"Co on, everybody in!" Gao Fei shook the little bottle in his hand.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz..."
Hundreds of little bugs lined up neatly and entered the little bottle.
"Snap!"
Gao Fei closed the bottle cap and then tucked the little bottle into his bosom.
"Such amazing bugs," Immortal Master Huang's voice ca from the gourd in amazent, "This is my first ti seeing bugs that can absorb deadly poison. Truly remarkable."
"Immortal Master Huang, you've seen much and know a lot, can you recognize the origin of these bugs?" Gao Fei asked, "Strictly speaking, these bugs are also part of the Demon Race, right?"
"They should be... the descendants of so kind of ancient mutant insect," Immortal Master Huang said uncertainly, "Only ancient mutant insects would have such defy-nature talents."
"Defy-nature talents?" Gao Fei laughed, "In your eyes, the ability to absorb deadly poison is a defy-nature talent?"
"Isn't it?" said Immortal Master Huang, "With these bugs by your side, it's like having an extra layer of protection. For example, just now, if it wasn't for these bugs appearing in ti, you could have been poisoned and might have even lost your life."
"You have a point," Gao Fei nodded, "These bugs really helped a lot."
After a brief conversation, Gao Fei stepped towards the deeper parts of the ancient tomb. After an experience with danger, he beca even more cautious.
On the way forward, Gao Fei encountered several more traps but ultimately evaded them all safely.
Soon, Gao Fei arrived at the end of the passage.
A massive stone gate stood before Gao Fei, about nine ters tall and six ters wide, adorned with strange carvings. Two stone lions, one male and one female, with glaring eyes and open mouths stood on either side of the gate, looking fiercely nacing.
Typically, ancient tombs would place statues of ferocious beasts to guard the tomb, commonly known as "Tomb Guardian Divine Beasts!"
"Open the Stone Gate, and then you can enter the Main Tomb Chamber," said Immortal Master Huang, "According to the map, the Innate Spiritual Treasure is in the Main Tomb Chamber."
Gao Fei inspected carefully to ensure there were no dangers before he approached, tried pushing the stone gate with his hands—it was incredibly heavy, easily tens of thousands of pounds. "Open for !" Gao Fei channeled his Qi, exerting force, and shoved hard with both hands.
"Bang!"
The stone gate shuddered, making a dull sound.
"Again!" Gao Fei mustered all his strength and pushed with his hands once more.
"Bang!!"
The stone gate shuddered again.
"Stop wasting your energy," Immortal Master Huang said, "This stone gate is imnsely heavy, trying to open it with your hands alone is near impossible... Better look around to see if there's a chanism, normally there would be one near the gate."
"I'll look for it," Gao Fei exhaled a breath of turbid air, then began searching for the chanism.
He looked to the left, then the right, felt around the top, then the bottom, and finally... he actually found the chanism.
Pressing down on a small protruding stone, the stone gate slowly opened.
"Whoosh... whoosh..."
At the mont the stone gate opened, the two stone lions suddenly breathed fire, and two jets of scorching fla burst forth toward Gao Fei.
"Damn!"
Gao Fei quickly leaped back; frustratingly... the two streams of fla turned and chased after him... The flas seed to have 'Spirituality,' no matter which direction Gao Fei escaped to, they always followed...
"Immortal Master Huang, what kind of flas are these that they keep chasing after ?" Gao Fei asked urgently.
"All things in the world have Spirituality, humans have it, the Demon Race has it... even flas have developed Spirituality..."
"Can you stop talking nonsense? Just tell quickly, what do I do to get rid of the flas?"
"You can't shake them off! You have to figure out a way to extinguish them."
"One must rely on oneself when in trouble!" Gao Fei slapped out a dozen palm strikes in one breath, his palm wind thunderous and intimidating, "Bang, bang, bang..." The two jets of fla flipped and flew, shattering Gao Fei's palm wind, and then charged towards Gao Fei.
"Swoosh!"
Gao Fei's palm suddenly held a large hamr, which he swung in a circle before smashing it towards the flas.
One blow followed by another, in the blink of an eye, he struck over a hundred tis, shattering the two flas. They then gathered back together, relentlessly pursuing Gao Fei.
"What the hell is this?" Gao Fei cursed angrily, "Indestructible, unquenchable! It's really infuriating!"
"This isn't an ordinary fla," Immortal Master Huang remarked.
"No shit! If it were an ordinary fla, it would have been extinguished by long ago."
"With your capabilities, it's impossible for you to extinguish the flas."
"Then what do you propose?"
"Open the gourd, let out, and I can extinguish the flas."
"Don't even think about it!" Gao Fei huffed, "I won't release you until I've obtained the Innate Spiritual Treasure."
"I'm trying to save you..."
"Even without you, I would still extinguish the flas on my own."
"Stop being so stubborn..."
"Thinking of burning to death? Not so easy!" Gao Fei perford the Heavenly Demon Tri-transformation, his strength rapidly rising, and with both hands, he gripped the large hamr and smashed it towards the two flas: "Extinguish!!!"
"Buzz!!"
"Boom!!!"
The two flas shattered, turning into countless points of light.
"Be extinguished!" Gao Fei, wielding the large hamr, smashed wildly… One after the other, the points of light were hit by the hamr, dispersed, and vanished.
In a mont, the two ferocious flas had completely disappeared.
"Huff... Huff huff..." Gao Fei bent over, gasping for air, "Immortal Master Huang, did you see that? Without your help, I managed to extinguish the flas all the sa."
"How did you do that?" Immortal Master Huang asked in astonishnt, "Why has your power increased so much?"
"That's my secret, which I cannot tell you." Gao Fei, carrying the hamr, walked over to the Stone Gate, "I'm going to smash you!" Suddenly, Gao Fei raised the hamr and struck at the two stone lions.
"Don't..." Immortal Master Huang cried out in alarm.
"Bang bang!"
"Crack... crack..."
The two stone lions were smashed into fragnts.
"Why did you try to stop ?" Gao Fei asked sowhat discontentedly.
"I was afraid you would encounter danger..." Immortal Master Huang said with a bitter smile, "You just saw, these two stone lions spew fire..."
"You're overthinking it," Gao Fei said, "These two stone lions could only spit fire once, and after that, they turned into trash, smashed to pieces by my hamr."
"Alright, let's not waste any more ti. Let's get going," Immortal Master Huang urged, "Behind the Stone Gate is the Main Tomb Chamber. The Innate Spiritual Treasure is hidden inside the Main Tomb Chamber."
Gao Fei nodded and, carrying the large hamr, moved forward.
Behind the Stone Gate was a huge tomb chamber with a Bronze Coffin placed in the middle.
"There's soone!" Gao Fei's expression changed, then he quickly retreated.
"Who? Where is soone? How could there be soone here?" Immortal Master Huang asked, bewildered.
"...My mistake..." Gao Fei said with embarrassnt, "It's a human figure statue, sculpted so lifelike it looks just like a real person." Four human figure statues were placed around the coffin, sculpted with exceptional skill, looking just like real people.
