She hated him, truly despised him.

Didn’t they agree to trust each other? She trusted him so completely, telling him everything without holding back.

Why did he deceive her about sothing as crucial as life and death, making her heart ache so much? Wasn’t she trustworthy enough for him?

Third Young Master Jun turned over and saw her tear-streaked face, feeling a sharp pain in his heart.

He stretched out his arms, pulled the extrely heartbroken her into his embrace and comforted her tenderly. He lowered his head adoringly kissing the top of her head, his hands continuously caressed her back, and whispered apologies in her ear.

Ye Lu leaned weakly against his chest, her tears soaking his clothes, carrying too much grievance, anger, yet there was also the joy of regaining what was lost. Her mind was racing with thoughts.

Even though she couldn’t agree with his actions and was disappointed and sad, she knew that now was not the right ti to confront him.

"I’ll not easily forgive you," she said angrily.

Third Young Master Jun gave a bitter smile, ruffling her frazzled head: "I know, it’s only right for you to be angry and bla ."

Given how much she had suffered and how upset she was, it was already pretty good that she didn’t slap him several tis considering her personality. Whatever she chose to do to him, he would accept without resentnt.

"You know that’s good." Ye Lu spoke firmly, then looked up at him, her tone uncompromising, "Tell , what exactly is going on? You’re not allowed to hide anything from anymore, no excuses to deceive , I want to know all about your plan, including the truth behind it."

She was able to calm down after all, and she knew that the current situation was not simple.

He hid his identity, pretending to be soone else, there must have been a profound reason.

Seeing her so composed, Third Young Master had no choice but to tell her the truth at this point, if he didn’t let her realize the seriousness of the situation, she wouldn’t leave.

"I told you before, I ca to this area to gather information and to infiltrate the Su Family to find evidence of Father Su colluding with them. But..."

Third Young Master paused, a fierce glint flashing deep within his eyes, startlingly intense.

"I discovered a huge secret."

Ye Lu’s heart tightened, realizing that the secret he was referring to must be the reason for his disappearance and death, and the very reason he was hiding here.

"What secret?" she couldn’t help but ask urgently.

Third Young Master closed his eyes for a mont, his expression filled with heavy irony:

"We always thought that Father Su was the Su Family’s protector, discontent with being under Su Family’s control, he wanted to use the United Army’s operation to secretly assist, seizing the opportunity to eliminate the Su Family and break free from everything! But that is not the case at all, we, including the high-ranking officers of several nations in the United Army... have all been deceived."

The last few words, striking like a steel knife on iron stone, were thrilling, causing Ye Lu’s breath to hitch, her intuitions vaguely guessing the truth yet fearing to confirm it.

"Because, Father Su, is Sudian!" Third Young Master’s voice was low and dark, as if coming from hell.

This shook Ye Lu greatly, her complexion turning pale inch by inch, pupils shrinking, overwhelmingly astonished.

Good heavens, Father Su was actually Sudian, the shocking world’s mysterious major trafficker, the real mastermind controlling all the narcotics in the entire triangle region.

No one could have guessed this truth, that this once high-ranking political figure in N Nation, even in Asia, a drug enforcent hero revered by all, was in fact, the loathso major trafficker everyone despised.

It was utterly horrifying.
