Arthur felt as if his face was suddenly smashed by a rushing train as he was sent flying back to the other side of the deck. He rolled violently like a ragdoll and broke the handrail as he finally stopped.
For a second, he lost all vision, and his brain shut off. The hit was so strong, Arthur didn't even comprehend what happened for a split second. But, a few seconds later, he regained his consciousness.
"Fu… ck…" He groaned with a breathless voice. Blood slowly trickled down his face and a grueso hole could be seen on his forehead. The hit had cracked through his skin and even his skull.
Grabbing it slowly, he felt imnse pain assault his senses, making him squint visibly. His vision swirled and turned as he could barely see the woman in the distance.
'What… the hell? Her attack was… slow… But I couldn't react in ti…' He thought to himself while trying to stand up again. The boy was struggling to understand what just happened in that split second when the woman extended her hand and flicked his forehead.
It all felt so quick and yet also so slow that he wondered how his body didn't imdiately react to the attack as he should've.
"Hmmmmm~"
anwhile, the woman continued humming, unbothered by the young boy. She seed completely unfazed and detached from the world as if nothing mattered to her. Yet, at the sa ti, she seed to have complete control over her own environnt, shaping it as she willed.
Finally, Arthur stood up again and wiped the blood off his face. 'She's extrely strong. I can't take any risks.'
Arthur didn't even hesitate as he quickly opened his nu and then status. He had one single idea in mind which is to use all his Bonus Points. He had 34 Points which was a ridiculous number.
'Put ten points in health, ten points in strength, and then 7 points in stamina and seven points in agility.' He ordered the system.
Almost imdiately, an imnse amount of energy was injected into his body from unknown sources. The rush was so strong, that Arthur felt as if his entire body was starting to burn. His muscles visibly contracted as his veins expanded to double their size. Imnse changes started happening to his body at a very rapid pace as all those points turned into raw power.
To use 34 points in one single instance was simply unheard of in the ga. Those were points that would take hunting and farming for weeks by normal players and yet Arthur had them stacked as if it was nothing.
Naturally, the mont they were all used, it was as if Arthur took a massive leap in strength.
'This feeling…' He exhaled a small breath as he looked at his hand. He felt powerful… Imnsely powerful. So powerful, in fact, his body felt like it was about to fly. Everything about him felt so much lighter, and faster while also strong. His aura visibly thickened, becoming far more pronounced and suffocating.
"Hahaha… I should've not waited for so long." He muttered as he looked up at the woman. For the first ti since she appeared, Arthur saw a faint change in her expression. She seed to have noticed that the boy had done sothing odd.
*Swish*
Then, out of nowhere, Arthur burst into movent as he dashed forward at top speed. His burst left a crack in the wooden floor as he cut a large distance basically in the blink of an eye.
He reached the woman in less than two seconds as he slashed his sword again. This ti, he was ready for what was about to happen and as he expected, his sword sohow passed through her as if she was a ghost.
Then, in the sa way as before, she extended her hand to touch Arthur while the latter felt his body freeze in place. But, this ti, that effect didn't last long as his body broke through it with sheer will and Arthur grabbed the woman's hand.
*BING*
The mont he touched her, he felt a horrifying wave of energy blast through his arm, almost making it explode.
"AGH!!" But, Arthur but his tongue as he yanked the woman and threw her to the other side with full power.
The monster spun in the air and landed gracefully on her feet.
"What the hell is even that ability? She seems to be able to create so sort of ripples that destroy things from the inside." He muttered as he shook his hand to get rid of the horrible numbness that ca with the attack. If it wasn't for his sudden evolution, he knew that his hand would've exploded into a at paste and that thought alone sent a chill down his spine.
'How should I fight her? I can't seem to hit her. Her body can be touched since I could grab her hand. But, it seems she can sohow turn herself invincible for a few seconds.'
That previous clash had given Arthur a lot of information about his enemy. It was very risky, but it was necessary to confirm his theories, and the results had given him extrely useful ideas.
Brandishing his sword again, Arthur glared at the woman. "You're quite the pervert for being completely naked. What a weird thing for the developers to add."
*Swish*
Closing the distance again, Arthur decided to take a different approach. Leaving a small distance between them, he slashed with his sword using the Frostborn ability. The ice ford at the tip of the sword as it swept with him, creating large spikes.
The woman stood in her place. However, this ti, she didn't let the attack touch her and simply pointed her finger at it.
*BING*
All it took was a simple touch for the entire ice slash to burst into small shards and fly everywhere.
"Got you."
During that mont of complete chaos, Arthur vanished again as he appeared behind the woman and swiftly stabbed his sword into her back. He had expected her to react in so way to the attack and used that to his advantage.
However, Arthur never readied himself for the next second. For a mont, he didn't feel his sword make any contact with the flesh, but then… out of nowhere, the woman regained her physical body, wrapping it around the blade.
"Wha-"
Before he could even react, she suddenly grabbed his sword. During that mont, Arthur realized quickly.
'I'm screwed.' His expression visibly paled.
*BING*
Flicking the sword, an imnsely powerful ripple coursed through the blade and entered Arthur's body as he was blasted back again.
"Dammit!!!" The boy cursed as he forcefully forced his fall with his fingers. Looking up, Arthur frowned deeply.
'What the hell is this nonsense? She can do that?!' He yelled in his head. He simply could never think that she could contain the sword within her body without damaging her organs. That kind of ability was simply ridiculous.
Yet, as if she were mocking Arthur, the woman suddenly turned around and stared in a different direction.
Arthur raised his eyebrows and followed her vision, only to realize what she was thinking about.
"Oh no, you don't!!"
