Ye Lu didn’t know if he would listen to her, though the man appeared to have forgotten everything, his speech was coherent and his IQ seed fine; he clearly had his own opinions.
But why was he so guarded against others? This is a hospital, even the least secure people wouldn’t resist and guard against doctors to such an extent.
"Um, the doctor wants to treat you, can you cooperate?"
The man’s cold eyes scanned over the people behind her, the thick chill, doubt, and wariness in his eyes frightened the doctors and nurses into hiding behind Ye Lu.
"I don’t like anyone touching , and I don’t recognize them."
Ye Lu really couldn’t understand, the doctors and nurses looked very kind, this man’s vigilance seed overly strong. Had he suffered so great trauma in the past or had a bad impression of hospitals?
"If you don’t cooperate, how are you going to regain your mory? Don’t you want to rember?"
These words hit the man right where it hurt, he furrowed his brows lightly and then, looking at Ye Lu, finally nodded obediently.
"Alright."
The doctor was overjoyed, glancing at her sideways, the look in his eyes saying: see, he really listens to you.
But ever since Ye Lu took on the case, the doctor felt that the man trusted her; he would always turn to her for help with anything, and, with his strong wariness, deeply disliked everyone around. He didn’t trust anyone but her.
Ye Lu was very puzzled.
Qingchi told her: "This is probably an imprinting syndro. He’s lost his mory; his subconscious is definitely filled with unease. The fact that you’re the only one he rembers ans you must be important. You took care of him when he was injured, and deep down he feels that you treat him well, he feels safe around you, so he trusts you and clings to you. Of course, from a dical standpoint, there is another explanation..."
"What explanation?"
"Mother complex, you said he called you mom, right? You might share so traits with his mother, which induces attachnt and trust. Plus, you’re pregnant, so you naturally exude a maternal gentleness, which might be comforting to him."
Ye Lu had a headache; she was a young woman, and it was truly bizarre to be the object of a mother complex by such a grown man.
But the problem was, after treatnt, the man’s mory had not recovered. He was all alone, without any relatives, and couldn’t rember anything about himself.
From his docunts, all that was known was that his na was Ying, a recent immigrant who had just arrived and didn’t even have a job; his background was a total blank.
"Ying, I am going to be discharged from the hospital. The doctor says your condition hasn’t improved, so what do you plan to do?"
Upon hearing her ntion discharge, Ying was startled, his eyes dimming: "You are leaving."
"I’ve heard about your situation, you were hit because of us, so I also have a responsibility. I will give you a sum of money enough for your living, and if you need a job, I can also arrange for soone to help you! I hope you recover soon."
"No need, I can take care of myself," said Ying, shaking his head quietly.
Ye Lu didn’t want to force him; after all, everyone is an adult and everyone has their own choices. Judging by his expression, it wasn’t stubbornness, but rather a genuine sense of not needing any help,
Ye Lu left a contact number for an assistant, saying he could get in touch if he needed help.
However, on the day after leaving the hospital, when Ye Lu was out, she passed by that sa road and inadvertently found Ying sitting on the part of the road where the accident had occurred, sitting on the sidewalk, lost in thought.
