Two groups of people were in a standoff.
On one side was Gao Fei and his group, on the other was Feng Chen and his companions.
Both sides glared at each other, neither willing to give in, and the atmosphere was rather tense.
Feng Chen gritted his teeth and said, "It's late. Please, Lord Gao, return to your guest room to rest."
"I'm not tired." Gao Fei smiled.
"Lord Gao!" Feng Chen stared at Gao Fei, his eyes cold and terrifying, "Do you really want to make an enemy out of ?"
"Are you trying to intimidate ?"

"You might be disappointed then!" Gao Fei shrugged, "Today, I must open up this crack and take a look below, and no one better try to stop ."

"Don't stop, keep digging." Gao Fei waved at Chen San and Liu Qing.

A group of fully ard soldiers closed in.
"Who dares!" Gao Fei glared, a powerful aura emanating from him, "I am an imperial envoy! If you lay a hand on , it's the sa as rebellion, and your entire families will be executed!"
"Uh..."
The encircling soldiers hesitated, seemingly intimidated by Gao Fei.
"What are you standing around for? Take action now!" Feng Chen shouted angrily.
"Those who wish to die, co at ," Gao Fei said coldly, "Think of your families and do not bring disaster upon them without cause."
The soldiers' hesitation deepened; they were rational people who understood that killing an imperial envoy was a grave cri, one that rited the execution of their entire families!

"Enough, stop pressuring them," Gao Fei curled his lips, "Even if you shout yourself hoarse, they won't dare to touch ." He added, "After all, this matter has nothing to do with them. The main responsibility lies with you. You can be driven to act in desperation, but there's no need for them to do the sa." After Gao Fei spoke these words, the expressions of the soldiers changed.
"Bastard!" Enraged, Feng Chen bellowed uncontrollably, "Damn you, Gao, I'm taking you on!" Feng Chen drew a longsword and slashed at Gao Fei.
"A re glimr dares to compete with the sun and moon." Gao Fei flipped his wrist and a large hamr appeared in his palm. He swung the hamr lightly with one hand, "Clang!" The hamr blocked the longsword falling from the sky, emitting a piercing noise.
"Thump thump thump!"
A trendous force burst from the hamr, knocking Feng Chen flying.

Feng Chen, like a kite with its string cut, traced a beautiful arc through the air before crashing heavily to the ground. His body twitched uncontrollably as blood stread from his mouth. The longsword in his hand also fell to the ground, leaving him looking utterly miserable.
Everyone present was dumbfounded!
Only Chen San and Liu Qing behaved quite normally. They were both well aware of Gao Fei's strength, so when they saw Gao Fei effortlessly defeat Feng Chen, they were not the least bit surprised.
Feng Chen was at the Fourth Layer of the Golden Core Stage, a full three minor realms above Gao Fei. Logically, Feng Chen should have won... but in the end, Gao Fei triumphed, which was truly shocking.
