Leon imdiately thought of running as he knew he was one of the weakest students in the Academy. He could only defeat the First Years and not even all of them.
So, he didn’t even bother trying to fight since he would get defeated for sure. His objective was to get to a crowded place as quickly as possible.
Only then would he be safe.
But who would have thought that his movents would be restricted the mont he tried to run? Other than breathing, he couldn’t do anything, not even blink his eyes.
It was as if he were a puppet being controlled by soone else, which shocked him since he was sure this was a level of strength only teachers and professors could display and he doubted that even they could muster up such strength.
Why would any teacher target him?
’Think! Think! How can you get out of this situation? Damnation! I let down my guard.’
He heard footsteps behind him and knew the attacker was leisurely walking toward him, as if giving him enough ti to feel the despair.
But all he could think about was finding a way out of this predicant. Sadly, no matter how much he thought, he couldn’t find a solution.
Against absolute power, no amount of thinking would work. He understood that now better than ever.
"You can stop resisting now. Am I that scary to you?"
He heard the familiar lazy voice and relaxed slightly but not completely. After all, there were powers in this world that could change one’s voice too.
"Still vigilant? Good!"
Leon felt the restrictions lift off him and instantly turned around. Only then did he heave a sigh of relief when he saw Amber standing there in all her glory.
Donning tight latex pants that emphasized her thick thighs and firm butt, she looked absolutely stunning. She was also wearing a sports bra underneath her fluttering white coat.
She ca toward him and said, "You didn’t answer my question. Am I that scary?"
Leon nodded honestly.
"Tsk! At least lie so that I can feel good," Amber clicked her tongue and muttered to herself. "Is that why I’m single? But I heard n liked scary won?"
’No, it’s because you’re insane and reckless,’ Leon sighed and asked, "Why did you scare right in the morning, Professor?"
During the past few lectures, Leon had shown his nature of curiosity and a will to absorb all knowledge, so Amber had a high opinion of him. That was why she didn’t mind him talking casually with her.
"Oh, that’s just because I wanted to check sothing before we enter the dungeon," Amber smiled and extended her hand toward his forehead. "Forgive my rudeness."
While Leon was confused, he didn’t try to back away since he didn’t really have anything to hide from her. Or rather, there was nothing unusual on him that she could find.
The mont her fingertip grazed his forehead, a burst of Essence was pushed inside him, but it didn’t feel uncomfortable. It continued to travel around the taphysical pathways and lastly entered his Soul Core.
A flicker of shock could be seen in Amber’s eyes as she stared at him deeply. After a while, she withdrew, and her expression returned to normal.
"You are advancing too fast, which led to us having so suspicion, so I just wanted to check if you had signs of corruption. As you know, it’s dangerous to move in the dungeon while carrying corruption for a man," Amber smiled and said.
Leon nodded and stayed silent.
"Now, I have another question, what is it that you’re using to advance so quickly? Level 11 in just a few days? That’s really impossible for a Grade 4 Talent, you know," Amber said as she rested her back against the wall.
Leon stared at her without any change in expression. He didn’t show hesitation, nervousness, or even surprise. It was as if this information had nothing to do with him.
"What? You’re not going to deny that you have sothing helping you advance rapidly?" Amber asked in amusent. Though, she was definitely more entertained by his expressions than the conversation itself.
Leon shook his head. "No, but I also can’t tell you that."
"Then I’ll just have to find it out myself," Amber grinned, as if she had just been challenged.
"You can’t," Leon stated calmly. "You’ve already checked everything in my body."
Amber nodded in appreciation and said, "But there are other ways to find out about it."
"You won’t use them," Leon said.
"Ho? Why is that?" She was really looking forward to his answer.
"Because it’s too troubleso for you," Leon shrugged.
His answer earned him loud laughter from Amber, who really found all of this amusing. She chuckled and said, "You’ve really figured out my personality so quickly, huh?"
"It isn’t just because of that. You also care more about your students than so bigger picture or anything, so unless I’m dangerous for the group, you won’t do anything to ," Leon said calmly. "And you’ve already confird that."
Amber was the sole reason he wasn’t worried about the world knowing about his rapid advancent. She cared about her students more than herself for so reason, so as her student, Leon shared so of those privileges.
Especially since he was a good student whom she liked.
"Hmm, I can’t argue with that," Amber smiled. "I have to say, you impressed . For this alone, I’ll give you a chance, even though you’re suspicious. But you’ll need to answer a few questions of mine."
Leon gestured for her to continue.
"Whatever you’re using... is it potentially dangerous for the academy?"
Leon shook his head. "It’s only dangerous for . No one else will be hard by it, even if I wanted to use it for ulterior motives. It’s safe and doesn’t cause corruption, as you’ve already seen."
Amber stared into his beautiful erald eyes for a mont and smiled. "Well, I don’t have any more questions then."
"I have one question, Professor," Leon asked, still maintaining eye contact with her. "What will happen to once the world learns of my rapid progress?"
