37: Chapter 37 Buying a Suit
After several cups of tea and a trip to the restroom, the general manager finally arrived.
An Qi was dressed in relatively conservative professional attire for won, exuding an aura of a strong career woman.

An Qi knew that Lin Yifan ca from a poor family, so she had no choice but to suppress her emotions and ordered, “Go out now and buy a suit to wear.”
“General manager, how much does a suit typically cost?” Lin Yifan asked curiously.
“Cheap ones are a few hundred; expensive ones can cost thousands or even tens of thousands.”
“What’s your requirent?
A few hundred, a few thousand, or tens of thousands?” Yifan pressed further.
“If the budget allows, go for the ones that cost thousands or tens of thousands, but if not, a few hundred will do,” An Qi answered.
“OK!
I’ve got it.”
With that, Lin Yifan took off like an arrow from the office hall and went downstairs to buy clothes.
Jincan Road was lined on both sides with various company buildings and office towers, with hardly any clothing stores, so he had to ask passersby.
After inquiring, he learned that there was a comrcial street about one kiloter to the west of Jincan Road; he then walked there.
After about ten minutes, he arrived at the comrcial street.
By this ti, the shops on both sides of the comrcial street were open; however, since it was morning, there weren’t too many pedestrians on the street.
Lin Yifan kept looking around, searching for the shadow of a suit store.
Soon after, he found a suit shop nad “n’s Help”.
Curious, he entered the store.
Upon entering, he was greeted with bows by the staff standing at the entrance, which made him quite uncomfortable.
He had never been to such a high-end clothing store before, and suddenly he felt rather intimidated.
While he was at a loss, a heavily made-up female sales associate approached him.
Seeing his unsophisticated attire, the female associate originally did not want to serve him, but considering the existence of a group of people known as nouveau riche, she managed to keep her composure and politely inquired, “Sir!
What kind of suit are you looking to buy?”
From that montary look of disdain from the other party, Lin Yifan got a good sense of the shop’s attitude toward service.
To be honest, he didn’t really want to spend money in a shop that looked down on its custors.
But in order to get the chore done as soon as possible, he had to endure it.
“How much is the cheapest suit here?”
