Amber was really curious to know his answer because he seed way too cautious in life. Perhaps, because he was completely opposite of her, it made her interested in him.
After all, she had been reckless all her life, and if it wasn’t for her master and Senior Sister, she would have been dead long ago. She knew that, but didn’t really care.
If she had a great background, why wouldn’t she use it?
This was why she wanted to know his answer.
"Of course, I want everyone to know it’s who made this," Leon smiled and said. "It is different than my leveling problem, and I also have you as my backing. Not to ntion I’ll also get support of many others if I play my cards right."
"Heh, you really got a good head there," Amber laughed and said. "But as I said before, you don’t need to do anything. I’ll handle everything from gathering allies, production, and practically everything. Leave it to ."
Leon’s lips twitched as he asked, "You seem pretty excited to do so much work. It’s troubleso, yet you’re doing it."
"I just want to see money rolling in," Amber said with a toothy grin. "Now now, we don’t wanna be late, so get going, and you can take this back for now."
She gave the potion back to Leon and added, "I’ll ask you to co when it’s needed."
"Professor, it is for you," Leon pushed it back, insisting on giving her the potion. "Consider it as showing my trust in you, but I hope you keep it with you all the ti. Unexpected things happen in this ending world, so it’s better to have so triumph cards."
Amber wasn’t soone who stood on formalities, so she instantly pocketed the vial and said, "Trusting is the best thing you did in your life."
"Nah, that’s definitely choosing my Mom as my mother," Leon waved his hand nonchalantly.
"You chose that?"
"I definitely did."
Amber laughed and patted his back, "Alright, now go before others grow impatient. I’ll join you guys in a while."
With that, she vanished as if she was never even there, leaving Leon all alone in the alley.
’Even if I didn’t trust you, I would have given the potion to you.’ Leon sighed as he walked away. ’I hope with this the crisis can be avoided.’
It didn’t take long before he reached a fortress-type building, and after showing his ID, he was allowed entry. He already knew where everyone was, so he climbed the stairs and went to the first floor.
Entering one of the halls, he found around 60 students in there, fully suited up for the dungeon raid. Battle suits, weapons, potions — everything was ready.
Just as he was about to enter, he heard footsteps and turned around, only to see the cute delivery Doodle paddling towards him on his little legs.
He stopped before Leon and waved his hand while his face on the screen showed a cute smiling expression.
"Hey, little guy, what did you get this ti?" Leon asked as he crouched down.
"Doo~ dodoo~"
Leon once again placed his hand on the screen, and the Doodle took out a box from its back. After delivering the package, the Doodle waved his hand again and ran off.
Seeing the way he ran away, Leon chuckled and turned towards the package. With quick movents, he unboxed it and took out the item inside.
Throwing away the box in the dustbin, Leon admired the baseball bat in his hand with love in his eyes. "You’re finally in my hands."
"Oh my~ are you bat-sexual?" He heard a teasing voice from the side. "Did I lose against a bat?"
Leon rolled his eyes at Natasha and put his bat in the middle of his swords, then changed the subject, "How are you feeling now that you’re the strongest in class?"
"Pretty good," Natasha smiled sweetly at him. "How about you, little brother? How do you feel knowing that you’re in my team?"
"Huh? What?" Leon got confused hearing that.
"Co, I’ll explain and also introduce you to other team mbers," Natasha said, glancing at his hand but still didn’t take it.
They went inside the hall, and he received a few gazes as usual, but he could feel a few hostile ones too, which ca as a surprise to him.
He turned towards the other girls and found a tall woman glaring at Natasha. If looks could kill, she certainly would have killed Natasha many tis by now.
"Woah! You’re really popular?" Leon comnted.
"Are you impressed?" Natasha asked without turning back. "Leave them be. Unlike you n, if we get popular, we will naturally attract more haters than lovers."
"Why do I feel like you have so history with her?" Leon asked.
Natasha glanced lazily at the tall woman and then completely ignored her. "Her na is Sarah, and apparently, her boyfriend began to like and broke up with her. It’s already hard for girls here to get a boyfriend, so you can understand her hatred for ."
She sighed, "But I didn’t even do anything. Is it my fault that I’m so beautiful and elegant that n naturally fall for ?"
Leon didn’t reply to this narcissist girl as she continued with her praises. She really painted herself as soone who chard n just by walking casually, and Leon couldn’t even deny that.
"But you certainly are different than other n, little brother. I can freely talk with you without worrying about anything," Natasha giggled softly, which was enough to tug at Leon’s heartstrings.
’Charm casters are really terrifying and deadly.’ Leon sighed.
They ca to a stop before a table where three more people were already waiting for them. One of them was his friend, the muscular Denver, who gave a nod as greeting.
The other two were soone who Leon had seen in the class but never really interacted with. His contact was mostly limited to Natasha, Denver, and Amber only.
"Let introduce you to two of our teammates since you are already friends with Denver. She is Bella, and on her side is her friend Rani. Both of them are at Level 15. And this is our Academy’s most handso little brother, Leon. Oh yeah, and I’m your most beautiful Big Sister, Natasha."
