Yiyi’s gaze was bright, looking at him hopefully.

She believed there was nothing to be guilty about. If she intended to be evasive, she could concoct a more reasonable story with more sophisticated skills. After all, when it cos to lying, she excelled at it and could lie through her teeth.

It was just because he was the one interrogating her, and because she had a special liking for him at first glance, that she decided to be utterly truthful, recounting her experiences without any concealnt, hoping it might help him.

What she hadn’t expected was that such complete honesty would invite even greater suspicion.

She found it both laughable and exasperating, feeling a tinge of bitterness in her heart.

"A few unconvincing words cannot prove your innocence," Ling Kong’s eyes grew darker and colder. "Moreover, there are many loopholes in the whole situation that even you might find hard to explain."

"What loopholes?" she couldn’t help but ask.

"First, look at these recordings."

Ling Kong released her, slicing the air with a cold eye, and a 3D virtual display screen imdiately appeared between them.

Scene after scene of precise, all-encompassing surveillance footage appeared before Yiyi, making her face change dramatically.

They showed her and Fengye Wuyin at the entrance of the banquet, as well as several conversations inside the banquet.

Although the sound couldn’t be heard, their expressions were captured with crystal clarity.

"You claid you were kidnapped and forced to work for him under threat, but judging by the videos, your conversations with him didn’t look coerced at all, so relaxed and casual, and with such a tacit exchange of glances."

At this point, Ling Kong’s low voice suddenly took on a heavy sarcasm, his eyes glaring sharply at her.

"You seem more like friends rather than soone who is threatening your life and whom you hate."

Yiyi’s face turned red, then imdiately pale, devoid of blood.

Looking at the captured footage, as she talked with Fengye Wuyin at the banquet, she couldn’t help but laugh when she heard he was taken advantage of by a woman. Such images indeed didn’t look like she was kidnapped and forced to do things.

She was montarily speechless, her heart in turmoil, not knowing how to explain such a complex situation.

She really didn’t fear Fengye Wuyin much, because she had seen many cruel and cold-blooded people on Earth, so she wasn’t as fearful as ordinary people when facing them, knowing that with value, her safety wasn’t sothing to worry about, and instead appeared calm and composed.

But now this calmness had beco a point of suspicion.

"And..."

Ling Kong’s voice grew colder, his finger pointed, and her identity docunts imdiately appeared on the virtual screen, his eyes oddly probing her.

"Your identification is fake. Why go to such lengths to create a tragic backstory? To approach the charity group and gain the attention of the ladies in the group? If you were just a disposable tool, would soone really bother to forge identification for you? So, what is your true identity?"

Yiyi’s breath caught: "You suspect that I’m a spy from another country?"

"Do you admit it?"

Yiyi’s face changed; the charge of espionage was significant. Especially spying on the Aus Empire, an accusation like that was a dead end, she couldn’t possibly admit it.

"Why should I admit it? I’m not at all. Why accuse my identity of being false, you can’t just falsely accuse . I’m just an innocent passerby from Yalan Country accidentally dragged into this conspiracy."
