This was the faintest suspicion that Zarek had.

This was because all the empire’s attitude towards her was bad, extraordinarily bad.

After all, she was supposed to be the ssenger of the human god no matter what. Would those empires really have a clash of conflict with her for so little interest if she really was a ssenger of the human god?

Zarek had this suspicion right from seeing the two empires’ emperors towards Mirabella. Although they were respectful on the surface, they didn’t hide their disdain away at all.

There was definitely sothing fishy going on, and this woman confird his suspicion instantly.

"Then how was she able to convince the world that she could do so?" Zarek asked, staring straight at her.

The woman trembled uncontrollably, she cowered in fear and panic.

"Tell ," he urged with a more cold voice.

"Mirabella can use Divine Energy from birth, that’s how we were able to fool the world with it."

"Use Divine Energy from birth?" Zarek was startled.

Divine Energy might be the highest level of energy in this world. This power can only be obtained from converting millions of living beings’ devotion towards you, which will get you fate, which then has to be converted to Divine Energy.

Zarek suspected that the Gods likely used Divine Energy to get so strong, and there was soone who could use Divine Energy from birth?

This was simply unimaginable to him!

"That’s right. Mirabella and I were orphans from birth, childhood friends who once dread of living a happy life together, celebrating our youth in peace," she said with a heavy sigh.

"But everything ca crashing down when the orphanages were shut down. We were thrown onto the streets, and there was nothing we could do."

Her voice grew distant with pain.

"We watched our friends die, so from hunger, others from the cold. Even trying to sleep on a cleaner street wasn’t an option. The older kids claid those places as territory and beat us if we dared to step in."

"In the end, lissa and I were left to fend for ourselves, while all our friends died tragic deaths," she whispered, her voice trembling, "Then one day, Mirabella showed up... with a puppy in her arms."

She paused, eyes growing distant.

"I was terrified, we were already digging through trash just to survive. And now, she brought another mouth to feed. I lashed out at her. I told her cruel things, hoping she’d understand, hoping it would scare her into letting go of it so we could live. But..." her voice cracked, "she just hugged the puppy tighter and ran off, crying."

She lowered her gaze, lips trembling.

Silence lingered.

Zarek frowned, noticing her hesitation. "Then what?" he asked with his tone sharpening. When she didn’t respond, he jabbed her lightly with his finger. "Speak."

"One day, I was dying of malnourishnt, in a dark alley where even the street animals stayed away because of the stench. I could barely move, barely breathe. I was sure that was my end."

Her fingers clenched slightly as she recalled the mory.

"I don’t know how, but Mirabella found . She ca running, crying, tears streaming down her face. And just as I was about to draw my last breath, her body suddenly radiated a golden light. Blinding, warm, divine."

She paused, "The next thing I knew, I was healed. Not just healed, I was stronger. Healthier than I had ever been in my life."

She let out a sigh.

"After that, she carried in her arms like I weighed nothing. As we walked, she began to speak. About everything. About her past. Her pain. The puppy’s prayers, she said, were what gave her strength." Her eyes darkened.

"But the more I listened, the more I realized, Mirabelle, how powerful she was."

"We traveled together after that. Wandering, surviving, learning. One thing led to another, and she eventually stood before the Emperor himself. And sohow, she convinced him she was the ssenger of the gods."

"Hmm, I see." Zarek scratched his chin, contemplating with a glint in his eyes. "How did you end up in this state, then?"

This was what truly piqued his interest, a body composed entirely of Divine Energy. Such a thing could prove extraordinarily useful to him.

"After Mirabella convinced the king that she was the ssenger of the Human God, our status rose rapidly. We prospered. Around that ti, I discovered that I possessed an extraordinary bloodline and remarkable talent. I quickly climbed the Telekinetic Rankings and eventually attained the rank of Grandmaster. But then, tragedy struck."

"That emperor knew Mirabella wasn’t the true ssenger of the Human God, and he used that knowledge to blackmail her. The conflict only escalated from there. We were forced to flee the kingdom and eventually discovered the Sacred Temple. Mirabella managed to convince them too, that she really was the saint, earning the temple’s protection. They may be weak, but the Empires still hold them in respect," she said with a sigh.

Suddenly, her head tilted toward Zarek, who wore an expression of utter boredom. Her voice hardened, her eyes burning with resentnt. "You..." she growled, grinding her teeth in hatred.

"The story is too boring, it’s almost too cliché. Did you beco a Telekinetic Paragon next? However, the Empire that you ca from sneak-attacked you, and in desperation, you sacrificed your life to protect Mirabella, a tragic ending that enraged Mirabella completely, and sohow she managed to grant you a body that is made purely of holy energy and went off to fight the Empire. Is that the infamous Empire that she wiped out from the stories?" Zarek mumbled, bored.

"You... you... how do you know?" she looked at him in complete and utter disbelief.

"I know it because it is cliché, but depending on the execution, it could be one heartwarming story, huh." Zarek touched his chin. "Not a bad Yuri novel. So anyway, getting back to the main point, tell how she did that."

"Did what?" she asked, dumbly.

"Allow you to have a body made entirely out of Divine Energy. I wanted to know this, your soul is still the sa; however, your body is different." Zarek’s brows twitched.

"I... I..." she parted her parched lips, hesitation clear in her eyes as she recollected that scene, and imdiately a frown settled on her forehead. "I don’t know."

"What!?" Zarek was startled. He looked at her straight with a dumbfounded expression.

"All I needed was that one thing, and you don’t know. Do you know the consequences?"

"I really don’t know and don’t recollect anything. All I felt in my cold body was a warmth that rotated in an infinity circle, and that was about it."
