He had an inkling sothing was amiss. This woman usually made an effort to feign decency in front of him, but today she was brazenly dropping the pretense. What this ant was clear - she wouldn’t let him off lightly.
He slowly reached for the phone next to his bed.
"Dream on, old man! Still sharp even on your deathbed, trying to call the police, huh?" Yuan Jiayin rushed forward, yanked the telephone from his grasp, and smashed it onto the floor, shattering it into pieces.
Angered, Old Sir Shang fell back onto bed, his breathing ragged and uneven.
"You deceitful woman, your true colors are finally out."
