"Control, you say?" Arthur humd as he rubbed his chin. "I thought it was simply more and more speed."

"You have fought my n twice, didn't you? Did it really feel like they were only moving extrely fast?" Yonathan asked curiously as he eyed Arthur.

His question made the boy raise an eyebrow before he started recalling the scene in detail. He focused on rembering what he thought about the situation and the fight itself. It only took him a few seconds to realize what the old man was trying to say.

'Wait… At that mont, I did say that their speed felt like it was ignoring my senses. It wasn't teleportation like that other guy I fought, but it was also not fully speed either. It was as if their bodies blended with their surroundings because of their footwork.' He mused as he closed his eyes.

"It wasn't just speed." He spoke. "I rember now. When I fought them, my senses struggled to predict where they would attack from."

"Exactly. That isn't the result of speed. It's the result of the body moving a certain way, coupled with extrely high speed. However, that doesn't an that you cannot simply blend with your surroundings even when you aren't moving at extrely high speeds." The old man said.

"Wait, what?"

"Let show you so you can understand better."

After saying that, Yonathan stepped back a good distance from Arthur and stopped. He faced the boy and slowly lifted his cane from the ground.

"Blending with your surroundings requires two key things." The man said. "The first one is your understanding of your own body and how it moves at an anatomical level."

"What do you an by that?"

"What I an is that you should know how your body will move in every single instance, and that understanding should be deep enough that you're even aware of the future outco before it even happens. You should also understand how your mana works, how it moves, and how you control it down to the smallest details."

"That sounds hard," Arthur muttered. 'I can understand how my body moves. But, to even predict the future? That's very tricky.'

"It is very hard. However, luckily for you, you don't need this high level of understanding yet. At your current level, you're good enough to learn Exo-Burst. However, to improve it and evolve the technique, you will have to learn that." He said. "Anyway, the second thing you need to have is an understanding of the environnt you're in."

"... Well, that one sounds simple enough."

'That is literally what I have been using this entire ti. I like to keep myself aware of my surroundings and my environnt in battle. I'm glad I developed that ability early on.' He mused.

"I have also noticed that. Honestly, I haven't seen a kid your age who has that much awareness. Your level is sothing that cos with long years of battle and experience." Yonathan said.

'Hmph, as if what he just did isn't already ridiculous enough. A one-of-a-kind talent coupled with a maturity far beyond his years. What else do you have hidden, Arthur?' The man exhaled a small breath.

"Now watch and don't speak. This is what you want to do."

After saying that, the old man closed his eyes for a mont. Silence took over the entire place as Arthur watched intently, trying to morize every single movent Yonathan made. He didn't even blink so as not to miss anything.

A few seconds passed with nothing happening, and the boy started getting confused. However, at that very mont, sothing changed.

"Huh?" Arthur frowned. He blinked a few tis, and yet he could still see it. Yonathan's body started becoming oddly blurry. His silhouette lost details, and he also lost all his normal colors. Slowly, and under Arthur's gaze, the old man blended with his dark surroundings.

"What the… hell?" The boy almost blurted out loudly. 'I can't see his body clearly. It's really weird.'

The gradual change quickly reached a point where Arthur could easily miss Yonathan's silhouette if he didn't look close enough. The man was almost like a chaleon in the way he was able to do that.

"See? That is the true power of a profound understanding of the nature of your body and the environnt. The way you move your mana and the way you control it throughout every inch of you is how you create perfect camouflage. But, even I never achieved perfect camouflage." The old man spoke as all that effect deactivated, and he appeared again.

"... I see." The old man said.

"Now, don't bother yourself with learning this quickly. This isn't your current target. Exo-Burst is a lot easier because it uses speed as a main component and is not fully reliant on your body technique."

"No." Arthur, however, shook his head.

"Hm?"

"That… I also want to learn that." He said. "You said I could achieve perfect camouflage, no? Then I will learn it along with Exo-Burst."

"... This isn't the ti to be childish, kid."

"I am being dead serious, Yonathan." The boy replied with a calm tone. "I want to learn that."

Yonathan was completely dumbfounded. He didn't even know how to reply to the boy. He could hear the endless determination in Arthur's voice and that told him that the boy was being honest and not just saying it for the sake of excitent.

Staring into his eyes, all Yonathan could see was a boy who wanted to beco stronger. It didn't matter how hard he had to try as long as he got to that goal. He had an endless hunger for power, like an ocean with no bottom.

Yet, what made it even more confusing for Yonathan, is that the boy had total control over that desire. He wasn't mindlessly running after that goal without thinking about each step he took. Instead, he was aware of every thing he did, and he weighed all his decisions before taking them.

'This kid…' For so reason, that realization made Yonathan smile faintly. He really found the situation quite funny with how ridiculous it was.

"And what do you want to do to achieve that? This technique requires years and years of intense training and experience in battles."

"What kind of question is that, Yonathan?" Arthur frowned. "It's obvious, isn't it? I will simply do all of that… Just faster."

"..."

'Yeah, there is no way I can predict or understand this kid. His brain works in ways I cannot fathom.' The old man exhaled a small breath. In his entire lifeti, the man had never t a person as weird as Arthur.

The boy was moving in ways he could not understand and yet cannot disagree with either. The boy simply seed like he was living in this world with rules only he could follow and understand. He saw things in ways he could not fathom. Yet, Yonathan would be lying if he said that he wasn't already growing to like Arthur and this personality of his.

"Sure, but for now, focus on learning Exo-Burst, which is your target. Then, you can spend all the ti in the world to learn it."

"Hmm, sure. So, what am I supposed to do?"
