"The babies are asleep. I was the one who put them to sleep." Third Young Master Jun gazed at the sleeping faces of the little ones with a satisfied look, his face brimming with pride.
Ye Lu rolled her eyes speechlessly. What was there to be so proud of? She really couldn’t understand the odd hobbies of this new dad.
Then she thought of sothing. Staring at the two sleeping babies, her eyes filled with tenderness, she whispered, "The children don’t have nas yet. Yuanyuan and Yiyi were nas I chose, so this ti, I’ll leave it to you to na the babies!"
Third Young Master Jun turned to look at her and reached out to clasp her hand tightly, a look of indescribable gratitude brimming in his eyes.
"Thank you, Lu’er."
"Thank for what?" Ye Lu shot him a playful glance. Between old married couples, what was there to thank each other for?
"Thank you for giving two children, and thank you for giving this opportunity."
In truth, compared to him, she was more qualified to na the babies, especially since she had endured the most sacrifice and effort for them.
But she still passed this important privilege to him, letting him na their beloved children and giving him the pride and fulfillnt of being a father.
"You silly fool..." Ye Lu chuckled softly, biting her lip. "Hurry up and think. If you can’t co up with good nas, I’m taking back this chance."
Then, recalling the ti they discussed baby nas on the plane, she glared at him with a warning, thinking of this mischievous man’s track record.
"Don’t pick so corny, low-class nas. If you do, I swear I’ll beat you for it."
Third Young Master Jun smirked slyly, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Honey, threatening like this isn’t fair. If my mind gets jumbled, I might co up with nas like Doggie or Second Egg."
"You wouldn’t dare!" Ye Lu gritted her teeth. If their kids grew up with nas like that, they’d chase the pair to the ends of the earth.
She would never let her children resent her for life—because of this infuriating, shaless man.
"Haha, don’t be mad, my darling wife. I was only joking." Third Young Master Jun reached out to rub her face, then glanced at the two babies before looking at her with deep affection. "Actually, I’ve already thought of nas."
He’d been anticipating the arrival of these two babies for a long ti. As a father, of course, he’d been pondering what nas to give them from the start.
His children were the most adorable babies in the whole world, so naturally, they deserved the most beautiful, aningful nas.
Because of this, he spent countless hours brainstorming. He ca up with many nas but always felt they weren’t good enough—never worthy of his precious little ones.
Yet, after being so picky, Eldest Young Master Jun finally settled on two nas he was satisfied with.
He felt the nas were simple yet profound, carrying a depth of aning that he was proud of.
He’d always planned to give these nas to his children in the future.
But later, as fate took a harsh turn, he sensed he might not live to see his children born. He smiled bitterly, feeling he no longer had the right to na them.
To his surprise, destiny showed compassion. He got to witness his children’s births and even na them himself. He felt deeply happy.
"What nas?" Ye Lu asked expectantly.
Third Young Master Jun smiled faintly and said, "Both are boys. Let’s call them Jun Wei and Jun Zhi!"
Ye Lu mulled over those two nas, gazing at the deep emotion in Third Young Master Jun’s eyes. Her heart trembled, and suddenly, clarity struck her.
A lifeti of devotion, only to you!
Both nas were contained within that sentint. She stared at him in stunned silence before breaking into a radiant smile, her heart brimming with happiness.
"I feel the sa way," she murmured softly.
You are my one and only true love, Jun Huang.
Third Young Master Jun lowered his head and kissed her. "Rest now. You’re tired."
After both mother and babies had fallen asleep, Third Young Master Jun tucked her in, moved the babies back to their crib, and quietly closed the door.
Standing just outside, he leaned against the door and began to ponder deeply.
Though his children’s arrival filled him with joy and excitent, he hadn’t entirely lost himself to those emotions. He couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that sothing wasn’t quite right.
