[Apocalyptic World!]
This world selection made Shen Yi's heart skip a beat.
Whether it was martial arts, celestial cultivation, ancient tis, or fantasy-type special worlds, while dangers existed, they generally had rules. Even in the most dangerous places, there would always be peaceful areas.
Looking at an apocalyptic world, even from the words alone one could sense the disorder and chaos within, and the environnt was likely to be extrely harsh.
"This luck... is sothing else. Let's pray it's not so earthquake, tsunami, or doomsday biochemical wasteland."
Shen Yi muttered to himself.
[Beginning random selection of your romance target.]
A large number of silhouettes flashed rapidly, various faces appearing and disappearing before Shen Yi.
Fortunately, they were all female characters without exception, which made Shen Yi breathe a sigh of relief.
With a ding, the silhouettes stopped.
[Romance Target: Cheng Jun]
A beautiful figure appeared in the air, looking about twenty-two or twenty-three years old.
Shen Yi was captivated at first glance - she was extrely beautiful.
Her jet-black hair fell naturally, exuding an elegant and natural beauty. Her eyes were large and bright, showing intelligence and wit. Her skin was as white as snow, and her features were as delicate as a painting.
Her slender waist could be encircled by one's hands, and even as just a projection standing there, she was impossible to look away from.
"Cheng Jun... feels like I've heard this na sowhere."
The na sounded familiar to Shen Yi at first, but after seeing the projection before him, he dismissed the thought.
The woman before him was so exquisitely beautiful she hardly seed real. In terms of looks, she might even surpass Fu Nanzhi. Shen Yi had no mory of ever seeing her before.
If he had seen her in reality, he probably wouldn't forget her even if he beca comatose.

Countless colored bubbles appeared in the void, continuously floating and bursting.
Finally, only three bubbles remained before Shen Yi's eyes.
The three bubbles were about the size of a human head. On the left was a black military dical kit, in the middle was a handgun with two spare magazines, and on the right was a small survival pack with apocalyptic supplies.
dical supplies, weapons, or resources - choose one. Shen Yi hesitated and thought for a mont.
Honestly, he wanted them all, as these three things were essential in an apocalypse, but now he had to make a choice.
After so thought, Shen Yi chose the middle bubble.
Resources could be scavenged, but having a weapon for self-defense was crucial at first, especially given the obvious dangers of an apocalyptic world.
[Beginning deploynt!]
After making his selection, Shen Yi's vision went black and he lost consciousness.
Thump, thump...
A heartbeat sound awakened Shen Yi.
In a bright room, morning sunlight shone generously.
Vines clung to the walls, extending large leaves that greedily absorbed the sunlight.
Shen Yi stood up and looked around.
This was a living room, with furniture scattered about. The wood and leather gave off a heavy sll of decay.
Clearly, no one had lived here for a long ti.
Besides the furniture, the most eye-catching things were the plants. Various vines and root systems were embedded in the walls, with leaves and rootlets.
Shen Yi stomped and rubbed the ground - the smooth tiles were actually covered with unknown moss.
Everything felt incredibly real, from breathing to touch, almost identical to when he had entered the simulation using romance points last ti.
He tried to call up his attribute panel, and surprisingly, it responded.
A light-colored screen appeared before his eyes. The good news was that his physical attributes and talents after allocation had been perfectly copied into this dream world.
The attributes had beco gray and unselectable, with only a handgun icon flashing. Then new information appeared below.
[Apocalyptic Doomsday]
[Description: In 2020 CE, Year 1 of the Apocalypse, a small teorite fell from the sky carrying an alien plant that had been wandering through space. Once landed, the plant quickly infected the entire world, showing extre adaptability, voracity, and aggressiveness. In just half a year, human civilization was nearly overrun.]
[Countdown: 365 days]
This information startled Shen Yi - it was a plant invasion apocalypse, no wonder the surrounding vegetation and root systems were so developed.
Taking a closer look, the leaves extending to the window were as large as palm fans, with gradient coloring - green at the front, purple in the middle, and almost completely black near the roots.
In the real world, Shen Yi had never seen plants with such strange coloring.
"A countdown? Is there a one-year ti limit?"
"Dating in the apocalypse - talk about having a death wish."
"Well, let's find people first. Wonder where this Cheng Jun is now?"
Since he was already here, there was no use overthinking. Shen Yi decided to leave and explore the surroundings first.
Tapping the icon, a black handgun appeared in his hand.
This was his first ti handling a gun, and he found it quite novel. The allure of firearms was sothing no man could resist, and Shen Yi was no exception.
Holding the gun, he quickly beca familiar with it - after all, even if you haven't eaten pork, you've seen pigs run.
The gun in his hand was a standard 9mm pistol with a 12-round capacity. Including the two spare magazines from the system, he had 36 bullets total.
This amount of ammunition wasn't particularly much - a few blind shots and it would be gone.
Having no system training, he naturally couldn't claim any marksmanship skills. He'd have to be conservative with the ammunition until he could find more.
The good news was that since the gun was given by the system, he could freely store and retrieve it.
This could give him the elent of surprise when needed.
Shen Yi set the gun's safety and stored it in the system, making it ready to fire as soon as he drew it.
After a quick search inside, Shen Yi looked for anything useful before heading out.
Plants were visible everywhere. Shen Yi opened the refrigerator door, but the sight made him frown and quickly close it.
Who knows how long the power had been out - the vegetables and at in the fridge had rotted into an unidentifiable mass covered in mold with a pungent sll.
Shen Yi also pulled out a kitchen knife. The sheath was sowhat rusty, but most of the blade was still sharp.
After so thought, he decided to keep it.
Running back to the bedroom, he found a backpack, dusted it off and put it on, securing the kitchen knife to the side.
Unable to find anything else of value, Shen Yi headed downstairs.
He had many questions.
What was the current state of this world? Were there any survivors? Did human governnt still exist? Had the military used nuclear-level weapons?
For now, besides familiarizing himself with the environnt, he needed to find Cheng Jun first.
He had system prompts, but she didn't. Not everyone could adapt to being suddenly thrown into a strange world.
Pushing open the door, Shen Yi went downstairs.
Leaving the stairwell, Shen Yi carefully poked half his body out to look around.
Sunlight was like golden threads, gently penetrating the clouds, wrapping everything in a gauzy veil.
The streets were silent. The surrounding high-rises and shops were mostly covered in vegetation, with only small portions of walls exposed.
As far as the eye could see, a city of towering steel had been engulfed by lush plants.
Everything seed to have returned to a primitive forest.
