Chapter 1647: Chapter 1379: Bones of the Naless Immortal

“Hai Zhen!”

As Li Fan silently chanted in his heart, a layer of water mist instantly enveloped all the surroundings.

However, Li Fan was startled to discover that not far away, the Unworded Stele—also known as the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar—its “color” was faintly able to penetrate the mist of Hai Zhen!

Its brilliance remained pristine as ever.

At the sa ti, near the Unworded Stele, the True Immortal from the Immortal Ruins still vaguely revealed her silhouette.

The interception by Tianyang and Qiu Shui seed to have failed to hold her for long. The streak of color within the mist grew increasingly closer to Li Fan.

But just as she had slowed down when nearing the Unworded Stele during her approach in the Immortal Domain, her speed in closing in on Li Fan similarly reduced and eventually ca to a complete stop.

Thick, dense fog entirely obscured the True Immortal from the Immortal Ruins. Even the Unworded Stele beca faintly visible at best.

“That is…”

Li Fan couldn’t help but direct his gaze toward the Unworded Stele.

He could vaguely see that aside from the two True Immortal Seal Characters ford earlier by the True Immortal from the Immortal Ruins and the white arc “Luo Fan Chen,” another character—no, countless characters—began to manifest on the stele all at once, densely packed, flooding its surface!

An indescribable and terrifying impact erupted suddenly from the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar. Even though it beca increasingly difficult to make sense of the scenery within the Star Sea, the ripple-like movents continuously stirring within the Hai Zhen mist made the imnse force of this impact evident.

“Pfft!” Despite having the protection of Hai Zhen’s white mist, the instant the countless characters surged into Li Fan’s eyesight, his brain felt as though hamred relentlessly hundreds of tis.

His Divine Soul quaked and boiled, and his consciousness was nearly shredded to pieces.

Fortunately, at that very mont, the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar itself could no longer withstand such pressure either.

With a deafening explosion, it shattered into countless fragnts!

Whether it was re coincidence or so unseen influence, the largest fragnt unexpectedly shot straight toward Li Fan.

Its speed outpaced the pursuit of the True Immortal from the Immortal Ruins by a factor of thousands.

It pierced through the fabric of conventional spaceti in an instant and arrived within Hai Zhen’s white mist!

At the sa ti, Hai Zhen’s white mist completely swallowed the world.

The fragnt, upon its arrival into the mist, lost all speed and luster. It rely drifted silently at the edge of the fog.

Barely regaining his senses after being shaken to disorientation, Li Fan gazed at his surroundings—still enshrouded by the fog—and pondered on his predicant, especially the state of not yet returning to the established anchor point.

After carefully sensing the fluctuations transmitted by Hai Zhen, Li Fan cautiously motioned for the fragnt, drawing it closer to his hand.

A familiar glow exploded forth. The interrupted Hai Zhen progression resud once more.

Scenes from his previous life erged one by one, sequentially reappearing before his eyes.

Before Li Fan’s consciousness plunged into darkness, he realized at so unknown mont, the fragnt of the Unworded Stele in his grasp had already vanished.

Anchor Point: 1 year, Dissociative Mountain Peak!

20-year-old Li Fan reopened his eyes.

“Whew!”

This ti, the end of the simulation and rebirth did not bring about a sense of being disconnected from prior lives. Everything he had experienced—the tension, danger, and mind-boggling occurrences—remained vivid.

It seed as though similar events had also unfolded in this life.

Instinctively, Li Fan glanced at the Hai Zhen interface.

The energy recharge level held at 31%.

When Hai Zhen first began, the recharge progress had peaked at 400%—a clear indication of just how perilous the end of his previous life had been.

Though he had successfully returned to the established anchor point, Li Fan remained sowhat unsettled internally.

He stepped out of the thatched cottage and approached the cliff’s edge at the mountain summit, facing the vast cloud sea.

His gaze tightened on the Hai Zhen panel, noticing sothing newly added to the list of retained items.

[…Leg Bone]

The two characters “Leg Bone” were preceded by distorted, blurred symbols, whose aning Li Fan couldn’t decipher.

Naturally, however, Li Fan understood where this bone had co from.

“The Unworded Stele, Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar?”

“Could the Immortal Heavenly Pillar have been forged from the leg bone of so powerful existence?”

Li Fan’s mind trembled with astonishnt.

The incomprehensible, twisted symbols imdiately reminded him of tales pertaining to the Legendary Naless True Immortal.

This bold conjecture sparked countless thoughts within Li Fan’s Spirit Consciousness.

“But right now, the most pressing matter is…”

“Ensuring my own safety.”

Casually picking up a stone at his feet, he gripped it tightly in his hand and silently chanted to himself.

Hai Zhen’s enhancent followed promptly.

“Consu an available anchor point to replace the bound item… Leg Bone.”

The instant the enhancent prompt appeared, Li Fan inexplicably let out a breath of relief.

Hai Zhen had not spiraled out of control. He still possessed the utmost authority over Hai Zhen.

The appearance of this leg bone rely signified that during his previous Hai Zhen process, an unintended stowaway had accompanied him.

“Even so, this Naless True Immortal leg bone is truly extraordinary.”

Li Fan’s heart was filled with awe.

For now, unable to ascertain the leg bone’s true origin, he could only tentatively label it as belonging to a Naless True Immortal.

First opting for “No” to keep the Naless True Immortal leg bone, Li Fan examined the fragnt of the stele displayed on the Hai Zhen panel, his expression grave.

Reflecting on the multitude of events that transpired at the end of his previous life.

“The Unworded Stele, also called the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar, has the ability to resist the Dao Extinction Tribulation to a certain extent.”

“Given its designation as the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar, it suggests that the Immortal World once possessed multiple such pillars.”

“The Leg Bone… Could it be that other Heaven Pillars were forged from bones belonging to other parts of the Naless True Immortal’s body? Or perhaps, from other Naless True Immortals.” Li Fan felt a chill creep through his heart.

“In its initial state, the Southern Celestial Heaven Pillar was mostly inert when faced with the Dao Extinction Tribulation. It was only when the Hungry Immortal infused it with the essence of the [Hunger] Character Art that it transford into the Sky-Supporting Light Pillar, effectively countering the Dao Extinction Tribulation. The Unworded Stele appears to possess a Supre Divine Technique capable of manifesting all entities back to their original Great Dao principles, and embodying those laws through True Immortal Seal Characters engraved upon its surface.”
