Chapter 1775: Chapter 1442
The mont the blood-clad man’s voice ceased, everyone felt an inexplicable suction appear above the circular floating land, as if a vortex had suddenly erged, pulling them all in.
Before falling into the vortex, Li Fan inadvertently glanced again at the stone pillar the blood-clad man carried on his shoulder.
In the instant the other lightly patted the stone pillar, Li Fan sensed an extrely faint tremor synchronously occurring within the Dao Network.
“A Pillar of the Great Dao? Or perhaps, a part of the Great Dao itself?”
“Being able to shoulder the Dao so effortlessly… this person’s strength…”
“Is probably not beneath the Naless!” Li Fan thought with a shiver.
The invisible vortex swallowed up all twenty-eight newly minted Immortal Hunts.
When they regained their senses, they found themselves under a strange starry sky.
Information regarding the current operation was transmitted from within the Dao Network.
“A True Immortal is expected to arrive here in half an hour.”
“Make use of the remaining ti to discuss hunting strategies.”
As the group digested the information, their eyes turned to the mysterious “Immortal Bait” emanating an indescribable fluctuation in the void.
A bronze coffin quietly floated there, surrounded by patterns of nine dragons and nine phoenixes.
What made observers’ hearts grow cold was that a corner of the coffin lid had inexplicably been opened by soone unknown. From within, an intermittent low murmur could be heard.
Though the sound originated from the bronze coffin, it seed to erge right behind their ears.
The demon sound filled their ears; though it seed to have no imdiate impact on them, the fact that it could attract a True Immortal to traverse the Star Sea indicated that the coffin had its unique features.
After a brief silent observation, the top scorer, Dao Yuan, was the first to speak: “I happen to know a little about the origin of this Immortal Bait. Allow to offer so insights as an introduction. If there are any inaccuracies, I humbly ask for your understanding.”
Dao Yuan’s humble attitude led the others to nod.
“As is well known, the remaining True Immortals in the Star Sea mostly seek two things. First, the realization of the Great Dao to certify the Naless Realm. And secondly…”
“Naturally, the art of avoiding tribulations and averting disaster. When the Immortal World suddenly perished, countless True Immortals died like ants. Those Immortals fortunate enough to survive developed a deep obsession with the ans of escaping for survival. It is said that after the Immortal World perished, the Naless True Immortals gathered to study and devised three mysterious-like-divine thods of refuge.”
Although Dao Yuan claid it was common knowledge, judging from the expressions of these newly minted Immortal Hunts, it was clear that such secrets were not sothing ordinary people were aware of. Most were deeply intrigued and listened intently.
However, so were indifferent to Dao Yuan’s showiness and sneered coldly.
“It is said that these three thods of refuge can shelter living beings from all tribulations. Even calamities like the end of the Immortal World can be safely withstood.”
“The bronze coffin before us is the [Transcendent Mystical Coffin] from the Three thods of Seeking Refuge. This mystic coffin seems to connect with other worlds, and once inside, one completely disappears from this world…”
At this point, soone couldn’t help but interrupt Dao Yuan’s words.
“…completely disappear? In that case, how can it be certain whether one has perished or truly gone to refuge?”
This was undoubtedly the question on everyone’s mind.
Dao Yuan smiled slightly, pointing to the nine dragons and nine phoenixes engraved on the coffin: “Have you seen these dragon and phoenix patterns? Once a person enters the coffin and disappears, the cries of dragons and phoenixes will ultimately reveal the image of another world. It is said that all are filled with joy and gratitude. Presumably, they can communicate when sending the person in the coffin to another world.”
“As for the authenticity of these visions… the countless True Immortals, even the Naless True Immortals, rushing towards the [Transcendent Mystical Coffin] speaks volus.”
Upon hearing this, everyone drew in a sharp breath.
“Then what we have before us…”
Dao Yuan smiled: “It’s naturally an imitation.”
Though the answer was expected, everyone couldn’t help but sigh.
“The Transcendent Mystical Coffin was created to help Fairies avoid catastrophes. Thus, initially, those with Great Divine Technique collaborated and announced the thod to start the Mystical Coffin’s fluctuations to all surviving Fairies.”
“Those who are ant to will enter the coffin to avoid disaster,” Dao Yuan explained slowly.
At this point, soone among the new Immortal Hunts realized: “So, those who originally forged the Transcendent Mystical Coffin have long since used it to avoid the world and escape to other realms?”
Dao Yuan nodded: “Indeed!”
“The Mystical Coffin is also their legacy. It is said that the true Mystical Coffin drifts within the Star Sea following a special pattern, continually spreading its proclamation to the four directions. Though we from the Sea of the Northern Stars have never seen the true Transcendent Mystical Coffin, we can already forge its fluctuations…”
Suddenly, a cold laugh interjected inexplicably: “Brother Dao, how do you know that we from the Sea of the Northern Stars have never seen the true Mystical Coffin? If such a Divine Object wasn’t seen firsthand, how could it be imitated so lifelike?”
Upon hearing this, Dao Yuan and the surrounding Immortal Hunt mbers had a shift in their expressions.
Yet the voice that had just spoken coldly derided and then fell silent, making it difficult to discern who had spoken.
Everyone discreetly scrutinized one another but seed unable to find any suspicious individuals.
When the scene beca stagnant, soone stood up to ease the situation: “Brother Dao, tell us more about the other two great thods of evading the world. We are truly curious about such secret news!”
Others nodded in agreent, and Dao Yuan’s expression relaxed before he began speaking again: “As for the other two great thods of evading the world, I only know one of them.”
