Dennis stared at Brad, who was looking back at him with an uneasy expression. Then Brad looked down at his feet, as if wishing they would just move and carry him away from there. Dennis folded his arms across his chest, and Daisy, standing beside him, put her hands on her hips; both of them waited for what Brad was going to say. Then, with a shaky voice,

"Sorry. All this ti I thought you were the one she was seeing behind my back because she always used your na and claid she was busy being your emotional support," Brad said.

"Now it’s clear it wasn’t , right?" Dennis said, sounding slightly annoyed.

"So you were always a jerk to Dennis just because of a misunderstanding? And you’re not going to apologize?" Daisy asked, shooting straight from the hip while handing Brad back his smartphone.

Brad went quiet instantly. He ran a hand through his hair and looked away, then took a deep breath and let it out. He turned back to Dennis and reached out his hand.

"Forgive . I’ve been rough on you and you could say I bullied you all this ti because I thought you were the one sleeping with my wife... my soon-to-be ex-wife," Brad said, looking sincere.

"It’s fine. I’m not worried about it," Dennis said casually while shaking Brad’s hand.

"Can I have the files you have?" Brad asked after letting go and turning to Daisy.

"Yeah, I’ll send them to you. If you hadn’t apologized and realized your mistake, I wouldn’t have sent them," Daisy said firmly.

"I know, forgive once again. From now on, I won’t be targeting Dennis anymore because everything is clear now. I also want to apologize to you, because all this ti I thought you weren’t a good person either... I’m sorry," Brad replied, bowing his head.

Hearing Brad’s words, Daisy looked satisfied. She imdiately asked for Brad’s number and sent him the compilation file regarding Bella. In exchange, she requested the chat history between Bella and Brad as supporting evidence. After Brad provided his chat logs, she spoke up.

"Well, it’s up to you now—what you want to do with that data," Daisy said.

"Okay, thank you. I’m going to put this data to good use," Brad replied confidently, and from the look on his face, he clearly knew exactly what he had to do.

"You should take your cousin down, too... don’t just let him off the hook," Dennis added.

"Yeah, that’s exactly my plan. There’s a family get-together this week, the usual weekend hangout, and he’ll definitely be there with his wife and kids," Brad replied. He seed to have regained his composure, though beneath the surface, it was obvious how furious he was at Bella and Silas.

"Alright then. Peace?" Dennis asked, extending his hand.

"Peace. Again, I’m sorry," Brad answered.

"Let bygones be bygones. We should probably head down before the break is over," Dennis said.

"Yeah, I get that, but I’m leaving right after this. I’ll ask the teachers for permission to handle so personal business; I’m sure they’ll understand," Brad countered.

"Go ahead. Just to be clear, Daisy and I are done with Bella and you, okay?" Dennis said, making sure one last ti.

"Yeah. You have nothing to do with Bella, even if you were her childhood friend," Brad said.

"My childhood friend is dead. I don’t know the Bella that exists now," Dennis replied.

"Okay, fair enough," Brad said.

"And please don’t get it twisted again. Dennis doesn’t need emotional support because he has . He and I are happy; we don’t need outside emotional support because we support each other emotionally. You get it, right?" Daisy replied.

"I get it. There won’t be any more misunderstandings," Brad replied.

The three of them then walked toward the door. When Dennis pulled it open—"thump"—Ivan, Sasha, Hyunjin, Minji, Akira, Rika, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly imdiately tumbled inside, piling on top of each other. Dennis had to jump out of the way; it seed they had all been pressed against the door trying to eavesdrop.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" Brad asked, confused.

"Wow... you’re finally back to your senses? That’s great. I guess that talk actually worked. Hey, Ivan, get up, you’re heavy! My poor wife is getting crushed under down here," Hyunjin answered.

"Ugh... so heavy," Minji groaned from underneath Hyunjin.

"Sasha... hurry up and get up," Ivan said, glancing at Sasha, whose face was buried in his shoulder.

"Uh... I’m being crushed by Olivia and Kimberly," Sasha said.

"Sorry! Jason, please get up," Kimberly said.

"I can’t, my arm is tangled with Gary’s," Jason replied.

"Yeah, he’s right. Sorry about that," Gary added, looking completely twisted up with Jason.

"Ugh... I might actually die here," Olivia muttered, sounding defeated.

"Honey, you’re on the very top, hurry up and stand up," Rika said to her husband, Akira.

