With an aggressive and ruthless style, his counterparts in the industry were intimidated by him.
However, he had heard about Jun Shi’s son before.
Although the Jun Family led a low-profile private life, rumors had always filtered out. It was said that Third Young Master Jun was an illegitimate son, unloved by Jun Shi. The old master was also indifferent to him, throwing him abroad to fend for himself.
Now he’s back? Upon processing this information, Dong Zhangfeng’s respect vanished.
Hmph, rely an unloved pampered rich second-generation brat, acting so high and mighty.
"Third Young Master, what brings you to today?" he asked contemptuously, brushing off Third Young Master Jun’s presence.
Feiyu quietly shook his head. Poor Dong Zhangfeng, he thought, he’s in for a bad day.
How dare he speak to Third Young Master in such a tone.
If he knew what the Third Young Master had accomplished overseas, he would most likely regret it to the point of suicide.
"From Boss Dong’s tone, it seems our transaction is off. I, Third Young Master Jun, don’t like to force people, so let it be."
Third Young Master Jun stood up nonchalantly, ready to leave the place, with Feiyu following close behind, wrapping things up cleanly.
This made Dong Zhangfeng sowhat uneasy.
What’s with Third Young Master? He didn’t even bother to discuss any business, just left without attempting to negotiate, as if he didn’t care at all. It was infuriating.
"Third Young Master, since you’re here, why not tell what matters you had in mind. Maybe I could consider it," he couldn’t resist his curiosity and followed them.
"You rejected my offer. If you want to speak again, then you’ll have to beg," Third Young Master Jun said arrogantly.
Flushed with anger, Dong Zhangfeng snorted disdainfully. What pretentious second-generation rich kid, expecting him to beg.
A joke!
Soon after, Third Young Master Jun left the President’s office.
Feiyu, trailing behind, looked back at him sympathetically, "Boss Dong, just a reminder, there were so discrepancies in your financial report for the project you developed three years ago in XX city."
Having said that, he left in a leisurely manner.
Dong Zhangfeng was startled. What did he just say? How could they know about that? It was an internal secret known by only a few people in their company.
As Dong Zhangfeng was still perplexed, the General Manager stord into the room, on the verge of panic.
"We have a problem, Boss. This morning, an anonymous short selling institution released a financial analysis of our company accusing us of fraudulent activities and paper transactions with big custors in the DK project. The report ca out of nowhere but quickly made it to the front pages of major financial websites, and it’s spreading like wildfire."
"What?"
Dong Zhangfeng paled, startled out of his wits. He knew very well the consequences of a short selling analysis report. His face changed drastically, and he yelled.
"Quick, have our PR Departnt and major online dia remove this news at once."
"We can’t, it’s clear that the other party prepared beforehand and they’ve paid off the financial section, so we can’t take it down."
The General Manager also appeared worried.
"Most importantly, the data in the report... aren’t baseless. Many investors have now beco suspicious and started to sell off their shares. Our stock has plumted rapidly, falling by two percentage points in a short ti. We’ve evaporated three hundred million just this morning!"
This sudden incident was severe and was only getting worse. The General Manager could barely comprehend the potential consequences.
"Three hundred million..." Dong Zhangfeng felt physical pain at the thought. In such a short ti, three hundred million was gone. It was infuriating. The Nanfeng Corporation was a company he had built from scratch, it embodied decades of his hard work and efforts.
