Tang Sen is indeed talented. With his tips and seasoned experience, Ye Lu’s reform plan beca more perfect and encountered less resistance than before. After all, there are many in the company who trust Tang Sen, and seeing him help Ye Lu, those who made things difficult for her also decreased.
"President, Mr. Huffman asks you to et him at the group." The secretary, after receiving a phone call, revealed a look of utter surprise and spoke to Ye Lu.
Don’t bla the secretary for such a shocked expression. Because Huffman, well, he’s quite a character. In Hua Group, he is like an emperor, and ordinary senior executives can hardly have a chance to speak with him. He is very arrogant and does not et just anyone. For leaders of subsidiary companies, he cared even less.
Today, his assistant called to say he wanted to see Ye Lu, truly a miracle of the world.
However, the secretary soon looked at Ye Lu with sympathy. Mr. Huffman is known for his bad temper, probably because he thinks Ye Lu’s recent performance hasn’t shown any progress and wants to scold her. It’s known that Mr. Huffman is not particularly gentlemanly towards won; when he starts scolding, harsh words like "you idiot" could easily co out.
Ye Lu was also surprised. Huffman wanted to see her?
He had never cared about her before, and seed to have a prejudice against her.
She couldn’t help but feel nervous and hurried over.
The senior executives in the group saw Ye Lu heading to the CEO’s floor and all wore expressions of surprise, so with aningful sneers, clearly thinking she would be torn to shreds!
Many people were paying attention to this matter, and after about half an hour, Ye Lu ca out of the office.
Everyone’s eyes flickered, trying to gauge from Ye Lu’s face any signs of deflation or fear, but Ye Lu’s face was expressionless, quietly and modestly departing.
They all appeared very disappointed, only attributing it to the possibility that Ye Lu had been scared silly.
When Ye Lu ca down to the lobby of the group, she bumped into Yiren, who was radiant. With a confident and victorious smile on her face, she glanced at Ye Lu and with a very sympathetic tone said, "I heard Mr. Huffman called you over to scold you, tsk tsk, truly pitiful. What can you do if your performance is so poor, it makes everyone angry."
Ye Lu bit her lip and said nothing, her face full of frustration and disappointnt, as if she had been greatly struck, and then she turned and left.
Seeing her disheartened expression, Yiren felt even more delighted.
It seems she really got a severe scolding from Huffman!
Yiren really thought that Huffman appreciated her more, although she also did not understand why Huffman would favor her. However, with Huffman as a backer, her odds of winning were even more secure.
But after Ye Lu left the group, she got into the car, her expression imdiately shifted from dejected to deep and sharp.
Recalling what had just happened in Huffman’s office, she was trendously shocked.
She also thought Huffman was summoning her to scold her, but unexpectedly, during that half hour, Huffman asked her about the internal reforms at S company. She couldn’t make out his attitude, but felt that him listening so intently to her talk about the reforms, at least on the surface, indicated he wasn’t opposed to her thods.
What was more unexpected, after hearing her plans, Huffman offered her several key suggestions, enlightening her profoundly.
Then, he simply let her leave.
There was no reprimand for her performance, nor any indication of how much he appreciated her, just professional opinions from a leader.
This eting was indeed very strange.
Is this a signal?
At least she didn’t see Huffman targeting her, nor scolding her for poor performance. His attitude was really mysterious.
