The Academy was already aware of the situation with the dungeon, so the Vice Headmistress, Morgon, had already begun to make preparations.

The mont the students ca out of the dungeon, they were all transferred to the Academy Hospital for further checkups and treatnt.

An event like this needed a thorough checkup to make sure none of the students had any lasting effects on their ntal health.

The physical body could be cured, but there really was no way to heal a broken mind if it got worse.

She noticed Leon instantly, and it was hard not to since he was the only one in their group who had actually woken up and even began to survey the surroundings.

She saw how his eyes were full of happiness before they lost all their color, and a heaviness began to envelope his presence.

Morgon was very familiar with that look and also the feeling so her eyes couldn’t help but soften. She sighed as she was reminded of her younger days again, back when she had ventured into the dungeons for the first ti.

She shook off her thoughts and turned to the right where the Head of the dical Departnt was standing and said, "Keep an eye on him, please."

"He’s strong," Keven said, staring deeply at Leon. "He won’t break so easily."

"Still, he is a very promising talent and also a dear student of Amber. I don’t want to antagonize her over this issue, so give him extra attention," Morgon shook her head and spoke calmly.

"He deserves that just by his own achievents," Keven said after he instructed his assistant to give Leon special treatnt. "Besides, didn’t you notice how he only looked a bit dispirited but was still standing strong? I believe he can handle this with so help."

"I truly hope he can do it," Morgon sighed and once again checked on all the students to make sure everyone was being taken care of.

It was the least she could do as the Vice Headmistress.

Once that was done, she left everything for the staff to handle. They were talented people, and the fact that they were chosen for Starlink Academy showed their capabilities.

She had just co because she wanted to be with the students and also check on them herself. They were her responsibility for the students of Starlink Academy.

After that, she headed toward the balcony which faced the attached garden and found Amber leaning against the glass railings with a cigarette in her hand.

She still had her fox ears and tail out. They were as real as they could be, but there was an addition of small curved horns on her head right beside her fox ears.

Morgon was really worried about her, seeing her in this state. She put her hand on Amber’s shoulder and asked, "How are you?"

"Usual!" Amber said in a solemn voice, giving a side glance at the red-haired beauty who had one eye covered in bandages.

Morgon sighed and ca to stand beside her. She also took a cigarette from her but didn’t use it. She was just here to accompany her.

She knew Amber was strong and didn’t really need any comforting words. She was a realist who liked to face reality no matter how terrible it was to her.

But she was still soone Morgon cared about deeply, so she couldn’t just leave her alone in tis like this.

She took a deep breath of fresh air and asked, "How many died?"

"None!" was Amber’s response.

Morgon paused and frowned, "Then what happened?"

Amber shrugged and pointed to their right where the periter of the building ended. Three cages were placed on a hovering truck, and in each of them, there was a grotesque monster screeching.

Morgon’s face turned pale as she closed her eyes and began to rub the bridge of her nose, "What even happened there?"

"The dungeon core mutated and released a wave of Corrupted Miasma. It was... very potent. Enough for the dungeon to jump ranks and reach C-Rank," Amber said evenly.

"Such potency..." Morgon’s eyes widened in horror hearing that, and her head snapped toward Amber. "How are you even alive? Why were there only three casualties?"

The potency needed to jump two ranks directly for the dungeon showed how horrifying it was and how much it could have affected them.

Even Morgon wasn’t sure if she could have survived this encounter if it had co as a surprise. So she simply couldn’t understand how Amber had survived.

Previously, she was lanting the fact that they lost three elites of humanity who could have been future pillars, but only now she realized that the casualty number was very low for the situation.

"What’s the point? I still failed!" Amber said as she threw the cigarette into the garden. "I failed to protect my students yet again. Even if they had died, I wouldn’t be feeling this way. Just why... why do they have to turn into Abyssal Creatures?"

Morgon first caught the cigarette and stored it away before saying, "We have been through this many tis already, and I don’t have anything new to say. You are mature and understand how it works. But I’ll still say one thing."

She hugged Amber from the shoulders and said, "Thanks. Thanks a lot for saving my students. If it was anyone else... we would have lost sixty of our precious students. And lastly, thanks for saving yourself."

Morgon knew that if it was possible, Amber would have even put her life on the line to save those lives. She was known as the demoness and as the worst teacher, but only a few knew how kind her heart was toward her students.

That was why she was really thankful that she was alive.

"I don’t deserve all the credit." Amber shook her head. "If it wasn’t for him, you would have five fewer students."

"What do you an?" Morgon asked as she was reminded of Leon when Amber ntioned him.

"You must have already t him. Leon Walker," Amber had a smile on her face when she talked about Leon. "He defended against a whole army of Burning Skeletons and Lava Imps all alone to save Natasha and others. So if he wasn’t there, you would have lost a talent like Natasha. But I also can’t forget his friend who put his life on the line for those girls."

Morgon wanted to point out that there was no way Amber would have let them die, but she kept silent on that matter. Instead, she began to focus on the matter of Leon.

"Are you sure you aren’t exaggerating? He’s impressive, and I totally agree with that, but what you’re claiming is just ridiculous." Morgon was finding it hard to believe, so she couldn’t help but voice her doubts.

"I have recorded everything, so you can check it later yourself," Amber said, before straightening up. "Let’s go. The wicked deserve no rest."

"But you do!" Morgon said before turning toward Amber. "You and your whole class are getting a week of holiday. The number of days is debatable, but you are still taking that. Even if you don’t want to think about yourself, think about your students. Especially Leon. I don’t know what happened with him, but he seriously needs so checkups and rest. His eyes... they scare ."

Amber thought about it for a second before agreeing with it. She also knew her situation well, so she wasn’t going to push herself so hard that she couldn’t even co back.

"By the way, are you doing it?"

Amber froze upon hearing that and said in a stern voice, "They need to face it. They need to know what could have happened to them and what can happen to them in future."

"I see. Well, you can do your thing then as long as you don’t break them. Also, what was the group that was infected?"

"It was Sarah’s team."
