"How much longer are you going to keep this third-grade codic segnt going, My Lord's ti is too valuable to be wasted by the likes of you, Get yourself together," Queresha spoke coldly with her red eyes glinting.
Kanae and Zenobia sighed since Queresha would act weirdly when things were related to Haru. But she agreed and wanted this to end.
Seris and lzri were back on their knees just like when they were brought to the room, It was an unconscious action without their control.
"My Lord please continue," Queresha spoke to Haru with a smile.
'I didn't even start, And are you really not going to untie those ropes?' Haru sighed at the sight of the two Scythes who were tied in a bit of a weird way.
"Ahem*, then let tell you what happened to you," Haru cleared his throat and spoke while looking at Seris and lzri's faces.
'It looks like he is the boss here, I can't sense how powerful he is, But the two won are way too strong maybe even stronger than the purebloods, There are too many things to worry about,' Seris thought while looking at Haru who was explaining to lzri and her about how they were caught.
The more they heard it the more shocked they beca; They were caught the mont they stepped past the iron gates and were stuck in an illusion this whole ti. Here they thought that they had finished their task and were back on Alacrya planning things for the coming war.
Seris was shocked and her brain stopped working for a bit after hearing Haru's words even lzri couldn't speak. They were fucked basically, they were caught by people from whom they can't escape, they knew that Agrona wouldn't bother saving them and when Haru spoke about how he t Agrona they understood further that they were as good as dead now.
"If you want to kill us then be done with it, Why are you humiliating us in thi-" lzri who was speaking in rage was cut off by Kanae.
"Keep talking like and you might get your wish, From now on don't speak unless you are asked to," Kanae's cold glare closed lzri's mouth.
Kanae looked at Queresha who had cald down to an extent and sighed because if she didn't intervene here Queresha would do sothing about lzri. As for what she would do? Well, lzri would be better off dead.
And there was another reason that she interjected before Queresha roughs up lzri.
'What are you playing at Haru? I just hope it isn't sothing that will put you in danger,' Kanae looked at Haru who had just finished explaining to them. She knew Haru was up to sothing, she was extrely curious and worried as well. In fact, she is the one who is the most worried about Haru not that she would agree to it.
'It is as I was thinking; We have been discarded but if so why did this guy keep us alive? What does he want? I need to figure it out, I can't die like this. I need to complete my mission, I need to stop that man,' Seris was looking at the ground desperately trying to co up with so type of explanation.
What does he want from us? That was the question running in both lzri and Seris's minds, There has to be a reason he kept them alive. It surely wasn't out of lust, one would be able to figure that out just by seeing how Haru only looked at their eyes without looking at their bodies which were tied with ropes in a…..rather lewd way. they were proud of their appearance and knew many n would look at them with lecherous gazes if they see them in their current state.
It can't be information either since they were literally stuck in an illusion for a full day without even realizing it, So if he wanted information he could've gotten it easily.
And the most unlikely one was that Haru was trying to recruit them since they have been discarded by Agrona, Seris felt that this was the least likely one, since Haru didn't need soone as weak as them plus they are nothing more than ticking ti bombs, The two won in the room were terrifying enough and since they still had the soul seal Agrona could kill them at any...mont...
'Wait, How are we still alive? There is no way we would be left alive like this,' Seris's eyes widened and she looked up to et a pair of red eyes.
"Took you long enough," Haru spoke as the world around them froze in ti. Everything stopped in their place Seris could see the drop of sweat that had fallen off of lzri's forehead hanging in the air.
Seris looked at Haru as if asking if she can speak.
"You can speak freely now, This is an illusion, No one will know about it," Haru spoke with a wry smile, Queresha always acted a bit too over the top, he was glad that Kanae stepped in or things would've been dicey.
But he likes when Queresha acts this way and finds it extrely cute for so reason.
'Am I weird or sothing?' The question arose in his mind but he shook his head.
"When you say no one….does that an?" Seris asked a bit cautiously but Haru nodded understanding her aning.
Seeing him nod Seris's eyes widened as she looked down clenching her hand, If what Haru told her was true then, No he didn't have any reason to lie to her. It was all clear now, She knew what she had to do. After taking a deep breath to compose herself before speaking.
"Why did you keep us alive, No it would be better if I asked you why did you save us from Agrona? There should be no need for that since we tried to take Zenobia away on his orders,"
Hearing Seris's question Haru smiled slightly, It looked like she misunderstood sothing about the situation but…
'There is no need to clear it up,' Haru looked at the nervous Seris since she just gave out information to check sothing and she was correct.
'The….Soul seal didn't activate, did he do sothing again?' Seris looked at Haru trying to figure out what happened, she knew that her move was a stupid one considering if she was wrong she would die but she was dead either way now, so she took the chance.
"That was quite stupid of you, I thought you wanted to accomplish sothing," Haru spoke plainly.
"How did you know that? Ah~!" Seris was taken aback and tried to stand up only to fall down with a very lewd squeal.
'These damn ropes, Why are they so tight?' Seris blushed as she saw Haru look away while scratching his cheek. She was in a bit of trouble here since she was gasping quite badly trying to stabilize her breathing. there was sothing definitely wrong with the ropes.
"I forgot about those," Haru spoke and Seris was free from the ropes, she looked at him thankfully as she stood up and straightened out her black dress.
"So shall we talk properly now Seris?" Haru said making a chair and table appear in front of him.
"If you would allow to," Seris spoke with asured words and sat down on the chair, She was very surprised by the illusion but her mind was on sothing else entirely at the mont.
Haru nodded with a smile and they started their discussion.
After a few hours…..
"Haru was it really a good idea to let them go?" Jin-ah who just woke up asked Haru.
"Don't worry about them," Haru spoke with a smile kissing a sleepy Jin-ah's forehead.
"mhm, Okie~," Jin-ah gave up easily since she was too lazy to try and piece things together.
"You give up way too easily Jin-ah," Hae-in said and lifted her head off the table, her hair was still a ss since she has just woken up herself.
"I don't have the energy to beco Sherlock first thing in the morning, Queresha Unnie I am hungry, Food Quick Please," Jin-ah spoke making Hae-in roll her eyes since Jin-ah was being lazy even while talking, no wonder she didn't bother asking for details.
But before her thought could go forward she felt a warm hand combing through her hair.
"I will be going to the academy then," Haru said while taming Hae-in's wild hair and kissing her goodbye.
'Well, Whatever,' Hae-in just laid her head on the table and decided to wait for breakfast as well.
