Yin Shangren caused a complete commotion until the power accumulated by the spectres of the Residual Realm over millennia was entirely consud, only then did he reluctantly withdraw.
He quietly retreated, joining Bai Shuyue.
Before Su Bai’s skull, the two stood shoulder to shoulder.
After the initial excitent passed, Yin Shangren finally cald down.
"A special thought?" Yin Shangren couldn’t discern any peculiarity in the skull before him.
However, Bai Shuyue was more convinced, "My previous judgnt was not wrong."
The Spirit Mirror Nascent Soul strikingly reflected a faint and indistinct figure within the skull!
At the sa ti, the Gold Core of Chaos seed to sense sothing, as countless beams of light instantly radiated from the Gold Core, twisting toward Su Bai’s skull. It seed that sothing within the skull had a fatal attraction to it.
Having confird her suspicion, Bai Shuyue initially thought that communicating with the figure within the skull would not be difficult. Yet, reality defied her expectations.
For a full fifty years, she achieved nothing!
It was as if the phantom hidden within the skull was rely her illusion!
Even Yin Shangren was sowhat giving up, turning his main attention to further deducing the New thod.
But Bai Shuyue refused to concede.
"It’s clearly there, yet it’s as if unseen..."
"But this is as it should be. Su Bai’s skull has been placed in the Museum of Divine Artifacts for so many years, observed by countless cultivators. If it were so easily discovered, it wouldn’t have remained until now."
"If it won’t co to see , then I’ll go to see it!"
After fifty arduous years, Bai Shuyue finally changed her approach.
Another fifty years later, Su Bai’s skull remained quietly in place.
Only in the reflection of the Spirit Mirror Nascent Soul, outside the skull, another figure suddenly appeared. It was Bai Shuyue.
"Is this... viewing the world from another perspective?"
This phantom did not truly exist.
Rather, it was a concentrated embodint of Bai Shuyue’s "observation" and "perception" within a certain range around herself.
This was the Divine Technique White Shuyue had developed over a century for "seeing."
Bai Shuyue referred to it as [Divine Pivot].
The Divine Pivot phantom, with a thought could ascend to the heavens, with another, delve into the earth. What it saw and perceived differed significantly from direct sight or divine sense observation. What it touched and viewed was closer to the essence of Daoist principles.
Of course, it was within Bai Shuyue’s current understanding range of this essence. In truth, as Bai Shuyue’s abilities continued to increase and her vision broadened, the scene she perceived with the Divine Pivot technique constantly varied.
At this mont, the Divine Pivot phantom floated gracefully.
It entered Su Bai’s skull.
Before entering, Bai Shuyue sensed a suprely gentle energy emanating from within the skull. If the Ten Thousand Realms was a stormy sea surface under severe weather, then within the skull was a comforting safe haven.
"Without energy support from the physical body, the Divine Pivot should, by normal ans, only last for thirty days. But inside this skull..."
"Nurtured by heaven and earth, without chaotic consumption, it can survive indefinitely!"
Inside Su Bai’s skull was not a realm of death silence, but a space glowing with a warm yellow radiance. Countless light and shadow fragnts floated like ribbons, swirling gently.
And not far away, a figure was cautiously watching Bai Shuyue.
It was the very figure she had sought for a long century!
"Su Bai?" Bai Shuyue asked aloud.
"Su Bai?" The figure questioningly replied.
Now it was Bai Shuyue’s turn to be astonished.
"Greetings, Daoist, I am nad Qiao Sidao."
Qiao Sidao briefly recounted his experience of being born from the [Era] and having endured countless cyclical reincarnations to finally break free.
His experience, sowhat analogous to her own, caused Bai Shuyue to briefly wonder and question within.
"Could I also be living within a vast [Era]?"
But this doubt lasted only for a mont and soon faded.
"It’s not that I avoided eting you, Daoist; it was truly involuntary."
"I am not a living being of the Xuanhuang World, just a re thought. If I leave the protection of the skull, I might vanish instantly."
"Especially with Daoist’s divine sense constantly enveloping the skull in search of . How could I withstand such tornt?" Qiao Sidao explained with a bitter smile.
Bai Shuyue understood upon hearing this.
Although the figure was not Su Bai, Bai Shuyue was still delighted by their interaction.
The experiences and knowledge shared by Qiao Sidao over countless reincarnations, although mostly not applicable to the reality of Xuanhuang, were not re fantasies. They had a theoretical foundation.
They greatly enriched and nourished Bai Shuyue’s Golden Pill of Chaos.
The Golden Pill of Chaos was already the culmination of all her insights into the world. The more she knew and saw, the more brilliant it beca.
"Furthermore, Qiao Sidao’s learning greatly differs from the inheritance of the Xuanhuang World and the Alliance of Thousands of Immortals. Its value for my deduction and accumulation is imnse."
For the rest of this life, Bai Shuyue continued to dialogue with Qiao Sidao.
Unaware of the passage of ti.
Until over nine hundred years later...
It was as if the sky had been suddenly torn open, and a fatal sense of crisis abruptly surged within Bai Shuyue.
However, before she could comprehend what had happened, she and most living beings in the Xuanhuang World had already perished.
In her final monts of disorientation, Bai Shuyue seed to see, above her, an illusion of endless expanses of mountain and sea.
"Heaven and Earth boundless, Mountain Sea infinite."
Enlightennt of the asureless Barrier’s words involuntarily resounded once again in Bai Shuyue’s spirit consciousness.
...
The Dark Heavenly Doctor completed this possible retrieval of its own potential without urgency.
But instead, looked down upon the world below with a nostalgic gaze.
