Looking at the purple-haired woman’s flirtatious deanor, Grey was left montarily speechless.

As the air condensed beneath her, she descended gracefully, landing right in front of him. eting his gaze, she slowly licked her lips, her eyes shimring with mischief.

"What kind of battle?" Grey finally asked, his brows knitting together.

"Well, the battle can be of any kind, but..." she paused, tilting her head slightly downward.

Grey followed the direction of her gaze, only to realize where her eyes had wandered, his crotch. His expression froze, utterly speechless.

"You..." For a mont, words failed him entirely. Do won really fall for him this easily?

No, that didn’t seem to be the case most of the ti, only female Grimoires seed to fall for him easily, while human won, although finding him attractive, felt like it was just because of his handso visage, and his skill had little to no effect.

Grey didn’t know why this was the case, but he could only sigh. He spoke to her in a cold tone:

"What do you want?"

"Hee." The purple-haired woman grinned and clapped her hands. The next mont, a bed materialized behind her as she pointed invitingly. "What do you think I want?"

"In bed!?" Grey made a clueless expression.

"Yeah, in bed." She grinned, then sat on the bed, patting it. "Co, co, sit down already."

"Okay," he responded with a weird expression on his face, then sat on the bed.

"My na is ###," the purple-haired woman spoke in a gentle tone.

"Your na is ###?" It would be strange if Grey heard this.

"No, it is ###," she replied with a frown.

"Yeah, so your na is ###." He raised his hand to give her a thumbs-up.

"This..." the purple-haired woman was in confusion before sothing finally seed to click in her mind. "Ah, this is a trial. Only after you defeat can you know my na."

"So, what are you doing in bed?" Grey got to the main point imdiately. Even though he had the faintest premonition, he still wanted to ask.

"What do you think we are doing?" She slumped onto the bed in comfort and spread her arms apart, revealing her curvaceous body to his eyes.

Grey looked at this with a silent gaze. Was it really what he thought she was doing?

"I’m sorry, lady. If you’re doing what I’m thinking, then my answer would be no."

"Huh?" The purple-haired woman tilted her head and raised her brows. "Are you saying that you will not do it?"

"That’s right." Grey agreed with a casual shrug. "Although you might be one of the most beautiful won I’ve seen, that’s about it."

"Really?" She narrowed her eyes. "What if you have to fight if you don’t?"

"Then I will fight you," Grey spoke earnestly.

"You wouldn’t hurt a pitiful woman, would you?"

"Everyone is equal under my fist," he comnted with a light tone. "If you want to face , then you’ll receive the sa treatnt as anyone who attacks . Their fate is never pretty."

"But I am pretty," she whispered, wiggling her body on the bed. "Also, you don’t have any Grimoire, so how are you even supposed to attack ? You’re nothing but a re mortal in front of ."

"You’re wrong," Grey said lightly, narrowing his eyes ever so slightly. "If you want, you can face and see the consequences for yourself."

"Alright." She purred and lazily pointed her palm toward him.

A wave of soundwaves struck him without rcy.

Grey just remained still as he endured the force of her palm quite easily. His muscles bulged through the fabric of his clothes.

"Eh, how?" she froze on the spot, looking at him with disbelief.

"You see, I am not a weakling." Grey grinned, his muscles bulging.

"But how?" she backed away from him and waved her hand again. A gust of wind blew and assailed Grey.

Grey didn’t even dodge or plan to dodge it; the gust of wind did nothing but ruffle his long golden hair.

The purple-haired woman pointed with her palm, and a ball of energy appeared in front of it. The next mont, it directly hit him without rcy.

Grey grunted as he tanked the ball of energy. A slight bruise appeared on his chest, but he was almost instantly healed on the spot.

"How...!?" The purple-haired woman was in disbelief.

"It’s because of strength," he comnted casually as he slowly walked up to her, his shadow completely overshadowing her.

"So, how do I beat this trial?"

"You just have to endure my attacks. If you do, then you will win." The purple-haired woman gulped nervously, straining her neck to even catch a glimpse of Grey’s face.

The sheer size difference, along with the extraordinary strength shown by Grey, made her heart palpitate. At the sa ti, a strange fire seed to awaken within her.

"That’s it?" Grey asked, raising his brows.

"Yeah," she replied. "All the other humans who have co before you either don’t have the will to endure the attack, and even if they do have the will, they would die before the trial could end."

"Interesting," he muttered, touching his chin in irony.

It was quite funny to him that what was supposed to be sothing nobody could complete could be completed by him without even trying.

This was the Book Taming World, and everyone relied on the power of the Grimoire. If they didn’t have the power of their Grimoire, then they were as weak as a normal person.

So being powerless in this trial only felt natural.

"You... you have won the trial..." she spoke with a blush.

"Okay." Grey nodded with a satisfied expression. "Now, what do I have to do for it?"

"Nothing."

The space started to break, the purple-haired woman started to dissolve in the air and a fragnt appeared before him.

"You have obtained the fragnt of the world and are worthy of taming a Mythic Grimoire–"

"Wait, you are an outsider!?"
