Inside a private room.
A man and a woman were sitting around the dining table, devouring various seafood dishes while chatting and occasionally bursting into hearty laughter. The man was Gao Fei, and the woman was Liu ngyao.
"Gao Fei, with your impressive skills, it's really a waste for you not to be a cop," Liu ngyao suddenly remarked.
"A cop?" Gao Fei was taken aback for a mont. "I've never really thought about it..."

Liu ngyao didn't object and simply opened the car door and got in.

As Gao Fei stepped on the accelerator, the rcedes turned into a bolt of lightning and zood away.
Leaning on the soft car seat, Liu ngyao looked through the window at the scenery outside. "I finally understand why you don't want to be a cop."

"I was born into a family of cops," Liu ngyao said slowly. "My grandfather, father, and brother are all policen. Influenced by them since I was young, I also aspired to be a cop one day. Eventually, my dream ca true, and I've been a cop for over two years, dealing with all sorts of cases every day.

"ngyao, tell the truth, are you dating a boyfriend?" her mother asked kindly.
"No?" Liu ngyao was taken aback.
"Don't lie to us!" her mother laughed. "We saw it!"
"What did you see?" Liu ngyao looked puzzled.
"I want to know, was there a boy who just brought you ho?"

"I saw it from the window! I couldn't make out his face because it was too far away, but his silhouette looked rather fine. Tell about this boy, what's his na? Where does he work? What's his family like?"

"It was a false alarm." Her mother sighed with disappointnt. Her father and brother also showed disappointed faces. Liu ngyao was already 28 years old, not young anymore. If she delayed any longer, she would truly beco a leftover woman.
What are parents most concerned about? Isn't it their children's lifelong matters?

Liu ngyao looked at herself in the mirror and felt sowhat gloomy. Being a normal woman, of course, she wanted a man's affection, but... the n around her just didn't catch her eye.
