After three hours of searching, news from all parties indicated that there were still no clues.
Ye Lu’s heart felt cold, her gaze frantic, and anxiety burned within her, as her biggest fear was that Third Young Master Jun might have been captured by those people whose background remained unknown, and what they might do to him.
Suddenly, Ling Kong received a phone call from the police station, saying that a car had been found destroyed on a certain road, and there were bullet casings and signs of a fight.
Ye Lu’s pupils contracted sharply, and she imdiately asked Ling Kong to drive there. Upon arrival, the place was already surrounded by police, and Feiyu, Yan Su, and others had also rushed over in response to the news. A group of people were conducting a widespread, carpet-style search in the fields along that road.
But after an hour of searching, there was still no trace of Third Young Master Jun or Lie Feng.
Fear gripped Ye Lu’s heart. Perhaps Third Young Master Jun had been caught up by those people here and taken away. The thought of his uncertain fate and well-being brought her unbearable grief.
Ling Kong’s calm and sharp eyes swept across the surroundings, and after a mont’s thought, he suddenly spoke, "When I ca here, I saw a fork in the road ahead. Let’s go check along that fork!"
Ye Lu was stunned, not quite understanding Ling Kong’s reasoning, but then a sudden realization hit her. Although the hope was slim, Ling Kong’s suggestion made so sense.
The two of them, along with their n, quickly turned the car around and entered a fork in the road from above.
Then they began a tense search along the fields on either side of the road.
The winter rice harvest was over, and spring planting had not yet started; the fields were dotted with piles of straw.
Ye Lu couldn’t sit still in the car any longer, insisting on getting out and joining the search. She was carrying a life detector, which could sense if there were any human presences nearby. She stumbled along the ridges between fields, searching desperately.
At that mont, Ye Lu’s mind was consud by one intense thought: she would give anything to find Third Young Master Jun.
Tears involuntarily slid down from the corners of her eyes.
Suddenly, soone shouted with surprise, "There seems to be soone here!"
She trembled all over, her eyes alight with fervent hope. Dropping everything she was holding, she dashed over.
Several people were gathered around a large pile of grass, removing handfuls of straw, and to their astonishnt, they uncovered a man, bloodied and unconscious, buried in the pile.
"Is it... really him..." Ye Lu was so overwheld with joy that she laughed and cried at the sa ti, throwing herself over and cradling Third Young Master Jun’s head in her arms, crying tears of happiness, and through tear-blurred eyes, she looked at Third Young Master Jun, sobbing uncontrollably, "I’ve finally found you, and thankfully it’s not too late."
Rembering all the hardships and pain they had encountered since she had t him, she was filled with both sorrow at the misunderstandings and pain they had gone through, and imnse gratitude that she hadn’t lost the man who deeply loved her.
She cradled his head and kissed his bloodstained forehead.
"Jun Huang, we will always be together forever, never to be apart again."
In that mont, her joy was boundless, believing that everything was not too late, yet she was unaware that it was all too late!
...
After they found Third Young Master Jun, Yan Su and the others quickly arrived, lifting Third Young Master Jun into the car, while other searchers said they hadn’t found Lie Feng and his group.
Ye Lu’s gaze dimd, but there was nothing she could do at the mont.
They first took Third Young Master Jun to a secure private hospital, cleared out all the hospital staff, and brought in a large number of personnel for strict protection.
Yan Su urgently attended to Third Young Master Jun’s injuries.
After a night of anxiety, tension, and running around, Ye Lu was tired, yet she still waited outside the operating room.
