Yan Su was astonished. He had thought that the man would say sothing important, but he hadn’t expected him not to care about his own illness; instead, he was worried about not being able to see the birth of his child. This man always put his family first, even above his own life.

"Heh... don’t look at with such pity and gloom."

Third Young Master Jun chuckled, his face bearing an expression of utter calm while his eyes were alight with a burning, shimring fighting spirit. His tone was firm.

"I believe I will definitely live to see my child’s birth because I want to see them arrive in this world with my own eyes. Last ti, I couldn’t accompany Yuanyuan and Yiyi, and that is my everlasting regret as a father. I don’t want to let this child experience the sa regret. So, even if Death himself is dragging down to hell, I will resist to the very end! In the end, I will win."

Yan Su was stirred, feeling his blood boil as he listened to Third Young Master Jun’s voice, firm as a rock. It seed as if, just seeing him like this, one could sense that he would ultimately triumph over everything.

Yan Su revealed a look of imnse admiration, his heart suddenly enlightened. That’s right, Third Young Master had never been one to easily succumb to fate, nor was he one to wallow in pessimism, self-pity.

He had always been a man of action, soone who, when he wanted to achieve sothing, would do everything in his power to do so.

"Still not planning to tell her?" Yan Su asked.

A light yet joyous smile played across the carefree face of Third Young Master Jun. In his gaze was a thought, "No, she’s so happy right now. I don’t want her to start suffering when she’s barely felt much happiness. It wouldn’t be fair to her. And as for , she has seen too much of my sadness; I prefer to see her laugh."

He rembered how she had lain in his arms, her eyebrows and cheeks unable to hide her smile. This was the first ti since he had known her that she seed so relaxed and happy, free from all burdens, as joyous as a little bird, as radiant as a blooming flower.

He wished to see her smile more, to let happiness radiate from her brows, to make her happier, to let her enjoy every bit of joy that a woman could derive from love.

He had caused her pain for seven years and only hoped to bring her more happiness.

"Alright then." Yan Su respected his decision. Although sharing both sweetness and bitterness was a commonly recomnded approach, Third Young Master Jun was different. To him, because Ye Lu was more important, such a thod could perhaps make him happier.

Yan Su picked up so instrunts, starting to adjust them with intense concentration.

If Third Young Master Jun could face all of this, then he too should perk up, strive to do everything possible to save Third Young Master. United, everyone should do what they could, and there would always be good results in the end. Hope always exists; it’s just a matter of whether one dares to grasp it!

"Third Young Master, the effect of the dication is not significant anymore. It’s causing quite a bit of harm to your internal organs, so for now, we can only rely on physical therapy thods. Because we can’t use anesthetics or painkillers, so..."

Yan Su took a deep breath, shrugged his shoulders, and smiled wryly.

"You will have to endure a great deal of pain; this process will be excruciating."

Third Young Master Jun laughed heartily, his face filled with fearlessness. He lay down on the treatnt bed of his own accord and looked toward Yan Su.

"Your description has quite intrigued, is it more painful than a gunshot wound?"

Seeing his ease, as if he were looking forward to a massage, Yan Su’s eyes twitched, sowhat speechless, but he still honestly inford him, though he knew well that this man probably wouldn’t be afraid.

"I think gunshot wounds are nothing compared to this. This pain is throughout the body,"
