【Quitting drinking is not sothing that can be achieved overnight; it requires gradual effort and cannot be rushed.】

【Currently, Shu Yunyi's dependence on alcohol is at a moderate level. If she suddenly stops drinking, she may experience anxiety, low mood, loss of appetite, and in severe cases, nausea, vomiting, and trembling hands and feet.】

【You made an agreent with Shu Yunyi to gradually reduce her daily alcohol intake, but not to stop completely. However, she must inform you before drinking.】

【Shu Yunyi was determined and nodded in agreent.】

【To take care of her and make supervision easier, you decided to move in with Shu Yunyi.】

【You started living together.】

【Although Shu Yunyi is not young, her skin is smooth and delicate, and her body is soft and plump, which made you reluctant to leave her side.】

【Despite Shu Yunyi's willingness to accommodate you, she was hesitant to take the final step, as if she still had so reservations.】

【You didn’t mind too much, as you were already quite satisfied with the teacher’s ample bosom.】

【You set a daily limit for her: three bottles of beer or 200 milliliters of liquor.】

【Compared to her previous drinking habits, this amount was barely enough to quench her thirst, but it was better than nothing, as it helped prevent severe withdrawal symptoms.】

【Quitting drinking through sheer willpower alone isn’t enough, so you ca up with additional thods to assist her.】

【Shu Yunyi had a weak digestive system and often fell into a deep sleep after drinking, leading to irregular eating habits. You started preparing three als a day for her.】

【You did thorough research and created a detailed al plan for her.】

【Every morning, you prepared a bowl of oatal to boost liver function and reduce her desire to drink.】

【The diet was light, focusing on foods rich in vitamins and protein, supplented with fresh vegetables and fruits.】

【Shu Yunyi had a small appetite and often lost interest after just a few bites.】

【You knew this was a consequence of long-term alcohol abuse, so you insisted that she eat more. Only by improving her physical health could she better overco her dependence.】

【Shu Yunyi was moved by your dedication and beca more serious about the process. She wanted to live up to your expectations and worked hard to adapt.】

【You only allowed Shu Yunyi to drink after she had eaten, so her stomach would be full, leaving little room for alcohol.】

【After the first cycle, Shu Yunyi had significantly reduced her alcohol intake and was adapting well. Although she had trouble sleeping at night, everything else was relatively stable.】

【In the next cycle, you encouraged her to keep going and further reduced her drinking, limiting it to once every two days.】

【Boredom and emptiness are the biggest enemies of overcoming alcohol addiction. Often, people fail to quit because they have nothing to do and end up indulging again.】

【To distract Shu Yunyi, you often played chess or other gas with her in the room.】

【You also brought out so of her professional books and teaching materials that you found while cleaning. Shu Yunyi was, after all, a teacher, and you encouraged her to review her materials so she could return to teaching once she successfully quit drinking.】

【Long-term alcohol consumption had affected her mory, so Shu Yunyi found the material sowhat unfamiliar. However, having sothing to focus on made the process less unbearable.】

【With the further reduction in alcohol intake, this period was particularly challenging for Shu Yunyi.】

【While reading or playing chess, she would often feel inexplicably anxious, experience heart palpitations, sweat, and feel restless.】

【It felt as if she were sitting on pins and needles, constantly wanting to drink water or go to the bathroom.】

【You could only accompany her and endure the process together. Overcoming this pain was sothing only she could do; no one else could bear it for her.】

【In the third cycle, you completely eliminated the option of liquor, limiting her to just one bottle of beer after als.】

【This amount was now at a normal level, even less than what most people drink during a casual evening barbecue.】

【Shu Yunyi’s reactions inevitably worsened. She often vomited everything she had eaten, would zone out while reading, and felt particularly low at night.】

【This was due to the alcohol concentration in her blood dropping to a certain level, and there was little you could do to help.】

【Shu Yunyi found it increasingly difficult to endure and began pleading with you for so leniency, even if it was just a small amount of alcohol.】

【You could only firmly shake your head. At this point, you couldn’t give her even a drop more. If you gave in now, all the effort and suffering up to this point would be in vain.】

【Seeing Shu Yunyi’s tearful face, your heart ached, but you could only hold her tightly in your arms.】

【Under your gentle care, Shu Yunyi slowly cald down. She just needed to get through this final hurdle.】

【Before long, Shu Yunyi regained her composure, and everything seed to be moving in a positive direction...】

Night fell.

The moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow on the bed.

Shu Yunyi tossed and turned, unable to sleep.

She felt an emptiness in her heart, as if sothing was missing.

She had already finished a full glass of water by her bedside, but her mouth still felt dry.

Glancing at her phone, she saw that it was already past one in the morning. She had been lying in bed since ten, but after more than three hours, sleep still eluded her.

She had no interest in watching videos or playing gas; her mind was restless and unsettled.

Quitting drinking was sowhat like abstaining from desire. At first, her resolve was strong and unwavering, but as ti went on, her willpower began to waver, until it eventually crumbled completely.

She wanted to drink—badly.

It felt like a hundred claws were scratching at her heart.

If it weren’t for Shen Yi’s constant supervision and her desire not to disappoint him, Shu Yunyi would have given in to her urges long ago.

She knew she was in the wrong and hated herself for it, but her thoughts were the hardest thing to control.

Suddenly, she sat up in bed, the tension in her mind snapping.

She slowly got out of bed and carefully opened the bedroom door, listening for any sounds before stepping out.

To avoid any mishaps, the two of them slept in separate rooms, with Shen Yi in the small room next door.

It was late, and Shu Yunyi assud Shen Yi was already fast asleep. She tiptoed toward the living room.

Even though she was in her own ho, Shu Yunyi felt like she was sneaking around.

“I’ll just have a little bit...”

She muttered to herself as she walked on tiptoe. She knew her actions were wrong, which made her even more afraid of being discovered by Shen Yi.

There was plenty of alcohol stored at ho, but Shen Yi usually rationed it out to her. This was the first ti she had tried to sneak so on her own.

The truth was, the amount she was allowed each day wasn’t even enough to quench her thirst, let alone get her drunk. It was a miracle she had lasted this long.

When she reached the living room, she slowly opened the refrigerator.

Rows of cold beer bottles, frosted with condensation, were neatly arranged inside. Just the sight of them made her mouth water.

Swallowing hard, she carefully took out two bottles.

Shu Yunyi didn’t dare take more; taking too much would make it easier for Shen Yi to notice, and she was terrified of seeing the disappointnt on his face.

“Just these two, and I won’t drink tomorrow...”

She reassured herself as she prepared to close the refrigerator door.

“What are you doing?!”

A voice suddenly rang out from behind her.
