"Chen Feiyang, you block Gao Fei while I retrieve the longsword and then co back to help you slay him," Huyan Wudi called out, then staggered and stumbled towards the longsword.
Chen Feiyang spread his arms to block Gao Fei, "As long as I'm here, you can forget about getting past ..."
"Go to hell," Gao Fei lashed out with a kick that sent Chen Feiyang tumbling, then strode towards Huyan Wudi, "I've been fighting since I was three, and by fourteen, I was the boss of the alleys, no one dared to ss with ! Even without my cultivation and True Qi, beating the two of you is still a piece of cake."
In the blink of an eye, Gao Fei caught up to Huyan Wudi and threw a punch straight at his face.
With his cultivation gone, Huyan Wudi was much slower and watched the fist coming at him, unable to dodge in ti.
"Bang!"
The punch to the face caused Huyan Wudi to grit his teeth in pain.
"Take another one!"
"Bang!"
This ti Gao Fei's punch hit Huyan Wudi squarely in the nose, "crack!" The bone broke, and blood flowed from his nostrils.
"I'm going to fight you to the death!" Huyan Wudi roared and flung his arms around, rushing at Gao Fei.
"Boom!"
Gao Fei kicked Huyan Wudi, sending him flying, "Hahaha! That feels great! What's the Ninth Layer of Golden Core Stage anyway? Now you're still crying for your daddy and mommy!" Taking advantage, Gao Fei began to punch and kick Huyan Wudi viciously, leaving him screaming in agony.
Chen Feiyang stepped forward to rescue him but was knocked to the ground by Gao Fei's punch, nose bleeding, unable to get up.
"Bang!"
Gao Fei kicked Huyan Wudi, "You dared to be arrogant! You dared to chase after ! You dared to provoke !" Kicking and cursing, in just a mont, Huyan Wudi's face was covered in blood, lying on the ground, barely able to breathe.
"That's all you've got?"
Gao Fei looked down with disdain, "You can't take much of a beating!"
"Please... spare my life..." Huyan Wudi pleaded intermittently.
"What's that? Speak up, I can't hear you!" Gao Fei shook his head.
"Please... let go... I beg you..." Huyan Wudi used all his strength to plead, "Please... don't kill ... I don't want to die..."
"Beg ?" Gao Fei laughed loudly, pointing at Huyan Wudi's nose, "You're actually begging ? Aren't you the mighty Sect Leader of Ninefold Mountain, with the cultivation of the Ninth Layer of the Golden Core Stage? How can you beg for rcy? That's quite a codown, isn't it!"
"I realize my mistake... I shouldn't have provoked you... please let go... I don't want to die..." Huyan Wudi begged for rcy out of desperation; he truly did not want to die, especially not in such a pathetic way.
"If the roles were reversed, would you spare ?" Gao Fei asked.
"I would, I would let you go," Huyan Wudi nodded frantically.
"Damn!" Gao Fei cursed, "Shaless liar, talking with your eyes wide open!"
"I really realize my mistake, please let go."
"No can do," Gao Fei shook his head, "I don't want to leave any threats for myself. You hate enough to want dead, and once you regain your cultivation, you'll definitely co to kill ."
"I wouldn't, I absolutely wouldn't, I swear."
"Swearing is worthless, would soone like you keep your word! Stop talking and save so dignity for yourself."
"Please..."
"Listen closely, in the next life, don't co bothering again." Saying that, Gao Fei stepped on Huyan Wudi's neck, applying pressure gradually.
Huyan Wudi was terrified, struggling desperately, "Don't kill , please don't..."
"Crack!"
Gao Fei snapped Huyan Wudi's neck with his foot, and just like that, a once-great individual died an utterly inglorious death.
"Now for you." Gao Fei turned and walked towards Chen Feiyang, "I'm going to send you to the Underworld to reunite with your son."
"Don't co over, please don't!" Chen Feiyang scread in terror, "Don't kill , I beg you, I don't want to die... Gao Fei, Brother Gao, Lord Gao, Ancestor Gao, I'm begging you, let go, I promise I will never provoke you again..."
"If you knew this would happen, why did you do it in the first place?" Gao Fei said emotionlessly, "Chen Feiyang, your son is already dead, what's the point in living? Better to head to the Underworld to keep him company, Chen Baobao must miss you a lot." Gao Fei raised his foot, stepping on Chen Feiyang's head.
"Don't kill , please don't..." Chen Feiyang broke down crying.
"Crying now?" Gao Fei's mouth curled up slightly, "How pathetic!"
"Right, I'm worthless, I'm not human, I'm a beast, I'm scum... You can punish however you want, just please spare my life, I really don't want to die," Chen Feiyang pleaded tearfully.
"Seeing you so pitiful almost makes feel a little sympathy," Gao Fei sneered, "But I still have to kill you, because I don't want to leave any threats for myself. Go accompany your son."
Chen Feiyang ultimately died as well.
