Chen Ze returned to the kitchen, feeling that it was rather inappropriate to stare at custors while they were eating.

The restaurant was quiet except for the sound of Hastur peeling crawfish, occasionally accompanied by the sucking of fingers.

It must be said that the Ancient Ruler deserved their reputation, among all the otherworldly guests, Chen Ze was most impressed by this one.

Hastur, being one of the most powerful among visitors from different worlds, could not only influence the real Earth but also read the mories of others, which was truly impressive.

Reading mories is like reliving a life, an ability that could be considered very strong. Hence, by inference, Hastur’s combat power must be so high it’s terrifying.

Chen Ze shook his head, why think about these things? For now, Hastur had no thoughts of harming him and had even turned into a white-haired newbie maiden, giving Chen Ze a taste of the 2D realm.

Chen Ze tied on a headscarf, ready to make a mango mousse to see if his system had so issues.

Making a mango mousse was no challenge at all for the current Chen Ze and, in no ti, he had prepared one.

[You have made an ordinary mango mousse, your dessert-making experience has increased by 5 points.]

Chen Ze breathed a sigh of relief, as long as the system was still there, he felt much more at ease.

"So why was there no prompt just now?" Chen Ze was puzzled.

Are crawfish not worthy to be considered cuisine? Do crawfish have no pride? But before Chen Ze could figure it out, other sounds ca from the restaurant.

"Manager, I want... huh?"

"This is... Aaahhhhh!!!" A particularly tragic high-pitched male scream.

Chen Ze couldn’t help but go out for a look and saw Sebastian lying on the ground, convulsing continuously.

It was particularly pitiful, foaming at the mouth and constantly kicking his legs, which made Chen Ze think about calling ergency services imdiately.

anwhile, Hastur was calmly eating crawfish, her expression as if she had nothing to do with the incident.

"What’s going on here?" Chen Ze scratched his head, feeling it probably had sothing to do with Hastur, but Succubus Betty wasn’t as badly affected as Sebastian, so Chen Ze was a bit confused by the situation.

"I don’t know." Hastur claid innocence with her facial expression.

"...then why did Sebastian faint?" Chen Ze covered his face, helplessly.

"Maybe it’s because my strength is too great," Hastur contemplated for a mont before offering an unthinkable answer.

However, Chen Ze thought it made sense because he suddenly rembered what he had casually learned before about the Cthulhu Mythos.

To humans, Ancient Rulers are like ants, and the re movents of an elephant could bring disaster to ants, but it’s not to say elephants harbor malice towards ants.

Similarly, for Hastur, all she did was sit there and eat her crawfish, but Sebastian ca in, saw her, and was affected, thus his sanity plumted.

Does that an Hastur was malicious towards Sebastian? Not necessarily.

"Then why am I fine?" Chen Ze suddenly thought, considering he was even more insignificant, like an ant, compared to Sebastian.

If Sebastian could be driven to ntal breakdown by Hastur’s unconscious actions, Chen Ze would have been committed to a ntal hospital long ago.

"You? You’re different, both you and her have been protected by the magic circle," Hastur looked at Chen Ze oddly, having thought he knew about this.

"Her?" Chen Ze looked at Betty in surprise. He knew he was under the protection of the magic circle, but why was Betty also under the protection of the magic circle?

"Hmm, I’ve finished eating, and based on the mories I’ve read, I should pay now, right?" Hastur wiped his hands on his body, leaving grease marks on his clothes.

"That’s correct..." Chen Ze stared blankly at Hastur, the oil stains on the other’s body were particularly noticeable.

"It seems that I should give RMB? I don’t have that." Hastur hesitated for a mont. He knew what RMB was, but really didn’t have any.

"You can also pay with other ingredients or sothing else." Chen Ze offered a solution.

"Then I’ll give you this." Hastur took out a small, crystal-like object from his body.

Yes, took out, as Chen Ze watched Hastur reach into his own belly and pull out the object.

Chen Ze suddenly wanted to ask, do you have any relation to so blue, earless cat?

"What is this?" Chen Ze looked confused.

"This is sothing from my body, similar to what you humans call blood," Hastur said nonchalantly.

"Um..." The blood of an Ancient Ruler, Chen Ze felt he dare not accept.

Could this thing be used in cooking? Don’t joke; the food made with it would probably drive people insane.

So, was this thing valuable? If not used for cooking, it looked like an ordinary crystal, except for the flowing liquid inside.

Chen Ze felt that no one would want it even if he took it outside, and he even had to consider which trash can to throw it into.

So the question was, what kind of waste would the blood of an Ancient Ruler be considered?

"Sorry, we can’t accept this," Chen Ze said with a wry smile, shaking his head.

"You can put it on a tab, and pay the next ti you co," Chen Ze offered another solution.

"Next ti? You hope there’ll be a next ti?" Hastur looked at Chen Ze strangely.

In the worlds before, just going out for a walk, to see the scenery, would get him surrounded and beaten, then sealed away.

Yet this human actually asked him to co again?

"Yes, but for the safety of other custors, we’ll need to schedule your visits precisely..." Chen Ze glanced at Sebastian, who was still lying on the ground, and rubbed his hands together.

If there were no restrictions, Chen Ze imagined scenarios like this:

"Manager..." A couple of Dragons lying on the ground.

"Twenty portions of bar..." Comrade Gu Aotian lying on the ground.

"Hmph, humans..." A certain tsundere Vampire loli also lying on the ground.

Then what about business? How would that go!

"Fine, but how will I know the ti?" Hastur surprisingly didn’t show any emotion and agreed to Chen Ze’s request.

"I’ll give you a watch, and every day at this number, you can co in to dine," Chen Ze handed Hastur a digital watch, then wrote 22:30 on a piece of paper.

"Okay." Hastur nodded, then turned into a puff of black smoke and left straightaway.

"Tsk, so it’s black inside no matter how you slice white, huh?"
