"It looks like a formation," Gao Fei frowned and said, "The formation is powerful, beyond what I can contend with."
"I'm becoming more and more curious about this island," the elder by the bronze coffin said. "It's vast with dense spiritual energy, hiding eighteen unique steles, and there is even a formation in the sky above the island..."
"That's not right," Gao Fei raised an eyebrow. "If the island is covered by a formation, how did we get in? What exactly happened after we lost consciousness?"
"There must be a second entrance..."
"A second entrance?"
"It must be there, otherwise how did we get in? You saw it, the formation above the island is too sharp, we couldn't possibly have broken through and barged in."
"Search! We must find the second entrance, even if it ans digging three feet into the ground!"
"This is just my conjecture, whether there really is a second entrance still needs to be verified."
In the following ti, Gao Fei led Chen San and Liu Qing to search for the second entrance.
Several days later, Gao Fei and the others found a cave, bottomless, with the faint sound of rushing water coming from within.
"You wait here, I'll go down and take a look," said Gao Fei.
"No, we're going with you."
"It's an order! You must follow it!"

"I'll be back soon." After instructing them, Gao Fei dived into the cave.

It took a long ti before Gao Fei reerged.
"How was it?" Chen San and Liu Qing asked anxiously.

"Don't celebrate too soon," Gao Fei shook his head. "I found a vortex at the bottom of the cave."
"A vortex?"
"Do you rember how we passed out?"
"Of course! We were being chased by a group of powerful people, stumbled into a strange sea area, encountered a huge vortex, and were sucked into it. Then the imnse force shocked us into unconsciousness, and when we woke up, we were here."
"If I'm not mistaken, that vortex has a transport function. After knocking us out, it transported us to this island."
"That must be the case..."
"If we want to leave the island, we'll need to go through the vortex."
"...If we have to be shocked into unconsciousness again to get out of this cursed place, well, paying so price is worth it."
"Have you made up your minds?"
"We have!"
"Then let's go down."

The Bronze Coffin, hauling the Dragon Corpse, arrived at the bottom of the cave. Just as Gao Fei had said, there was a huge whirlpool at the bottom of the cave. After a brief pause, the Bronze Coffin dashed into the whirlpool with the Dragon Corpse in tow.
"Boom!!!!"
Terrifying pressure surged from all directions, desperately squeezing the Bronze Coffin and the Dragon Corpse. Gao Fei and the others held on for a short while before they all fainted...
...
"Hey! Wake up! Co on, wake up!" A stream of ntal Power kept flashing in Gao Fei's mind.
"Um..." Gao Fei's eyelashes fluttered, and he slowly opened his eyes: "Where am I..."
"You're still inside the Bronze Coffin," laughed the old man from the Bronze Coffin.
"Have we left the island?"
"We have!"
"It seems I guessed right, that whirlpool really did have a transportation function... Right, where are Chen San and Liu Qing? Are they alright?"
"They are lying next to you, still unconscious!" said the old man from the Bronze Coffin. "We've returned to the sea realm we were in before. The seawater is black, dense and sticky, making movent quite inconvenient."
Ten days later.
The Bronze Coffin, pulling the Dragon Corpse, burst out of the water's surface. After circling in the air for a while, it sped off into the distance.
The days of being hunted were finally over.

Gao Fei retracted the Bronze Coffin and then found a secluded place to hide the Dragon Corpse. Afterward, he returned to the military camp.
"Lord Gao? You're still alive?" The gatekeeping soldier at the military camp gaped in shock.
"What nonsense are you spouting!" Chen San glared and scolded: "You've got so nerve, daring to curse his lordship!"
"No, no, no, I didn't an that; I did not curse his lordship," the gatekeeper quickly clarified. "I was just too surprised... too unexpected... Months ago, you went to participate in the trials and then went missing. Many people thought you had an accident..."
"You listen to !" Chen San huffed: "We are tough to kill! Even if the sky falls and the earth cracks, we can still live well."
"Yes, yes, yes, I misspoke. Please don't take it amiss, lords," the gatekeeper kept apologizing.
Chen San wanted to scold further but was stopped by Gao Fei, who, with a smile, kindly said to the soldier: "You're not to bla! If anyone disappeared for a few months, others would speculate too."
Relieved by Gao Fei's understanding attitude, the gatekeeper let out a sigh of relief.
"Has everything been alright in the camp while I was gone?" Gao Fei asked.
"Pretty good... just that..." The soldier hesitated as if he had sothing difficult to say.
"What's wrong?" Gao Fei asked: "What happened?"
"Spit it out!" Chen San commanded: "Stop beating around the bush!"
"Chen San!" Gao Fei gave Chen San a stern glance: "Step aside!"
Seeing Gao Fei angry, Chen San dared not speak further and stepped aside dutifully.
Gao Fei turned back to the gatekeeper, a faint smile on his face: "Tell , what exactly happened?"
"My lord..." the gatekeeper said with a wry smile: "Since you disappeared for several months without a trace, the higher-ups assud you had an accident, so they appointed a new Chiliarch..."
"What?" Before Gao Fei could speak, Chen San, standing at a distance, grew frantic, bellowing: "What did you say? Say it again!!!" Chen San's eyes were bloodshot, his expression fierce, as if he were about to devour soone.
"The higher-ups have declared Lord Gao deceased, so they appointed a new Chiliarch..." the gatekeeper repeated timidly.
"Damn!" Chen San was furious, exclaiming with reddened eyes: "Utterly despicable!!!"
"This is bullying!" Liu Qing was also outraged.
"Chen San, Liu Qing, calm down," Gao Fei said firmly: "The command cos from above and is unrelated to this brother soldier here, don't take your anger out on him."
Lord Gao really knows how to be reasonable! The gatekeeper was so moved he was nearly in tears.