More than a hundred people entered the Space Channel at the sa ti, but in the end, only Gao Fei survived. The mortality rate reached ninety-nine percent.
...
Gao Fei walked over, picked up the big hamr and the longsword. He not only killed his enemy but also obtained a treasure of decent quality. The deal was more than worth it.
With Huyan Wudi dead, the ntal Power attached to the longsword also dissipated. Now the longsword was masterless. Gao Fei attached his own ntal Power to the longsword, and from that mont on, its new master was Gao Fei.
Gao Fei stored the big hamr and longsword in his storage ring. (Although he had lost his cultivation, his ntal Power was still there, and it was still possible to open the storage ring, albeit with so difficulty.) Gao Fei closed his eyes and used his ntal Power to contact Xuan Jizi, "I've lost my cultivation, my True Qi is also gone, and my Dantian is dead and silent. What's going on?"
"You must have injured your Dantian." Xuan Jizi speculated. "The Dantian is the lifeline of a cultivator. Once the Dantian is damaged, you will lose your cultivation and your True Qi will dissipate."
"What should I do now?" asked Gao Fei.
"There are three thods to repair the Dantian."
"Three? That many? Tell quickly, what are the three thods?"
"The first thod is to use Spiritual dicine to repair it, the second thod is to cultivate a spell that restores the Dantian, and the third thod is to wait patiently. The Dantian has a self-healing function, so if you wait a few years, it will gradually repair itself."
"What? Wait a few years? That's too long; I can't wait!" Gao Fei imdiately dismissed the third thod.
"The first and second thods, however, are worth a try. Tell , which Spiritual dicines do I need?"
"I only know that Spiritual dicines can repair the Dantian, but exactly which ones, I'm not sure, because I've never used them."
"Aren't you supposed to know everything?"
"...Did I ever say that? If I did, it was nonsense. You can't take it seriously."
"It seems that I still have to rely on myself." Gao Fei sighed. "I'll go look for Spiritual dicines right now. I must repair my Dantian!"
...
It took Gao Fei three days to walk out of the desert, and then he saw a huge city ahead with a signboard above the city gate inscribed with the words "Desert City." Two rows of soldiers clad in armor and holding spears stood at the entrance, standing tall and proud, exuding a fierce aura.
At that mont, a caravan was heading toward the city gate. Gao Fei followed quietly and easily blended into the city.
The streets were wide and smooth, with tall buildings on both sides mostly made of stone, and a few wooden attics, all beautifully shaped. Looking around, beyond stone buildings were wooden ones, with hardly any single-story houses in sight.
The first impression Desert City gave Gao Fei was "prosperous," the second was "solemn and dignified," and the third was "large."
"I need to find a place to settle in first." Gao Fei wandered around the streets for a while and then found an inn. Upon inquiring, Gao Fei frowned; to stay required silver, and without it, there would be no accommodation.
"Innkeeper, can we negotiate?" Gao Fei smiled. "I left in a hurry and forgot to bring silver. Can I use sothing else instead?"
"Of course, as long as it's sothing valuable," the innkeeper nodded his head.
Gao Fei searched his pockets and finally took out a jade pendant. "How about this item?"
"Hmm, the quality is quite good," the innkeeper took the pendant and after inspecting it, nodded. "It's worth ten taels of silver."
"How long can ten taels of silver last ?"
"About a month."
"Fine, then, one month."
And so, Gao Fei settled down in the inn, in the furthest room on the second floor. It was not very spacious but it was quiet.
In the following days, Gao Fei left early and returned late, appearing very tired each ti, not even taking a bath, just taking off his shoes and falling into a deep sleep on the bed.
After a few days of inquiry, Gao Fei finally understood the situation here.
Indeed, this place was an independent space, vast in size, rich in Spiritual Energy— a paradise for cultivators!
Of course, it was not called an "independent space," but "Elysium," the implication being simple: It was hoped that the people living there would be happy, joyful, and carefree.
Elysium was vast and endless, with three major forces divided into the Human Race, the Demon Race, and the Demon Clan, with Human Territory being the largest, followed by the Demon Race, and the smallest being the Demon Clan's territory.
The leader of the Human Race was known as the "Human Emperor."
The leader of the Demon Race was known as the "Demon Emperor."
The leader of the Demon Clan was known as the "Demon Emperor."
The Human Emperor, the Demon Emperor, and the Demon Emperor of the Demon Clan were all Great Cultivators at the Transcendance Tribulation Stage, and they were the rulers of Elysium.
On the surface, the three races coexisted peacefully, but in reality, they were constantly in conflict and bore deep grudges. However, they were forcibly suppressed by the three Emperors, and thus a large-scale battle had not broken out among the races.
As long as the three Emperors existed, Elysium would remain as steady as a rock.
Gao Fei was lucky; after falling out of the Space Channel, he landed directly in the Human Territory. Beneath his feet, Desert City was a city with a long history, reportedly built by the people assigned by the first Human Emperor, taking decades to complete. It was one of the largest cities in the Human Territory.
