He kept cutting through the beasts, now guided by instinct and skill combined. Blood sprayed across his face, warm and sticky, staining his vision but he didn’t stop.
He couldn’t stop.

Although his strength was growing and his movents were becoming sharper, the sa couldn’t be said for Rieka. She was stronger than him, but her mana reserves were not limitless. Her attacks began to slow, her breathing growing heavier with each passing mont.
Ding!

But none of it seed to matter , they kept coming , Dozens.
Hundreds.
Thousands.
The corpses began piling up around them, and Rieka was no longer in good condition. The ground beneath their feet turned slick with blood and crushed flesh, making every step unstable. Severed body parts clung to Nova’s boots as he moved.
While slaughtering the beasts, Nova noticed sothing strange. After dying, so of them dropped items basic weapons, pieces of armor but they looked weak, insignificant. He didn’t have the ti to inspect or collect anything as more of the creatures rushed at him from every direction. Nova kept moving , he had to.
If the space around him beca too cluttered with corpses, it would restrict his movent and that would an death.
More importantly Rieka wouldn’t survive like this.
Realizing that, he began pushing forward, intercepting waves of beasts before they could reach her. Using his movent technique, he carved a path through the swarm, creating space for her to breathe.
He kept advancing into the endless tide of silver creatures, moving farther away from the walls. And with each kill he beca more efficient.
Nova was already panting, his arms screaming from the strain. His body trembled not just from exhaustion, but from the countless injuries covering him. He was completely drenched in blood.
This was the first ti he had ever killed anything. But there was no ti to process it. Another wave of lesser wolfangs ca.
Nova scread not in fear, but in pure, blood-boiling rage. He looked like sothing out of a nightmare, fury drowning out all reason as he drove his sword through a beast’s neck, watching it gurgle and twitch before ripping the blade free. Another lunged from the side, and he barely ducked in ti, rolling across the blood-soaked ground.
Rieka had fallen to her knees.
Her body was covered in wounds, her once pristine face now stained red with blood. Her breathing was weak, uneven.
"N... Nova... it seems like... I won’t be able to continue..." Her voice faded.
She collapsed.
In her final conscious monts, a thought crossed her mind. Maybe she had only been holding him back. She had seen it his strength rising, surpassing even hers. He had been protecting her, not letting many beast reach her.
Maybe dying here was better. ’Let’s et in the next life...It was nice knowing you...’
And then darkness, Nova froze for a split second.
His heart clenched violently. It’s because of . She was trapped in this hell because of him. His grip tightened around his sword as sothing inside him snapped.
"No matter what happens..." His voice trembled, yet carried absolute resolve.
"I won’t let you die here. That... I promise you, Rieka." She didn’t respond. She couldn’t.
"CO, YOU FILTHY FUCKS! CO ON!"
Nova rose, his body covered in gore. A wolf’s intestine clung to his leg as he kicked forward, crushing a beast’s skull against the wall. Bone fragnts shattered outward.
His knuckles turned white around the sword hilt.
He didn’t let a single beast pass him.
He moved like a storm no, like a wall. A living barrier of blood and steel, tearing apart anything that ca close, making sure nothing reached Rieka.
Ding!
[You have learned a skill: Sharp Senses.]

His perception sharpened instantly. Movents beca clearer, the flow of attacks easier to read. He could feel the beasts around him, allowing him to dodge strikes that would have otherwise hit.
Still—
they kept coming.
Nova activated his skills continuously, pushing his body beyond its limits. Yet his mana had only decreased slightly.
His only path to survival was forward. To kill. To grow stronger with every strike. Because if the next wave ca stronger than this one , he knew one thing for certain. He wouldn’t survive it like this.
"GRRRRR—!"
A larger wolfang lunged toward him. Nova’s eyes narrowed instantly. He knew that if those jaws clamped down on him, it wouldn’t just hurt it would cripple him.
Without hesitation, he grabbed a handful of spilled organs from the ground and hurled them straight into the beast’s eyes. At the sa ti, he shoved a weaker wolfang into its path.
The larger beast, blinded and enraged, tore through the smaller ones in a frenzy, its claws ripping bodies apart as it roared wildly.
Nova didn’t waste that opening. With everything he had left, he lunged forward and drove his sword into its eye socket. The blade sank deep. But in that mont of focus he missed sothing. Another wolfang slipped past him. Heading straight for Rieka.
Nova’s body moved on instinct. He threw himself in its path, intercepting it just in ti. Its claws tore across his back.
A deep gash split open, blood spilling out instantly.
"Ahhh—!"
A strained groan escaped his lips as he forced himself backward, jumping away from the follow-up attack. Even with Pain Resistance, the damage was real. The exhaustion, the injuries, they were catching up to him.
His body was slowing down.