"I can’t, my legs are tangled up with Ivan and Sasha," Akira replied.

Dennis, Daisy, and Brad just sighed as they watched their friends beco a tangled heap of intertwined arms and legs in front of them. Eventually, they helped their friends out, untangling them one by one until everyone was standing. Once everyone was back on their feet, Brad explained everything and apologized to his teammates.

Imdiately, Ivan, Hyunjin, and Akira hugged Brad, telling him it was understandable given the problems he was facing. Rika, Sasha, and Minji nodded along, but it was clear from the looks on their faces that they felt a sense of relief too.

anwhile, Dennis and Daisy explained everything to Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly, telling them that the matter was finally settled. This brought them a sense of relief, though Olivia pouted slightly because Dennis and Daisy weren’t going to use the legal services from her father’s office after all. Afterward, both the senior and junior teams walked together toward the cafeteria because they wouldn’t have ti to grab their own packed lunches and chose to eat together there instead. As they walked, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly pulled Dennis and Daisy back a bit.

"Are you two really okay?" Gary asked.

"We’re fine, just relax. The problem is solved," Dennis answered.

"Yeah, for real. Thanks, though," Daisy added.

"That’s good then, but my dad’s firm missed out on a client," Olivia said.

"Why don’t you try asking Brad? See if he has a lawyer yet," Kimberly suggested.

"Oh, that’s a good point. I’ll ask him while we’re eating," Olivia replied.

"Enough, stop the whispering. It’s awkward," Jason replied.

"Yeah, he’s right," Dennis added.

They continued walking and when arrived, they sat down at a long table after buying their food. Naturally, they caught the attention of the other students—juniors, classmates, and seniors alike. Hyunjin turned to look at Brad.

"So, do you know what you have to do now?" Hyunjin asked.

"Yeah. I’m heading out after this. You want to co with ?" Brad asked.

"Okay, I’ll go with you... is that alright, babe?" Hyunjin asked Minji.

"Go ahead, I’ll just go ho on my own... with Sasha and Ivan," Minji answered, understanding the situation.

"I’m coming too. You go ho on your own, okay, honey? I need to support my friend," Akira said.

"No, I’m coming too," Rika countered.

"Alright then, let’s go," Akira replied.

"Oh yeah, do you have a lawyer yet, Brad? It just so happens my dad’s office is a law firm, I can help out," Olivia said.

"Hmm... sure, let get the number," Brad said.

Olivia imdiately and cheerfully gave Brad her father’s office number. Brad noted it down right away and called them on the spot to make an appointnt for that very day. Everyone listened until Brad hung up the phone. anwhile, Olivia looked delighted that her father’s office had secured a client. Ivan spoke up imdiately, not letting any silence linger between them.

"Keep posted on the results, I’ll be waiting," Ivan said.

"Definitely. Dennis, Daisy, Olivia—once again, thank you. Everything is possible now, and there’s no way I’ll lose in court," Brad replied sincerely.

"You’re welco," Dennis, Daisy, and Olivia replied in unison.

"Thank God everything is settled," Jason said.

"Right? Now we don’t have to keep clashing with each other anymore," Kimberly said.

"Yep, that’s true. It’s nice like this; if only it had been this way from the start," Sasha said while eating.

"Well, that’s how it goes. It wasn’t ant to be back then, but at least now we’re all hanging out together," Olivia said.

"I still rember him slicing my neck, though," Sasha joked, pointing at Dennis.

"Sorry, I was possessed back then," Dennis said.

"Hey, stop talking about that already. My husband already apologized, co on," Daisy replied irritably, imdiately pushing down Sasha’s finger that was pointing at Dennis’s face.

"Haha... relax, I’m kidding. I know what happened; you guys already told the story," Sasha said.

"Don’t bring that up again, Shasa," Minji said.

"It’s fine, whatever. Just relax," Sasha replied to Minji.

"Oh yeah, Brad isn’t in the group yet," Gary reminded them.

"Ah, you’re right. I’ll add him," Ivan replied, glancing at Brad.

"Okay, go ahead and add ," Brad replied.

Ivan imdiately added Brad to the group, and the team was finally complete. They went back to eating calmly and casually while chatting. Seeing the two varsity teams—the seniors and the juniors—eating together in peace and looking like regular friends made the students who happened to be in the cafeteria start to have a different perspective on Dennis.
