Her breath hitched, she couldn’t help but step back, her face turning pale.

He knew from the start that Gu Yan would never believe that he didn’t lay a hand on her, so he didn’t bother doing anything.
And she had always believed that Gu Yan would trust her. She returned with such joy and anticipation for a new beginning, a brighter tomorrow, only to end up in this heartbreaking predicant.

The greater the anticipation, the greater the disappointnt. The more naive, the more brutal the reality.
She is even blinder than Third Young Master Jun.
