Third Young Master Jun called Ye Yuan in, his hand affectionately ruffling his hair: "Yuanyuan, can Daddy trust you?"
Ye Yuan’s eyes lit up with confusion but pridefully lifted his chin: "That’s such a silly question. Are you asking to help you with sothing? Just say it—I’ll make sure to get it done!"
Third Young Master Jun chuckled, his eyes deep with tenderness, his tone brimming with pride.
"My Yuanyuan truly has the heart of a man. Looks like you’re ready to bear the responsibilities of one. In this family, it’s just the two of us n. If your daddy ever becos unable to take care of your mommy and sister, you’ll need to step up and help care for them. Can you do that?"
"What do you an by that?" Even if Ye Yuan couldn’t grasp all the implications, he could sense the unusual tone of his father’s words. An uneasy feeling stirred inside him.

Third Young Master Jun rested for a while. Once his body felt a little better, he got up and went to the bathroom to tidy himself up.
Coming out, he scanned the surroundings. As it was only for a night, there wasn’t much to pack.
Dressing quickly, he opened the door and was about to leave.
Suddenly, a figure ran desperately upstairs, panting heavily and dashing toward him at full speed. The urgency of that lumbering body moving so quickly made hearts race with fear.
Those who saw her along the way gasped in alarm, fearing she might trip and fall: "Madam, be careful!"
But she paid them no mind, rushing ahead like soone deranged.
When Third Young Master Jun saw her face, his expression changed drastically.
