Don’t underestimate this thing, it contains quite a bit of high-tech stuff. After Professor Du Le demonstrated it to her once, Yiyi’s eyes lit up with astonishnt and she quickly stored it away.
Madam Roland ca out holding their pet dog atball, stroked its head a few tis, and looked at atball with affectionate eyes. She spoke to Yiyi: "We’re busy today and don’t have ti to take the little one out for a walk. You take it out to play; it can’t be bored all day!"
Yiyi hurriedly took the little atball-like creature into her arms.
atball’s fur is a earthy yellow, fluffy, and looks chubby. It looks pretty ordinary, and its breed is definitely just a regular dog breed, definitely not one of those trendy noble pedigree dogs.
But this little one has its own charm, with big watery eyes, a short and small figure, and usually exhibits actions that are cute and silly, often being amusing. When Yiyi lived here, she quite liked it.
The little one initially acted indifferent to her, very proud, and later showed a condescending generosity to play with her.
This little one is Professor Du Le’s beloved, always joyfully taking it for walks by the sea every day, almost treating it better than his son. It’s amazing he’s willing to let take it out today.
atball struggled in her arms, stretching its round head and barking towards Professor Du Le.
Its big watery eyes looked pitifully anxious, calling out with a sense of abandonnt, which tugged at people’s hearts. But Professor Du Le never looked at it once, just turned his head aside and coldly gazed at the sea outside the villa.
Yiyi was sowhat surprised by his indifference. Today, Professor Du Le seed nothing like the usual good-natured, cheerful professor.
"Alright, go on, don’t waste ti." Madam Roland patted her shoulder, her smile deep and complex. "Take good care of this little one."
Yiyi nodded and got in the car to leave.
Professor Du Le and Madam Roland watched as Yiyi drove away, their expressions turned somber again. Hand in hand, they walked to the beach, gazing at the endless sea silently, faces filled with sadness.
The sound of the waves echoed. Despite the clear sky, it gave a feeling like a storm is about to co.
Madam Roland sighed, her usually carefree personality now quite saddened: "For the past ten years we’ve been hiding, always hoping to find a peaceful life and spend the rest of our lives well. I really like this little town; I thought I could spend the rest of my life here, but unexpectedly we still have to leave."
"I’ve dragged you down," Professor Du Le held her hand tenderly, smiling bitterly.
Madam Roland teased and laughed: "What do you an by dragging down, humph, if I hadn’t insisted on following you, you wouldn’t have been able to drag down. It’s my own choice, no matter what, rember, I’ll never regret it! Still, this ti, alas, can we escape it?"
Professor Du Le, seeing his beloved wife having no complaints, felt both moved and guilty. What once was ambitious had long been extinguished in that upheaval, and now he just wanted to accompany his wife. Unfortunately, he continued to drag her on a fugitive journey with him.
"I don’t know. Although many reports believe I’m dead, how could those senior officials from major countries truly not suspect? Eagle Country has been secretly pursuing , and many other countries are secretly looking for . They all want to be the first to capture and obtain the secret technical information of the joint developnt of the Six Nations that I hold."
