.
So Living Beings amidst the turbulence of Mountain Sea, in Infinite Sea, glimpsed the towering Upper Mountain’s traces.
Thus began the attempt to ascend.
Though many ended in failure, they continued without knowing what giving up ant.
As if driven by an inexplicable force.
Though Living Beings are born of Mountain Sea, the ambition to cross the seas like Mountain Lian is an instinct inherent in them!
Ti, like an engraving knife, altered the original shape of Mountain Sea.
The pond’s water slowly flowed outward.
From a trickling stream, it beca countless confluences of great rivers.
Winds split and waters eroded, causing Upper Mountain, standing by the pond’s edge, to suffer erosion.
Gradually lding into the great rivers.
With the passage of ti, the process of Mountain Sea lding accelerated.
Whether it is a fate Mountain Sea cannot resist, or so attempt of Mountain Sea’s own.
From Ancient Mountain and Sea, standing together, maintaining eternal state. To Mountain and Sea becoming as they are today.
Through the long epochs of 15 billion years.
Possibilities no longer arise and disappear, but instead, flow endlessly forward with Mountain Sea through the river of ti.
Great waves wash away the sands.
As the cycle of life is continuously extended, the upper limit of the strength of newly born Living Beings within Mountain Sea also constantly rises.
Finally, one day, a Living Being leapt from Infinite Sea, touching the boundary of Upper Mountain.
Though it did not survive long, and perished.
But the impact it had on Mountain Sea was undoubtedly imnse.
Like a boulder falling into Infinite Sea, stirring up countless waves.
More and more Living Beings began to imitate, repeating the endeavor to ascend.
Seemingly without reason, yet perhaps with good reason.
Because Upper Mountain was right there.
Another billion years of poignant ti passed.
The limit that Mountain Sea Living Beings could reach grew higher and higher.
Even as Infinite as it’s called, Upper Mountain was destined to be conquered one day.
Over the years, Saint Lianshan witnessed nurous attempts to ascend, feeling sothing deep within.
And with the endless crowd, embarked on the journey.
Finally, one day, leaving everyone behind.
Ascend to the summit of Upper Mountain.
The view of All Saints, following the mory of Saint Lianshan, changed.
Originally an experience of the Three Saints in parallel, at this mont, the vision from Saint Lianshan forcibly suppressed the other two Saints.
Standing atop Mountain Sea, Saint Lianshan did not look over the Mountain Sea.
Instead, instinctively, recalled the many years before when he felt that gaze from beyond Mountain Sea.
So he couldn’t help but lift his head, trying to look outside.
In just an instant, Saint Lianshan felt the existence of that gaze!
Even as the strongest being besides Mountain Sea, at that mont, he could not bear it, his form and Divine Soul both shattered.
Yet, Saint Lianshan did not co away empty-handed.
In that instant, he distinctly felt, even after billions of years, that gaze from beyond Mountain Sea.
Seed to have drawn closer!
With a sense of hearing the Tao in the morning and being ready to die in the evening, Saint Lianshan did not regret his impulsive act leading to his demise.
Even at the brink of perishing, he remained absorbed in the shock brought upon by that gaze.
But as the first living being to ascend to the peak of Mountain Sea, Saint Lianshan was destined not to perish just like that.
In the mont of vanishing, past sights, countless scenes of Living Beings within Mountain Sea persevering fearlessly to ascend Upper Mountain, once again appeared in his Spirit Consciousness.
"Mountain Sea is majestic, and so, too, are Mountain Sea’s Living Beings, no less so."
"Mountain Sea is boundless, yet with the finite steps of Mountain Sea’s Living Beings, it can still be asured."
All sorts of realizations flashed like lightning through Mountain Lian’s Spirit Consciousness.
In the final monts before perishing, Lian Shan once more attained the Tao.
Using his body as a bridge, paving a broad path for all beings to ascend the summit.
"The past , ought not to have had such comprehension, to have such insight in the face of death in an instant."
"It’s because of..."
"That gaze."
Saint Lianshan descended into the world.
Mountain Sea subsequently changed again.
Mountain Sea was originally an independent existence.
The so-called Living Beings, civilization, and Tao of Mountain Sea.
All were unrelated to Mountain Sea.
However, since the appearance of Saint Lianshan, Mountain Sea itself developed ever more intricate connections with everything within it.
Then, Saints Gui Hai and Taiyi were born.
