"Get moving, take to the hospital, now!"
He harshly grabs her and rushes towards the garage, forgetting about Yuan Jiayin, leaving her at the door. Yuan Jiayin’s face turns pale and then red, she can only hurriedly catch up with them.
Upon reaching the hospital, Shang Jingchen, with a face full of guilt, rushes in to see Old Sir Shang.
Ye Lu doesn’t go inside, she just sits in the rest lounge outside the ward.
Yuan Jiayin doesn’t enter either, she fixes her cold gaze on Ye Lu’s face, sitting opposite her in the rest lounge’s sofa.
"So, Ye Lu, do you really love being the other woman so much? Jingchen has already abandoned you, yet you insist on clinging to him stubbornly. You’ve really disgraced us won. Do you have any self-respect?" The tone was filled with sarcasm.
She had to hit this woman hard, forcing her away from Jingchen. Such young girls, arrogant and unyielding, are most impatient and can’t take humiliation.
As long as she can make her lose her temper or get physical, and let Jingchen see it, she will have the upper hand.
But Ye Lu just kept her head down and continued to check her phone, not uttering a word.
Yuan Jiayin hurled a few more sarcastic comnts, harsh and provocative, the kind that would make any ordinary person seethe with anger.
Yet, Ye Lu still ignored her.
Yuan Jiayin narrowed her eyes, she couldn’t believe this woman was actually ignoring her.
Walking over to her, she snatched her phone away.
Only then did Ye Lu raise her head, looking bewildered, as she pulled two ear plugs out of her ears.
"What did you say?"
What a pretender, Yuan Jiayin was livid, "What do you an by plugging your ears?"
"Recently, a dog’s been barking non-stop, so annoying. Thought I might as well plug my ears for so peace." Ye Lu replied innocently, shrugging her shoulders.
After their encounter in the church, she’d seen Yuan Jiayin’s true colors.
But with so won, the more attention you give them, the more satisfied they beco.
So rather than wasting her breath, she decided to block out the noise and take a nap. It’s exhausting responding to all that provocation.
Yuan Jiayin was furious, wasn’t that a direct jibe at her, calling her a dog? What a wretched woman.
"I’m saying you’re a shaless mistress."
"Oh!"
Her nonchalant response darkened Yuan Jiayin’s expression even more.
"Don’t you have any self-respect?"
"Nope!"
"You..." Nothing was more infuriating than encountering soone shaless. Yuan Jiayin felt like she was hitting cotton with her punches, only driving herself mad.
"Are you done talking? If so, I’m going to plug my ears again." Ye Lu continued to stick her ear plugs back in, completely ignoring her, and went back to leisurely checking her phone.
Hmph, when it cos to provocation, she wouldn’t lose. Kicking up a fuss was the most basic form of retaliation.
You can provoke all you want, but I won’t make a sound, I’ll just annoy you to death. That’s the cleverest response.
An hour later, Shang Jingchen ca out with a somber expression.
Yuan Jiayin imdiately switched to a worried expression, tears welled up in her eyes, "How is grandpa, has his condition improved? It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have insisted on taking you abroad. What to do? If anything happens to grandpa, I will never forgive myself!"
"This isn’t your fault, the person to bla is . If it wasn’t for my carelessness in losing my phone, this wouldn’t have happened."
Shang Jingchen was heartbroken, he never thought that this incident would make his grandpa seriously ill.
"Jiayin, I’m sorry, I’ve promised my grandpa that I won’t divorce within a year." His voice filled with guilt.
From his tone of voice, Yuan Jiayin knew that given the old man’s current condition, Shang Jingchen, feeling guilty as he did, would promise anything.
She had to act tactfully.
"I understand, your grandpa’s health is the most important thing. Actually, I feel very guilty, causing grandpa to get like this.