But even as the system ssages appeared , the battle didn’t stop.Ti lost its aning. One hour passed then another then another Nova no longer kept track.
His legs burned with every step, his arms scread with every swing, yet the Wolfangs didn’t stop. If anything, their numbers only increased, pouring in endlessly as if the dungeon itself was feeding them into the battlefield.
Hours of mindless killing had passed.
With every system ssage that flashed before his eyes, Nova felt his strength and speed rising, pushing his body beyond what it should have been capable of. Even as his condition worsened, even as exhaustion dragged at him, he kept going.
He didn’t let a single beast reach Rieka.
Not one.
Instead, he pushed forward, forcing the tide of monsters deeper into the dungeon, increasing the distance between them and her unconscious body.
He beca sothing else entirely. A machine of slaughter. And then another ssage appeared.

Nova didn’t react. He couldn’t. At this point
he was no longer thinking. Only moving only killing .
"GRRR—!"
Suddenly, all his senses flared as a sharp pain tore through his side. A beast bit him . Nova roared in pain, his body reacting on instinct as he ripped its limbs apart and sliced its face open in one brutal motion. He dropped to one knee, clutching the wound, yet even then his sword didn’t stop.
He swung again, cutting through another beast that lunged toward him. Blood soaked his entire body so of it his own, but most of it belonged to the silver fangs surrounding him.
The endless horde didn’t wait. They never did. Rieka was still unconscious behind him, completely defenseless. Nova forced himself to move, jumping behind a mound of corpses and using it as a temporary barrier. It gave him only a brief mont, but that mont was enough.
A notification flashed in front of him.
[You have acquired active skill: Appraisal ]
Nova didn’t hesitate. He activated it instantly. His vision sharpened as he scanned the scattered items among the corpses. Weapons and armor appeared worthless, but then he spotted sothing different a C-rank healing potion.
Without wasting a second, he used his movent technique. Lightning surged beneath his feet as he dashed forward, grabbed the potion, and returned just as quickly. His hands trembled as he opened it and drank.
Warm energy spread through his body almost instantly. His wounds closed, the bleeding stopped, and the deep ache in his muscles faded. Even the exhaustion weighing him down eased. He was still breathing heavily, but he felt alive again ready to continue. He carefully kept half of the potion aside for Rieka.
Then he stood up.
And stepped forward.
Nova swung his sword again. This ti, there was no grace in his movents only raw intent. Yet it wasn’t sloppy. Not anymore. With every kill, his strikes beca sharper, more efficient, more deadly.
It was his first ti using a sword, yet his movents already resembled soone with months, even years, of experience.
Guts spilled across the ground as he advanced. Blood pooled beneath his feet, forming a crimson path wherever he stepped. Corpses lay scattered everywhere, torn into pieces, the air thick with the stench of death.
The dungeon floor itself felt alive with bloodlust.
And Nova kept moving forward.
He kept killing without stopping. Now that his strength had returned and grown by leaps and bounds he butchered the beasts with ease, creatures that had once been difficult for him to handle.
Ti had completely lost aning inside the dungeon. More than a day of slaughter had passed. Nova could feel it now the hunger, The thirst.
His body ached all over in a way even the healing potion couldn’t fix. It wasn’t just wounds anymore it was fatigue sinking deep into his bones. His muscles felt heavy, his movents slower than before.
On top of that, exhaustion crept into his mind. His thoughts dulled, and his eyelids grew heavy, threatening to close at any mont.
Yet he kept moving , he kept killing.
